[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Melee: 3 Dex + 3 Fight = (4)(3)(4)(5)(4)(3) It's a good, well-placed hit.
Strike: 3 Str + 1 power - 4 vit = 1d6 min.
(3) No damage, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt! It shouldn't bruise or anything.

The Whirlepede Stampede strikes Heart's little party.

Heart: (2) Heart takes 1 dmg.
Rose: (1) Rose escapes unscathed.
Clawitzer: (6) Clawitzer is badly poisoned!
Lucifer: (3) Lucifer takes 1 dmg.

Aside from those unfortunate events, you are able to demolish the Whirlipede with super-effective and spread moves.

When he felt the naked sense of terror and vulnerability within his most blessed girlfriend before his empathetic reading was neatly cut off by her sealing her mind tighter than two sheets of Steel wielded together, Ventus let out a long *Sigh.....* of reliefs as he makes the motions of letting her go......only for her to offer her thanks before lightly grapple onto him and all but pull him onto Tropius as she summoned them. Her sudden serious and ever so slightly feverous declaration also surprised the researcher for its stark contrast to what he felt just moments prior, but soon he returned her smile with a sharp, thinned lipped one of his own and his eyes twinkled with nothing good for whoever took away their Pokémon. "Indeed, let's go forth, and teach IT the consequences of its pure folly."

Aspis (who we should remember he summoned recently in response to Lucifer going off after Heart) wasn't too pleased with her master being manhandled by them so, but since it the end result would get them all their faster and keep him out of danger, she could begrudgingly accept this ploy of that fae woman's. Doesn't mean she has to like it or respect her at all for it, though, *Hiiiiisss!*

The way forward is clogged with scurrying, singleminded Pokemon. You can't go a mile without running into something dangerous. These clashes are fierce but short, leaving you out of breath even with an easy victory.

All the Pokemon down here make the footprints impossible to follow anymore. Ditto is able to sniff out your Pokemon's trail, but it can only stand to commit to this for a little bit at a time before it starts getting lightheaded and hasty, much as Shiva and Ventus were.

Mt. Sentry Legendary Biome Part 1

All encounters are mandatory in that everyone must take on one Encounter.

Heart's already done one, but he can do a second one if he wants to save somebody else the trouble.

The desire roaming within Shiva to make haste and find all their missing Pokemon was neatly crossed by the sight that the tunnel beforehand was practically filled with wild Pokemon. Several smaller ones she spotted, occassionally something bigger, but they all came and went so fast + Shiva had to concentrate if she wanted to stay mounted on her Tropius AND resist this unknown force from making its way over the moat protecting her Castle of the Mind (currently, it was trying to get various Dragon Pokemon to cooperate), it was not possible for her to make out any particular species, neither did she managed to spot anything special like shiny sparkles in the mass like in that Zubat Horde when infiltrating the base of the Water Scimitars. ....At the thought of THEM, Shiva leaned a little closer into Tropius's neck, determination flared up a tiny bit more.

A tad bit sad she was indeed as Ventus caught her attention by asking her to stop, which caused her to pat her Tropius's neck to make him stop in the first place. "Good luck on that dangerous Pokemon, dear!" she shouted to him in response as she watched him leave into its direction. A tad bit worried and sad she indeed was as they ended up splitting up, but she didn't dwell on that for long. If...they want to make it, dividing to deal with as many possible obstacles was a good call as she realized on the second thought, so after she threw a temporarly last look over to Ventus, she averted her gaze again to keep going.

Shiva and Dizzy will probably be suprised by these Tandormon while she's flying on Tropius, forcing her to land (or not, if there's room and they're flying themselves). My question however is, whether she can guess the Type of the Pokemon she meets solely from the looks and behaviour of them to send out matching Pokemon herself?

Ventus senses a hostile Pokemon ahead and closes with it. He comes to an area of bitter, bitter cold. Flapping overhead is an unrecognizable enormous moth Pokemon, half again as big as a man. Its wings are icy blue. Its fur, which coats thorax and legs, is dull orange frosted with white. It starts to flap its wings as you appear, flinging a gust of dangerously cold air at you.

It smells weird in this area.

Given that Nathan's mostly only thinking about how he has to find Ralts ASAP, running into this parent and child duo with a fire horse by his side is definitely not on purpose.

Hopefully they're not too frenzied to immediately start attacking in self defense simply because there's a Fire type nearby.  This isn't a very good matchup for Nathan at all, even if it is potentially less dangerous due to the lack of pokemon that can go boom.

Ventus' anger had simmered down to an non-volitle level as he took the charge in this crisis situation and lead/helped lead the group down the trail of their lost Pokémon (with the aid of the trackers, of course), but he was no less utterly infuriated by the sheer gall of whatever rot and blight infested retrobate of enrapturing all their beloved partners. What didn't help him keep a calm, clear head any was the swarms of wild creatures that were just enough of a challenge to delay them and be a serious, tiresome annoyance for them all. By the time the group dispatched what seemed to be the umpth million pest, the researcher was contemplating whether or not it was worth it to let Apsis (who was having a malicious good time pulverizing all that stood in her/her Master's way) start devouring and/or eviscerating the trial of Fainted Pokémon they were leaving, and having her parade what was left of her pray to the other creatures they meet as an all too grim warning to get, stay got or else.

Before he could serious mull of the merits of such a gruesome decision, he suddenly had an intense gut feeling that the rest of the group were about to run into an unbelievably and MONSTEROUSLY strong THREAT up ahead, along the premonition that if it wasn't taken care of in short order it would take care of them instead. This grim intuition was like getting struck by a Thunderbolt to Ventus (which had the displeasure of that happening a few times in his work), shocking him out of his current train of thought and nearly pitch over the side of the Tropius he and Shiva were riding, until he got a grip on himself/the mount and shouts for his girlfriend to: "Stop! There an dangerous Pokémon ahead that needs to be subdued before we can safely proceed, so let me, Apsis, and Malphena handle them while you and the rest of our group handle whatever else might stand in our way! We're the most fortified and prepare to deal with heavy offense, so we'll be fine, so let us down now Shiva!"

Once they complied, Ventus and his sisters wasted no time in rushing off to confront whatever triggered THAT severe of a bad gut feeling, using it to guide him/his family toward its location and stop it in its tracks!

Orders: Take on the Big Bag Mystery Pokémon with Malphena and Apsis! Last time I fought a Tough Encounter I got a Gyrarados thrown at me, so let's see what horror awaits Ven and his Family!

Flying on Tropius, Shiva finds herself suddenly surrounded by unknown Pokemon. On the walls, not too far from her, are two forms of a yellow bug Pokemon. The bigger one has fuzz and a lightbulb for a tail. The smaller one looks like a cross between a Ribombee and a Joltik, with brown and yellow stripes. These two are both a little spiderlike. They fling webs at you, making it a great idea to land. (You'd guess Electric type)

On the ground, your position is flanked by two sizes of red and black ants, with fire coming from the spinnerets of the larger one. (You'd guess Fire type).

And crawling up out of a shallow puddle is a big spiderlike spittlebug Pokemon, blue and frothy with too many eyes, and its smaller tick-like counterpart. (Probably a Water type, eh?)

One of them of your choice can be female.

It smells very strongly of formic acid or something here. It gives you a wave of nausea and a feeling of surrender.

They do attack immediately, but it seems they anticipated your arrival.
Sharp claws start lashing out at you and Swiftfire.

Nathan can't smell; the cold ruins his nose. Swiftfire shies a little though, as if she senses something unpleasant.
