When Shiva and Ventus return to the site of the bugly massacre, they find a crew of Durant chomping happily on the bodies.

(5) The little beelike Pokemon, the yellow spider, and the tiny fire ant are still alive. The rest have been summarily dismantled.

The Durant flee at the first sign of aggression.

Aww, boooh! Luckily these pesky Durant already fled themselves at the sight of her and the oddball of sociologist, as otherwise Shiva would GLARE them away from the scene immediately, not even awaiting Apsis' use of the move.

Shiva sighs a little, turns to Azu and Dizzy who she DELIBERATELY left by the bugs to prevent such a thing. When she speaks up to them, she doesn't sound aggressive anymore, but a tad bit dissappointed. "Now though, you two, I've asked you to guard the fainted bugs please! Failed on that task, were there too many of them, were my orders to vague? Ah...." She pets Azu's forehead fondly when the far rabbit immediately came to hug her, looking up to her beloved master in apology. 'Steely ants, many! Eeeeeee! Scary creatures, don't want to be chomped on myself! Master now angry with me? :C '

Clearly having picked up that worry from Azu, she smiles down to her, then gifts Dizzy a kind gaze as well. ".....No, I'm not angry with you. Not TOO happy either, however! But...ah, let us face the positive side of this, at least we we're able to provide some free food to these Durant. May they have enjoyed our unintentional gift, and may the unknown bug's soul find their peace and a queen to live with in heaven's realm." She folds her hands, and a small prayer for the deceased unknown bugs follows. "Ah, and you were able to protect the yellow ones, even unintentionally, so let us not fret!"

Then, she proceeded to catch all remaining three ones after Apsis glared and poisoned them, still using normal Pokeballs - whether she'll keep one of the yellow one's with herself in return for Bergmite due to useful Tail Glow outside of battle depends - (according to Corebook Page 45, it'll wake up from fainting condition after 8 hours, paralyzed state leave after 24 hours and the poisoning I can cure. Correct?)

Yep, all correct. Dizzy doesn't look concerned, 'cause he has his own orders and fighting strong Bug types isn't one of them. Azu is guilty looking from hiding, but she's not keen on Steel type without a master around.

Very awesome. That was another....'benefit' of the Durant having dealt with the defeated bugs, having more Balls left in the end.

Humm... However, all three caught bugs get sent to Bill's PC, it still amazes Shiva how this works to perfection so deep down the earth. When the group eventually meets Bill himself, she will surely praise him for this quirk, maybe even ask how he programmed this. Shiva would rather desire to keep that Bergmite with her for the time being, and Swiftfire and Rose actually provide enough light.

That, and from the looks of it she'll need to look into teaching/finding a Bug Type move that channels energies instead of brawling if she desires to use that yellow bug from time to time.... Like Signal Beam. Or precious Silver Wind, a variant form of constantly used Fairy Wind. Bug Buzz is a rare move and will pain her in the ears as well, rather not that one.

It's super effective! Valder's potion count was harsly lowered!

 "I-I have four on me. I'll give you one". Valder takes a breath and relaxes himself. He looks at Swifire and wonders what happened.
One potion transferred to Shiva.

The Baby-Doll Eyes develop into a small smile carefully radiating with thankfulness, as if using a held back Dazzling Gleam. "Many thanks, Valder! We're owing you something." ONLY IF he allows, she even pats him on the back. ^^

That 1 Potion gets handed to Nathan immediately with the words "There you go, for your firely horse! Poor thing."

With that dealt with, she perks and boldly speaks up again. "N-Now then, please listen! What I'll be telling may sound like a huge tall tale just like these Eevee with way too many fur from Torren, but by my beloved Cottonee's invisible mouth until it evolves I'm swearing that it's true! I...I've been flying on Tropius further down the tunnel after having stopped to let Ventus go when I've been stopped myself by two yellow buglike Pokemon that I've never seen before - one bigger and one smaller one. They fired spiderwebs in my direction. Of course I landed then, only to be greeted by two more bugs that looked like fierly ants, again a big one and a small one. I was intrigued when MORE came from a nearby puddle, two blue and spongy ones! The smaller one bounced when it fell to the ground and from my Tropius neck."

She paused a little, took a breath before she continued. "They've attacked me right away. Attempted mutiny! Thanks to Dizzy we've defeated them AAAALLLLL. Hehe! Some of 'em I caught, like that cute small yellow one." Suddenly, she pauses again, shorter however, seemingly growing a little meek. "But.... I assume they're from this regions called 'Tandor', do you know something about them? Like, the names of the species?"

She then proceeded to show him and everyone who wants to see them as well the photos of the fainted bugs in a slideshow, renaming each picture with the name of the species that Nathan can hopefully tell.

"...th-thanks, Valder...*sniffle*..."

Now that he's closer to everyone, it's obvious Nathan's been sobbing a little.  He's quick to apply that Potion to Swiftfire.  However, she still has 1 point of Lethal damage.

"...h-how's everyone else d-doing on healing items?  I have 2 Potions, a Sitrus Berry, and 2 bottles of my mom's Lemonade left...Lemonade isn't any good in battle nor serious wounds, though..."  (is Ventus able to spare a Potion?  Don't have to, but I'd like to know where we're sitting at in terms of healing supplies)

To answer Valder's silent question: "...it was a p-particularly...v-violent Levanny and a Swadloon.  Ditto says they were acting aggressive b-because of whatever's drawing everything down this t-tunnel, th-though...I don't think we'll have to deal with them again..."

If Ventus (or anyone else, for that matter) makes any moves to go after that Leavanny, Ditto stands in his way and points down the tunnel in the direction Heart went once more!  Justice has been served already, so it's time to move on.

Notably, Nathan has no idea what Shiva's talking about when Shiva mentions Torren and references Mega Eevee.  He's never heard of either before (as Heart hasn't mentioned the region either).

Valder nods at Nathan and starts rummaging in his bag. "I have a Sitrus Berry, you should take it" Valder says as he lifts the yellow berry up for into clear view.
 Valder keeps Theo's ball close to him as he offers the berry.

Heart moves on ahead, stealthily. He thinks his presence has not been noted. There are more Durant up ahead, a nasty looking pack of them. And the tunnel narrows temporarily, to a point where only small Pokemon or the flat-bodied Bug Pokemon can get through. Someone will have to break that open if the group is to continue; it looks like there is an east entrance (red stones) and a west entrance (dull yellow sandstone). Heart is almost discovered by a Durant passing by, bearing an unrecognizable snippet of meat. The two Durant behind it also have meat. The ceiling is swarming with tunneling Karrablast and slow, oozing Shelmet.

Heart spies one canine footprint in the frost, leading toward the yellow sandstone tunnel. Any other traces have been eradicated by the stampede of Bug Pokemon, which seems to have gotten worse.

Huh, it was noteably weird for the fae enthusiast to know about something, even have a printed-out and glued-in picture with various notes of that Eevee with way too much (damn you, previous grammar error) fur, that Nathan has never heard of before, but she eventually reasons this with her connection to Spectral and therefor eagerly wanting to find out everything about Eevees when she was younger. She blinks a little in wonder as she noticed this mild confusion from him, but catches herself quickly again and doesn't mention it again.

She also sighs a little at Nathan's response to her ask for information on these tandorian (Hah! Her assumption was right!) bugs and keeps her gaze on him for a little longer at him in an unimpressed manner, but eventually she surrenders and shows compassion: "Well.... Thanks, and I would agree that we're having bigger things to worry about at the moment, but we CANNOT really do anything until Heart comes back to us so that we can continue all together. Looking things up in your journal to help me would maybe even distract you from worrying for your psychic fairy. But, ah, if you don't want to, I at least tried, I won't force you. .....I'll remind you on looking it up for me, however. Later."

With that said, she packs her cell with the pictures away, leaves Nathan's presence to give him some alone time and summons Tropius and Azumarill to cure his burn with the fae rabbit's Water Sport. She keeps Tropius outside of his Ball, leaning in closely to him while waiting, petting his neck and humming the Skirl of the Southern Wind to him as it's having a pleasant tune - when Heart comes back, she'll ask him for a Heal Pulse from Clawitzer. Can Tropius still be mounted at -2 Pain by a delicate person like Shiva, @Iron, or would that be too much for him?

(Well, how do Ventus, Shiva, and Valder react when they see Swiftfire is Lethally injured?)

When everyone has more or less gathered Valder informs everyone (although he's facing Ventus while speaking) that if they're interested in a fainted delta Forretress with a peculiar ability they are welcome to thank him later. Valder does kinda nudge at Ventus being the main recipient of the message, but mostly since Valder is Ventus' merc, and he gotta make himself slightly usefull.

Since a lot of things passed and Ventus was autoed through at lot of it, I'm just going to give the cliff notes of how he reacts to things.

- When he's fetched by Shiva to go help with the Tandorain Bugs (to which he has no objection to), he a bit shocked but ultimately non-plussed about it, and has no negative reaction at all those insects begin consumed by the Durant besides slight interest, since he knows that the species is typically vegetarian from what he's studied.

- Seeing Swiftfire cut up and nearly gutted and the subsequently hearing the explaination behind it, Ventus indeed does get 'reasonably' angry at the Seamstress and wants to 'do unto it as it did to others' , but gives up the task once Ditto stops and reminds him they all have MUCH more pressing matters to attend to. He's still angry at that Bug of course, especially after nearly getting frostbitten himself by one, but he's not willing to start anything because of it, especially seeing the state Nathan is in because of its actions. Additionally, he would have offered one of his last 3 Potions to him, before Valder cut him off by offering that Sitrus Berry, to which he gives them a grateful clasp on the back and promises to reimburse them for the Potion and Sitrus Berry when they get back on the surface plus a....bonus for all the hard work he's done. He's a good boss, yes he is!

- As for the Offer of Delta Foresstress, Ventus is indeed intrigued by this, but before he makes any motions to capture it he has Apsis test to see if a Restrained Poison Sting works on them to poison the bug, followed by a Glare if regardless if the Poison Sting works or not. If the Poison Sting fails (Which means its still partially a Steel type), Apsis will uses Restrained Ice Fangs to freeze them after Paralyzing them, and then a Steel Ball will be used to catch them. If they do managed to get Poisoned, one regular Pokeball will be used on them, but before he tried to catch them he'll tell the bug if they don't get in they will be left to die of Poisoning.

- He also says nothing about his Encounter with Frosthra unless he's directly asked what he fought, as he thinks its irrelevant vs. going off after their Pokémon and reuniting with Heart in the process. Like Nathan, he's also not too interested in the Tandor bugs since everyone has MUCH more pressing matters to deal with, and may very well forget they existed by the time things settle down enough for his interested to return.

-When/If Heart comes back, He'll ask him if Gustav could use a Heal Pulse on Apsis, since she put into the deep freeze herself by the mega mock Mothra see faced, but he'll give priority to Tropius to get more Heal Pulses since they are the more critically injured.

With all that said/Maybe done, Ven would be ready to move on with everyone else!
