Ven grimaces in distaste the news of the group having to face even MORE bastardous Bug types (and flitches slightly at the mention of that demon dog before Nathan confirmed they weren't here), before closing his eyes, letting out a low *Sigh* and nodding his head, crossing his arms and regarding the group as he spoke. "Then we best proceed with our Fire and Flying types and move users in the front to ward of those insects and proceed down the yellow stone tunnel with utmost caution. If the Bug should try to stop use, sufficient demonstration of the 'firepower' we have on hand should persuade them to leave us alone and unmolested, but given the near mindless and relentless behavior these Pokémon have demonstrated thus far......we should prepare for the worse. As for healing, Tropius should have its wounds attended to first, as their injuries are the most severe, followed by my sister Apsis. Once Heal Pulse for each should suffice, unless each individual Pokémon needs another to be gotten out of critical condition."

After saying this, the researcher then beckons Lucifer over to his side.......and began to sternly lecture them for flying off ahead with the rare collector without getting his explicit permission first/informing him, with him looking worried, irritated, and deeply disappointed in his brother for such a reckless, thoughtless action on their part. "Lucifer, I am extremely disappointed in you for flying off like that. If you were with me and the rest of the group, we could have used your Tailwinds to speed us all through the tunnels in order to reach this point AND reunite with all our friends and family that much quicker. Instead, you joined up with Heart and left me and everyone behind, delaying us all sustainly in the process and giving whatever lured away our Pokémon all the more time to do anything to them. Had you come to me first and informed me of your desire to join Heart, I might have allowed you to do so in order to keep an eye on him and provide aid in him scouting the way ahead, but you didn't and acted on your own initiative seemingly without concern for my feelings or thought to the consequences of your decision."

The empath pins his little devil with an especially firm stare as he finishes giving them a verbal reaming, looking at them imposingly as he awaited their response....

Lucifer squeaks. He looks offended, but the way he casts his eyes down makes you think he'll think twice next time. He looks worried that Dry Food won't be enough to keep him alive and he'll become a Duskull, but as a researcher you know for a fact it will meet all his nutritional needs.

(Aww, that means Tropius is 'only' at -1 Pain now!~ I guess now he'd wouldn't object anymore if he'd be mounted, but Shiva would rather prefer for him to rest in his Ball. That, and his fruit may allure the bugs to us.)

Mt. Sentry Legendary Biome Part 2

The only Encounter that's mandatory is surmounting the obstacle of the yellow OR reddish narrow tunnel. Ideally, one person would hold off the Durant while others address the geological obstacle.

...he's worried, and he's desperate to find any trace of his best friend.  Plus, that pearl is incredibly rare and valuable.  With or without Lucifer's help, he's going to attempt this.

When Heart guide everyone he pointed the place he find the footprint and see the Durants. "Looks like we gonna as exterminators. Shiva, do you mind join with me and put a end to this Ant threats?"

All these bugs around made Shiva rather nervous and skittish, she eyed them with caution and averted her gaze swiftly whenever one of them met her gaze. Yikes.

Soon they came to the tunnel with yellow sandstone ('Oh! Indeed sandstone!') and immediately she crouched down t examinate these canine footprints herself with curiosity and concentration - do they look like they might origin from a Mightyena or a Growlithe, or not familiar at all? Her attention was soon averted from these footprints as Heart adressed her directly, asking for her help - at hearing that, she got up again and made unintentional immediate eye-contact with even MORE DURANT. Eeeeeeek, she flinched automatically as these ants clattered with their steely jaws! S-she has already played vermin exterminator shortly before against unknown bugs, but looks like trial hasn't ended yet!

But.... She threw a look over to Ventus by her side, well knowing that he's in posession of matching digging tools. An impercible sigh later, she released Azumarill from her Ball: The fae rabbit didn't look too well (-1 Pain), but at the same time she looked like she won't allow herself to be hindered by that. Back to Ventus: "Ven.... Can you please enlarge the entrance of this tunnel with your Pokemon and respective tools? Azu will lend you a Helping Hand." .... "You will? Thank you!" Now, back to Heart: She faced him with a weird mixture of determination and fear in her eyes, but eventually nodded to him. "Yes, let us not allow to get too close to us... Me and Lilith can restrain them with a Telekinesis so you can attack them if needed, some Fire-STABs from Rose should do the trick IF necessary. I don't know whether attacking them will allure more..."

Ventus and Co, with Rock Smash and tools, make short work of the yellow sandstone tunnel. Soon it's wide enough for even Nathan mounted on Swiftfire, and for Tropius with wings folded.

During excavation, Ventus uncovers a Revive crystal in the old natural style! They are found deep underground and certain hyperionized minerals sometimes form these rhomboid gems that can arouse a fainted Pokemon.

Shiva and Heart hold back those ants with Telekinesis and the threat of fire - the plan is to rush on by rather than fight them individually. "Capturing them for more digging power is the only reason we'd want to face all of these down here!" says Mr. Finder.

Oh yes, and the footprint looks a lot like Mightyena's, though you haven't become very familiar with him yet.

Oh, and Lilith winces sharply whenever her tinfoil hat is jarred by combat and excavation.

You rush in on the Tailwind, grab the item, and return to the safety of your friends without getting cut in half by Durant. You're holding a piece of flesh, preserved by the bitter chill and not yet claimed by the busy Durant.


It looks like the severed tail tip of a member of the Slowpoke line.
