[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Alright guys, I think I've come up with a plan that has the greatest amount of success in getting our Pokémon without resorting to disasterous diplomacy or fighting/bringing down the castle on the Ant Queen.

Part 1: The Pokeballs of all the Pokémon strung up in the web will be evenly distributed between all humans, so that 2 will be in each character's hands so that when/if Raphael/Dizzy/Calam frees them, everyone can instantly recall them. If Dizzy or Calam are used in the Stealth, they could conceivably stay out and simply run with everyone else instead of being recalled, while if Raphael will be used Ven will have their archangel's and Turiel's Pokeballs in hand. All other Pokeballs will be distributed as the group sees fit.

Part 2: On whatever Pokémon that attempts Stealth, we have to decide if Nathan or Heart will be doing the Stealth. The former has High DEX and could have XP stored away so he could add a couple of Levels to that speciality, while the later has 3 Levels in Stealth and could conceivably raise either his Fight or DEX so that his chance of success goes up (assuming he has enough XP stored up for it, that is).

Part 3: Azu will use Helping Hand and Lucifer will use Tailwind on whomever will be doing the Stealthing Freeing, as having a whopping + 4 Bonus to your roll is a very good thing indeed. If their is anything else that might help in stealth, like some sort of slime that could cover up their scent from Seika, that could also help too! Heck, slathering them with Honey could do the job, since this place has plenty of it and the bugs have been demonstrated to being coated in the stuff!

Part 4: The big part - Sending out our Pokémon to do the Stealth Roll to sneak up and free whatever Pokémon our Pokémon. If we succeed, all is well!  If not.....we better have several back up plans and get ready for one hell of a fight!

Part 5: Assuming we succeed and recall all our Pokémon, we have Lucifer cast Tailwind on all our mounts and simply high tale it out of there! Calam and Dizzy can charge up Razor Winds to slice and dice any bugs that try to stop us, Grid can use Ele Webs, Mamo can shake things up....what have you!

Part 6: Once we get out of that Tunnel/Part of the Caves, we have Mamo collapse that tunnel to cut them off and buy us more time so that we can simply run down the other path that Valder dug up for us!

Part 7: We escape and seal off the Red Tunnel to buy us even MORE time, and continue running away until we are safely out of her zone of influence.

That's my main plan of action that I have come up with. Any suggestions that could be added to it, or other plans you guys have in mind?

She can use her psychic attacks without removing the hat, but she can't make mental contact with Seikamater.

Telekinesis doesn't completely paralyze a Pokemon but could slow Seikamater down.

Stealth is based on Survival, not Fight. (See Ambush).

That is a good plan my dear, and I'm all for what you are describing there. Additional thoughts/questions concerning it, @Lord Windos:

- So, is only one Pokemon of us doing that Stealth with either Heart or Nathan or several? That's not too clear to me from your phrasing. If it's only one, I'd ask for either Dizzy (he's trained professionally for such things) or Calam (experienced and bearing +1 Dexterity) to do it.

- Looking through my Inventory, I'm having these Baashaun-boots that grant +1dice on a Stealth Roll! Whoever of our charas is making the Roll will obtain these boots from me. A level-up of the person doing the Stealth Roll to increase the chances of success is something I'd completely agree to. Please!

- Azu and Tropius are both on -1 Pain, so to raise the chances of safe Helping Hand/escape on Tropius a Heal Pulse for each would be appreciated, if possible.

But Telekinesis somehow does make mental contact...? If it can slow down Seika and increase our chances of freeing our Pokemon, I'm all for it, Shiva would make definitely sure that Gothitelle is not drawn to Seika's call by keeping a firm hold of her, if she'd make it to free herself anyway she'll be instantly recalled.

The reason I was suggesting Raphael is because an Air Slash will auto destroy the Webs, while Night Slash or Razor Wind might need to exceed a certain damage threshold to do it in one go. That, and Extreme Speed could be used by them to get them out of the dangerzone lickity split if needed! Still, Dizzy or Calam are equally viable choices, so that's why I suggested we use them for Stealth too.

Ideally, using only 1 Pokémon would be the best as that minimizes the chances of the Stealthy getting caught, but Dizzy and Calam could conceivably work together on Stealth to free our Pokémon all the easier, for the reasons you described and the natural synergy between them.

Great suggestion on the boots, dear! Those will help greatly, as the more dice we can stack , the better odds we have!

Gustav only has one Heal Pulse left, so you have to decide if Azu or Tropius will get it.

If you have her out, you'll either need to keep her out and on a mount or accept she'll lag behind when we make our escape, as a Trainer can only recall up to two Pokémon per Round. Keep that in mind, honey.

This is why I have been talking about the tinfoil hat. Not to tell you anything about what moves you can or cannot use. Maybe I'm still not understanding what you're asking? Apologies if so!

N-Nevermind, Iron! Maybe I just phrased things awkwardly, but if a Trainer can only recall two Pokemon per Round I'd rather not have her out and concentrate on recalling the captured Pokemon by Seika instead.

Humm... Personally I'd say that Calam and Dizzy are both best suited for the task of freeing our Pokemon = they make the Stealth Roll with Nathan OR Heart who wear the Baashaun-Boots of mine, but if it's possible Raphael could stay out to chip in if things go wrong for the reasons you gave there, Windos.

If only 1 Heal Pulse is left, I'd please ask for Tropius to get it before we're putting the plan into action as we'll rely on him for escape if that's fine by everyone, as once we have fred our Pokemon Ralts and Ditto can still patch us up shall we happen to be involved in a battle against the queen.

Well, in this moment I only have 8 XP with me. I dont enough XP to increase Stealth, Dex or Survival. Lets see how it would be the dice roll: Dex (3)+Survival (3)+Stealth(3) from Heart: 9d6. Dex (5) + Survival (3) + Stealth (0) from Nathan: 8d6. I think Nathan should receive that Boots so that way shall be a 9d6 chance for both of our characters. 

As a side addition to the plan, Gustav and Patrat could help Mamo to collapse the tunnels with Seed Bombs and Aura Sphere, and collpsing the path to give us the chance to escape.

Quick rundown on what I have noted:

-Nathan currently has 5 Dex, 3 Survival, 0 Stealth, and 24 EXP (which I'd like to save, ideally...but if we REALLY need it, I could get up to 3 points of Stealth instantly.  Could say it happens out of desperation in character, I suppose).  Calam also has +1 Dex and Survival (giving him a total of 6 Dex and 4 Survival when Nathan uses him).  Dizzy uses his own stats.  He has 4 Dex, 4 Survival, and ? Stealth if my notes are correct (we've not seen what that last stat is yet iirc, but he probably has some points in it thanks to his training).  Both also have Quick Attack to double their speed, so they could both hightail it out of there immediately once everything is said and done.  Of course, Raphael also has Extreme Speed, and if he uses that while under Nathan's guidance, even Calam would have trouble keeping up.

- Swiftfire also has Quick Attack, and coupled with Flame Charge, that means she's as fast as Calam is.

- Unfortunately, Yule is NOT that fast, and would just be relying on his base 5 Dex to run.

- Grid, being a Bug, is very, very, VERY risky to be using, even if his Electrowebs would annihilate everything that's not a Harylect or something resistant to Electric.  Razor Wind is also a Charge move, and EQ hits us too.  We need to keep those things in mind.

- Captured pokemon were Ralts, Solomon, Zippy, Grid(?), Yena, Turiel, Slurpuff, Growlithe, and Raticate.  If Grid is not among their number, then that's only 8 pokemon to recall, which only technically requires 4 humans.  Ralts might also immediately Teleport to Nathan/whoever is not near Seikamater once freed, which means he might not have to be recalled anyways since someone can just scoop him up and run.




I'm completely fine with that plan.  This is gonna require risking it for the biscuits for sure, though...
