[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
.....Wait a minute, I just thought of something: Are their any large stalactites on the ceiling directly above Seika? If so......we can pull an Orbital Bombarbment strike on them too, which could outright kill her or at least seriously maim her if we send Raphael to Rock Smash it free! More over, could Rock Smash be used on the Pillars of her castle to be shunted on her too? Its a valid idea, since if our attacks don't do shit to her, then several large pointy rocks might! Of course, messing with the castle is Last Resort esqe, but hey, options people, and we need them!

I thought Helping Hand was an applied buff, as in using it gives the benefits automatically and they stick, rather than a continuous buff that needs constant usage/on time application to work? Iron, some clarification on this?

1 Helping Hand grants these +2 dice on Accuracy Roll AND +2 dice on Damage Roll of the next action the Pokemon Helping Hand is used and stacks with everything, 1 HH for 1 Action, that's how I handled it always.

It's late though and I should head to bed, maybe that's why I'm overthinking things right now. I'm sorry!

I hope you right my friend. Lets pray she did not use almight moves such as Hydro Cannon or anything. Anyway, the part of Heart plan is act as offencive line together with Ventus to distract Seika until Nathan get everyone free with Calam and Dizzy. Is that correct? Just want understand my part of this plan to make sure everything work well.

Razor Wind
Accuracy: 6* Dex + 3 Fight + 3 Canalize = 12 base (before Tailwind and/or HH)
Damage: 5* Strength (after SD) + 3 Power - 1 Defense = 7 D6 (before HH and/or critting)
Note: 3 successes to crit and it can potentially destroy 5 webs without critting/HH, but is a charge move

Air Cutter
Accuracy: 5 Dex + 3 Fight + 3 Canalize + 1 Wide Lens = 12 base (before Tailwind and/or HH)
Damage: 2 Power + 3 Strength + STAB - 1 Defense + SE = 5 D6 + 1 damage (before HH and/or critting)
Note: 4 successes to crit, won't be able to destroy webs in 1 hit without critting/HH

Both could theoretically destroy all 8-9 webs in 4 actions.  2 actions minimum if we're really lucky with Air Cutter.

Your call whether Lucifer gets directly involved, Windos.  Lucifer is your pokemon.  Just tell me which pokemon exactly Nathan is taking with him on this stealth mission.  I'll dump the exp into 2 points of stealth IC when Ventus brings up the plan.

With Helping Hands (Which is garenteed if Shiva spends the Will Points[Please do, honey]) ,a Will Point spent by Nathan to give the move + 1 Success, AND After You from Raphael to make sure he goes first once Combat gets started, Lucifer has a 7D6 + 1 chance per move disregarding Crits, which is equal to Calam's Razor Wind without Crits/HH AND the move can be spammed. That, and Calam/Dizzy can simply charge up a Razor Wind while Lucifer is steathing it and ONLY unleash it when the Ambush goes off/doesn't, while Azu and Gustav fire off Bubbles at the Firokes to keep them down and out.

All that said, I want Lucifer to be used, as with the required set up , NO delay on his Spread Move AND support from others once combat starts, we can get our friend free pronto.

Anything else you guys can think of that can increase Lucy's chances of Stealth? Iron, would smearing him in honey/hive gunk cover up his scent and increase his Stealth Roll without also imparing him?

You think either would help a lot.

I'm.... I'm outta-chara loving that idea although it sounds brutal (poor Seikamater), but I'd let Tropius learn Rock Smash simply for that sake and aiding Raphael if this course of action gets approved!

Can Will be spent on adding successes to damage rolls?  I don't see any restrictions on that in the core book...just the 1 Will Point per action restriction.

That's something else we can consider if we can do that in this campaign.

Thats...a excelent idea. And if Lucifer take Koa with Dragon Dance, maybe their combine strengh may cause a disaster in the direction of Seikamater! Even it not kill her, it will leave her wound enough for us to escape with everyone! Thats not a bad idea.

Not quite: Nathan will use Calam and Lucifer to free our Pokémon along with Dizzy auto helping without anyone's direct input, Shiva, Heart, and Ventus will keep Seika busy with our respectively chosen and buffed Pokémon, and Valder hangs off to the side either ready to seal up the entrance/make a chockpoint to defend to the cavern or bring down the castle with several Earthquakes. That's the general basics, if everyone agrees to them.

Rock Smash would definitely get through the pillars and stalax's. Only the accuracy roll is necessary.
There are no stalactites above, but it would be possible to knock some of the spiky turrets down onto her.
