"...thank you for helping back there, Ven...I...don't think I would have managed to treat them without your help...you were definitely right about lightning strikes being very similar to burns...heh...so weird to think about...a burn that could even scorch a Fire type..."

Kirlia's goes over to Calam and sits next to him to keep him company.  They're both rather tired after that harrowing experience.  Calam gives the Psychic type an intrigued glance.  He's not really surprised that Ralts evolved, though he is just a tad disappointed that he missed it happening again...

Kirlia also looks at Lucifer and gives him a genuinely grateful bow.  No longer does he have any doubts and dislikes about the bat pokemon.  The days when he got upset about Lucifer looking at that Clamperl Pearl funny are long gone now...

In fact, despite how tired he is, Kirlia's going to try to use a few Heal Pulses as thanks to help patch up Calam, Lucifer, and Ventus.  Just as a little thank you for everything they did.  And because they're also the three that got roughed up the most out of everyone during the course of that battle.

When Nathan goes to find Ventus to request his aid yet again, he would find him leaning against a tunnel wall a little bit away from the group with Raphael by his side on the ground, his eyes tightly closed and his expression looking far more....haggered and careworn as he looked to be intensely focusing his attention inward, his mind and heart still closed to the world. 

As they approached, the archangel perked up at the sight of the two and gave a tired yet still cheerful wave at them, before turning to nudge their father to bring him back to reality. This caused him to slowly blink as his eyes opened to blearly stare at his child first, then at the two people in front of him, before he remembered them/himself and straightened himself and recomposed himself, looking fairly calm and only a little weary.

"Ah, forgive me for my lapse in Alertness Nathan, I was just......calming down, so please pay it no mind. Now, what do you need me for presently?"

The researcher and his cherished cherub then followed them to give another check up on Calam and Lucifer, and gave his seal of approval of their health by grunting and nodding his head to the boy after he finished. Raphael, meanwhile, kept their 'demonic' counterpart company, focusing there care on them as they cuddled up right beside them, much to the devil bat's joy and thankfulness/gratefulness. Ironic that a Dragon and Fairy type could get along so well together, but with the ever egnimatic and eccentric Ventus as their master, anything was possible.

"They'll both be fine, now that they've been Stabilized and given the proper care. All they need is rest at this point to fully recover, and perhaps some Healing Pulses later on."

However, that wasn't the only thing the boy called him out for apparently, as both Ventus' eye brows were raised as they thanked him for services rendered earlier, before they let out a *Sigh* and they tried to wave it off.

"No need for that, Nathan. I just used what little Medical Knowledge I learned from my studies and......family to assess our Pokémon's condition, while you handled the actually tending to their injuries, so it should be I thanking you instead. Hmm....yes, Electricity is much the same as Fire at the most basic level, as both are essentially sources of energy and high heat that can easily burn and melt soft tissues on all but the most resistant or special of Pokemon. The difference is the form they take, and how they interact with the environment and beings.....it would be fascinating, were it not for the situation....."

Saying that, he finally noticed that Ralts was no longer just that, and had returned to his form of Kirlia once more, and the young scholar's comments caused him to blink a few times before he let out a weary yet happy chuckle as he smiled at all of them (Kirla, Nathan, Calam). "My my, even after the unrelenting ordeal we all went through, we can still find ourselves to celebrate and be overjoyed because of it. Hehehe....such is the nature of things, I suppose. Congratulation for your re-evolution, Kirlia. .....Though, I should warn you that your new form will attract even more attention from my dear sister Malphena, but I'm sure you can handle it peacefully without resorting towards less.....friendly methods."

He meaningfully glances over to Calam after he said this, before glancing back. Oh, he clearly remembered them very willing using their friend and his screaming banshee's fear of Dark types against her to drive her off into the shadows, and while he didn't disapprove of such treatment per say, neither did he exactly appreciate it either. Hopefully their 'playful' rivalry will abate now with this change between them.....

Kirlia's offer to heal him was respecfully declined, however, with Ventus stating quite clearly: "Save your energy for the others that need it, Kirlia. Some rest and I'll be back in shape, so I can do without....."

Calam lays down on his side, tired.  Just stickin' up for his friend when they clearly wanted to be left alone.  It's not such a bad thing in his view.  Though now that Kirlia has evolved again and will be evolving into a Gallade soon enough, he's pretty sure Kirlia can handle himself.  For the time being, he just wants to get some sleep.  He could use some down time from watching that Solosis...not exactly how he would have wanted to get it, but ah well...even Absol are not exempt from experiencing disasters firsthand...

Besides, a lot has happened in the past two days.  Maybe things will be a little different next time with Malphena...maybe.

Kirlia tilts his head and glances over Ventus, analyzing him...then nods.  Alright then.  He'll use that third Heal Pulse on Ditto instead, then.  He won't try for more than 3, though, since he's tired.

Nathan doesn't really have much more to say to Ventus right now.  Maybe there'll be more later, though...maybe.

"Only now I understand you devotion and love for pokemon is strong I can now see that."

Heart then look again. "I think I simple...tired about those fights we engage to each other. Perhaps there is a time where I need to re-see my concepts. Since...well you help me a lot too. More you can imagine. About my past, and you give me a north to where to go. About my clan...And I will never forget that Nathan Warren." Then Heart spoke once again. "And there is another thing I would like to ask. Well, more like a offer in fact."

Perfect!  Time for everyone to wash up as appropriate to mask their scents from those bugs, assuming the water is clean enough for it.

For Nathan, this downtime also means checking on Calam and Lucifer to make sure they're doing okay.  He has more time to do so now that there's no need immediate need to flee and stay on the move.

Nathan smiles at the scene.  "...yeah, you missed his evolution, unfortunately.  Good news, though: I don't think you'll have to miss when he evolves again.  Kirlia wants to wait a little bit before we evolve him into a Gallade.  I'm certain he'll make a fine swordsman...he'll be Night Slashing with the best of 'em (meaning Calam, obviously) soon enough."

Kirlia also looks at Lucifer and gives him a genuinely grateful bow.  No longer does he have any doubts and dislikes about the bat pokemon.  The days when he got upset about Lucifer looking at that Clamperl Pearl funny are long gone now...

Accuracy: 5 + 3 + 3 - 3 Exhaustion = 8 D6
Heal Pool: 3 D6 for Calam, 4 D6 for Lucifer, and 5 D6 for Ventus!

Oh, and as for Solosis, Herolune Ditto is standing guard over it currently.  Despite the 'type disadvantage', Herolune Ditto is still faaaarrr stronger than the little blob with only 1 HP remaining.  Just doing his job!

So, I don't think anybody's said anything concerning this yet.  Who's doing the night watch tonight?  I think Nathan (and Herolune Ditto, for obvious reasons) would probably want to take one tonight.

Calam gives Kirlia a quick nuzzle or boop, but he doesn't get surprised in any way.

The wounded Pokemon are doing fine. Ventus' predictions seem accurate - they'll be 100% healed in a week. They'll be capable of fighting tomorrow if they have to, with various levels of exhaustion. 

Thanks to Nathan's level of training, Kirlia is able to succeed confidently where a lesser trainer's Pokemon would fail.

Good to know!  Nathan will probably still be looking to avoid using Calam unless absolutely necessary, but it'll be nice for him to be able to walk again.

I can just imagine what Calam's thinking now: really, that's all the healing you can manage for me, Kirlia?  Ah well, at least it hurts just a little less...

Lucifer is definitely looking a lot less Pained now, which is fantastic.

Meanwhile, Ditto feels GREAT after that Heal Pulse!  Ready for that night watch for sure!  Evildoers beware!

Maybe they have some information about what happenend. I will also make research about the story of my clan and begin again from scratchs, and follow the same path my Ancerstor Ark walk...but I dont think I can do this alone..."

"...I'll think about it.  To be honest, I'm...not really sure what I want to do later in life...so many directions I could go once I finish my League Challenge here...it'd be nice to see one of the regions Cynthia calls home, though, I suppose...pretty sure I'd have to bundle up real tight, though...*shiver*...just the thought of it being so cold all the time gives me goosebumps...though I will admit, I'd love to hear more about these clans and their history..."
