And I must confess: I really really fear someone would die today but thanks godness the plan worked so good. Just for curiosity, any of you people have any similar encounter in Skull Ruins? You know, Legendary battles and anything?

My criticism of your criticism is that no one really bothered to discuss the tablets or anything. You could have put your heads together and got further. But that's fine, you guys found a way out that still hit the criteria, so that's a "Good job!" from me.

There's no way in hell I'm going to nerf a legendary encounter.

It felt the way I wanted to - overwhelming odds. You, Windos, have always disagreed with my philosophy that some encounters are going to feel more hopeless than others, so we can probably chalk it up to another one of those. The story's the thing.

This thing with a list of weaknesses you have to hit is how all Plot Device encounters are going to be from now on. Seikamater isn't godlike as some of the Legendaries are, but she's still a Legendary! She's a bit of a tutorial, really.

True enough, since we didn't exactly consider them all that relevant or (to me) to cyptic to be applicable.

Fair enough, as they are supposed to be obscenely powerful and nerfing on only my account is pointless/not good, but that just means I'm going to try and actively avoid Legendary Encounters or flee from them for now on, or do everything in my power to escape them if I get caught in them despite that. No offense to you or your battle (besides my personal dislike of it), but my preference is for straight 'fair' fights or fights where there is a 'reasonable' and clear win condition to them, not fights against Beings I have no way of knowing anything about them besides what little can be gleaned from clues/hints (Which I am bad at doing).

So long as we can agree to disagree and still get along, I'm fine with having a contentious opinion with your. We just learn to work with and around it, right?

Good to know, even though as I said I'm going to make a point of not getting involved in them. She's one heck of a tutorial, but I can see what you intended to do with her, and can respect/accept the Encounter despite my dislike of it since nothing really permenantly bad happened despite the stacked odds.

And from a character perspective, that makes perfect sense! A fair fight against a Legendary is bound to end horribly for a mere mortal, and almost everyone knows that! Ventus knows it better than most.

I can work on making better hints, so I thank you for the feedback, but you'll also know more about what to look for now!

I....I somehow felt that there's more behind these than the eye can see, and here's the hint that that's true, hah! I had Shiva mull over that somewhere when seeing that Seikamater, connecting it with the symbol and Heart's tablet. That huge Caterpie with a crown depicted on Heart's tablet among a Moltres, and that insignia of Zapmulco on the wall - they all hinted on a Seikamater, now it all makes sense! *headdesks from the realization*

HM clue: Delibird using Fly against some sort of bug pokemon (maybe a crude drawing of Seikamater since all the other tablets depict a Legend?)
Weakness clues: Lots of Delibird vs Zapdos (with the word WEAKNESS spelled in Old Unown) and Delibird versus Shedinja
Heroism clue: Weedle vs Moltres!!!
Pheromones clue: Delibird with a helmet/bubble versus Mew

I guess it does make some more sense now? I personally think the hints were a little vague too, though.

But yeah, that should hopefully give us a better idea of what to expect in the future...

EDIT: Also, poor Articuno got completely overshadowed by Delibird, it seems...

D: But....but...dear, that means that if we happen to get caught in a similar scenarion again, you're leavung us alone to deal with it? That'd berave us of valid and useable Pokemon (yours) and actions + resources (yours as well) and almsot forces Shiva as the unofficial leader/heart of the group to take things under her responsibility. And...while the Encounter with Seika was a hard one with a chance of dying (I've been scared, for real! So hoping that all will go well...), I don't really wish to abstain from more obstacles like this (ones without bearing instant mortal danger, preferably though) because there's disagreement over them. The side plots/quests that I really like has already been ceased because it caused issues, luckily I was allowed to keep my ongoing ones!
EDIT: And was granted another one, consisting of collecting Gracidea petals! Also Eevee-Breeding in the future. Thanks, Iron. <3

I was mulling over them for a while, tried to interpret them from various aspects, maybe I should have actually voiced some of these thoughts and assumptions of mine. It'd be a cool scene for Shiva, but it never happened. Maybe sometime there'll be similar opportunities!~

I'd like to imagine that once, before he and Silverfish became really good friend but were still working to that point, Ventus end up annoying them and they 'lightly' cuffed them with a claw to tell him to quit it. The result was that Ventus sent flying towards one of the reinforced walls of its holding chamber and impacting it with a meaty *TWHAK!* and causes him to pass out cold, teaching both beings a lesson: Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are really powerful, and you shouldn't take them too lightly, even with ones that you are 'friends' with!

Much obligued, Iron! Just wanted to get my feedback out there, as staying silent about something that irks you just means its going to happen again (maybe), and your reaction then to it is without any context or justification!

To be blunt about it? Yes. I really don't want to repeat a fight against a Legendary Being unless I have MASSIVE amounts of intel on them (Their Weakness List, things I can use against them that will make the hesitant to fight at full power, etc..) and can re-balance things against them, and even then I would outright avoid fighting them anyway since what is there to gain fighting a Legendary besides XP that can be 'safely' gotten elsewhere? You can't capture or use them without their permission since they are borderline GODS, they'd be outright illegal to use in most every battle besides against the Elite Four and League Champeon if you DID make some sort of pact with one, and even being remotely associated with one will draw all sorts of unwanted attention. Why would anyone of us fight one without a good reason? The only reason I didn't run from Seika was because she had Ralts and Slurpuff held captive, and if she didn't....well, he'd take Valder and Mr. Finder with him to book it. Call him a coward if you want, but I call him smart enough not to pick a fight against something that can turn him into chucky salsa!

You and the rest of the group, however, are free to engage in as many Legendary Encounters as you want! Just don't expect Ventus to linger unless they are proven 'friendly' first.

True concerns you're actually raising there, dear... I'm still/anyway feeling weirdly rewarded for having made it. Well, if only in the means that I got some hive gunk to theoretically hunt some Royal Jelly, outplaying a dramatic scene and an instant boost in XP that allowed me to  grant Shiva an unplanned third point in Survival.

If you don't end up joining, let me or us at least have some of your Pokemon and useful items shall it be unavoidale for us to step into the territory of a Legend, please! But that might also mean that you'd have to wait until we'd be finished to contribute directly again.

Huh, @Iron, WOULD be using a legendary Pokemon considered outright illegal in Chreshire if it's not kept hostile and forced to fight against its will?
