[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel

"Baltazar! Hold together big guy!" Arial say to his wise king, not taking off the eyes against Reiner. Not in hate eyes but more careful eyes. Arial make a serious face in the direction of Reiner. "Well, either way this round will end. Lets see what hit first: The fairy attacks of Baltazar. Or the Dragon and Water attacks of Yang. Lets discover this shall we?"

Then Arial looks to his brother barelly able to stand up. "Baltazar. Yang is indeed a might foe. One powerfull breed from his species. But...as much his sheer strengh is, power and physical strengh can be overcome by a strong and wise mind. This is what you taugh me so many years! Remember!"

Bealbeach City. 10 Years Ago. Tandor

Arial have rob another sack of food in his arms, running from two police man. He was running and running, but his energy was beggining to fade. Then he was out of place to go. The two officers begin to dangerous aproach.

"End of the line you peace of shit. We gonna show you what we do to little thiefs like you." He summon a Machop and hit the belly of the little child, barely holding his strengh. Some blood get out of Arial mouth. He cough. Then he begin to make a little sound. "Oh the little baby is crying? What a shame!" The officers begin to laugh. Then they hear another type of laugh. Its not their laugh. But it was Arial! "What? What are you laughting you little brat!"

Then Arial show his face and have a malicious smile on his face. "Heh. You are where I want." The first officer try to kick the little Arial, but then something appear in his vision. A pair of green blades coming from the shadows. It was the last thing before the blades slice his head, with full lethal force! Melchior was there, as a young Orchynx, but with deadly blades and the blood of the officer in his pats. Before anyone could say anything, a psychic wave come and hit Machop, sending him flying with a powerfull confusion. Before the other officer could send another pokemon, something hug his back. He see in his shoulder a strange looking Kinetunk with a cat face. Then a great eletric discharge.

Baltazar as a Cometeor come in aid for Arial and hold his hand to stand up. "Hehe. Your plan was simple genius Baltazar. Its like what you say: Brain beat muscles." Then the Kinetunk begin to shift and return to his form as Gaspar the Duplicat. When the Machop was still confusing after receive such attack, Gaspar, Melchior and Baltazar all attack in the same time the Machop and faint him. And Arial finish off the still alive Officer who was eletrocuted with a sharp knife. He rob his pokeballs and say. "Lets go guys!" Then they follow the path. Just another night...trying to survive in this cruel city.

"You teach me that Baltazar. Show your resolution. You have Wisdom Baltazar! And thats is something no one can take away!"

Reiner still doesn't comment nor issue any verbal orders to Yang.  The dragon is leering (not the actual move, just the act of staring menacingly) at Baltazar.

He is Yang.  The Lord of Rainstorms.  He will not be bested by a mere moon rock.

Reiner, meanwhile, is carefully taking slow, even breathes while focusing on the battle.  Though he trusts Yang to control his Outrages, seeing another one so soon after...well, it is still slightly unsettling.

The move takes a great amount of discipline to use without leveling the entire battlefield and killing the opposition after they've already been bested.  It is the one Dragon move that Reiner does not entirely trust himself (and especially Kingdra) with access to.  Yang, who is a well bred and well disciplined Dragon already (and who has known Outrage since before he came into Reiner's posession), is the sole exception Reiner will currently allow himself.

This brief flash of uncomfortable feelings only lasts for a moment.  He has faith in Yang.  Together, they are stronger.  And they will.  Not.  Falter.

The Gauntlet Round 11!

Before any of the Pokémon on the field can even begin their final climatic clash, Arial decided to slug himself in a mad fit of masochism brought upon by the utter exileration he's feeling from the battle!

Strike....on himself!
Accuracy: 9D6 Base Accuracy, + 2 Dice for Single Action = 11D6 Dice
(4)(2)(6)(3)(1)(5)(6)(5)(4)(1)(2) He nearly knocks his block off with that blow! Critical Hit!
Damage: STR (2) + 1 + Crit - Vitality (*1 [He's actually trying to hurt himself, so his Defense drops appropriately!]) = 4D6 Damage
(4)(5)(4)(5) Arial takes 4 Damage; 4/8 HP, - 2 Pain!
While this was crazy, their is a reason behind this madness: Arial's Masochism! He and all his Pokémon and gain + 2 STR and ignore his Pain, while only suffering a - 1 Defense drop!

Airmid looked badly startled by such a.....bold move on her master's part, and it was only at his insistence and command that she uneasily ignored his injuries (for now....) and instead focus on giving Baltazar a:

The astrological wayfarer looked primed and ready to unleash one heck of a last hurrah on the Lord of Rainstorms, but before he could even get into charging stance Yang's body suddenly became cloaked in water as it surge into existence around him, before he propelled himself straight at them!!!

Aqua Jet!
(6)(5)(6)(4)(4) The sparking serpent crashes into him with the full kinetic force delievered by his immense body, the Water of this move drowning him instead of helping him like last time! Critical Hit!
Damage: STR (3) + 2 + Crit + SE - Vitality (*2) = 5D6 + 1 Damage, but........
.......Baltazar is thrown clear of the arena and land into a crumpled heap near Asura, since the Move will deal enough Damage to KO no matter what the dice roll! They're all washed out now, in both the literall and figurative sense!

The Original Dragon slithers back to his former postion and coil himself up as his Leftovers kicks in and restores 1 HP, leaving him at 4/18 HP total. He still looks winded and exhaust from all the mounting injuries caused by radiation and space magic, but their is a distinct, sastified air about him as he cooly gazes upon the pile of (still living!) rocks that was now The Wise King, before looking away in blatent dismissal of them. He's proven his status and might as The Ultimate Dragon Type towards that insolent welp and one the match for his master, and therefore they were now completely beneath his notice and respect. May they look back upon this moment in shame and deference , know who is their superior forevermore, and know never to cross him again.

Arial's is now down to his last of the 5 Pokémon now that Baltazaar is out of the match, with the choice being between his mimic brother Gasper and scorpiobat ally Durendal! Unless of course he wishes to use Airimid's Healing Wish to fully revive one of his Pokémon, but again that will come with the consequence of most likely earning Reiner's ire again unless you both agree on it.

The next Round of The Gauntlet will began once that fateful choice is made!!!

Just after that ominous statement from the thoroughly incessed Arial, he swept his right arm towards his fallen brother Baltazar and cooly said "Airmid, Healing Wish. " The cleric fish looked surprised and a little bit hesitate/worried as you issued your command, as executing it would come at a great cost to herself and it wasn't strictly speaking necessary in a non-critical situation such as this one. That cautionary feeling was soon erased, however, and her expression turned resolute as she nodded at her master, before her whole body suddenly lite up a glorious, viberent pink color!

Healing Wish
Accuracy: Automatically Succeeds.
A brilliant white star shoots from Airmid and rockets straight into Baltazar, and her eyes rolled back into her head as she slumped over and Fainted! Meanwhile, the Wise King body pulsed with the cleric's sacrificial power, until it blazed back to life as they arose and floated back over to his side of the battlefield, with his HP fully restore! Since he was never recalled, his Initiative will still be the same, but he no longer has its Rock Polish buff due to fainting, so he goes before Yang now due to them having higher DEX from their Dragon Dance! Still is empowered by Arial's Masochism, though!

The madman just stares back at his boss as he crosses his arms, as if to dare him to speak out against THIS decision of his, which you both know is completely legal in all battle formats. How does Reiner react to this play of his bodyguard.......?

"...well then, let's see how you handle what's coming, shall we?"

"Kingdra, get ready.  You're going to be entering the fray once Yang goes down."

Let Round 12 of The Gauntlet begin, now with less support pokemon!  Yang is still Baltazar's opponent!

Your Queen of the Sea lets out a loud trumpeting sound at your decree, more than happy to head your command and drown Arial's Pokémon in a torrential deluge, before they hunkered down and glared at him/his Pokemon with all the characteristic aggression of a Dragon type. The contrast between her and the cool and aloof Yang couldn't be more stark than the mountain all the way in Sinnoh!

At this moment their are more similarities than differences between the two Blackthorn drakes, though, as The Orignal Dragon temper's spiked as the opponent he just defeated was revived just for the express purpose to deny him of his rightful victory. What didn't help was the fact that he knew that he would likely be unceremoniously Fainted just because he's too worn down to put up a good fight against them, which only serves to infuriate him more than ever! Two things are for certain within him now: that even if he falls to them he will not consider Arial nor Baltazar the victor of this exchange, and he was going to do everything in his power to reduce The Wise King to rubble once more.
