How incredibly cute. "I see... Fearless towards outter circumstances, but prefering to not get into trouble by disguising yourself? You seem to not only being cute, but also clever. But this trait of being unafraid against potential foes... This is a trait that's prominent in most Pokemon, but you being so confident despite you're so small classifies you as a dragon. At least to me, as you look like a cute version of the normally fierce dragons! You know... One day, during my traveling, I've been gifted with something for a job well done. I've been keeping it as a luck charm and to somehow reflect my special relationship with dragons... You'd, maybe....like to see it?"

From her stuff (after the regular searching and rummaging for it) she draws the Dragon Scale she obtained from a sailor in Corsage Port once, and offers it to this unknown Pokemon to sniff and hold if it likes. Does this...catch its interest? It's an actual body part of a dragon after all...

Oo, a real Dragon Scale. It sniffs the Scale, nibbles it, and eventually tucks it away where its tail meets its haunch. It seems happier with that than with the orchid.

Shiva just watches the smol dragon enjoying the Scale, and ends up being mildly suprised as it even claims it for itself like nothing. But the small smile the Pokemon gifted her in return almost instantly made up for that! "Aww, you like it? That's geat to see! ...It's mine though, haha! But...you see, there we have an example of the benefits you'd get if you'd come with me, giving me a chance to show you more magnificient things. You can even keep that Scale if you'll come traveling with me. It seems ideal for a cute Pokemon like you. I'm also having more interested things that you...hopefully may enjoy!"

"Maybe it does also help you to know that I've been rather similar like you at first? Fine with my life, enjoying things as they were. But journeying made me realize that while home is precious, I'd miss out on a lot of things if I'd just stay there. Things that I could only realize by this traveling. I've grown and developed in ways I could have not expected... And....as said, I'm sensing potental in you. Power... dormant strength... Don't dragons enjoy developing their strength further? Lil' one, won't you at least consider my offer? Pleeeeease."

With a fond smile, Shiva also very carefully reaches out with her hand, offering it to this unknown Pokemon to sniff at.

Shiva could feel that she was about to faint over the cuteness of this dragon nibbling her hand. It didn't hurt at all.

She also makes a played huffing-expression. "No? Now, I guess I need to teach you to not just claim things as your own when it's not, lil' one! You're interested in loot, however? Well then... How about GEMSTONES, precious and shiny and even too many to count? I'd bet they look good on you." From her stuff, a handful of the stones collected after successfully having defeated the ghostly Sableye is drawn, Shiva demonstratively lets them trickle down from one of her hands to the other. "Where these come from, there are way more. Shiny and sparkly things... Don't dragons enjoy to horde wealth? My wealth will be your wealth, and I'll look out for more to fill your needs - but only if you'd join. I'm not going to make a trip to gift you wealth I've gathered, and it's way more fun to farm it together!~ Look..." She holds out one particular stone. "This one's even called 'dragon's eye'."

When Luxi isn't looking, Shiva also draws her Almanac and holds it out to this unknown Pokemon.  Maybe... She didn't even know the name of this Pokemon, but maybe the Almanac can scan it and tell her? Why has she never tried something like this before?

"...well...I think it has some Mamo origins.  A lot of trainers like to try and replicate a ritual involving apricorns.  Raw Apricorns aren't easy to come by in the middle of civilization, though, so most only end up doing the poetry part or using substitutes for the apricorns."  (Ventus and Lucifer probably share a meaningful look at this point, yes?)

Nathan shrugs.  "You can also basically think of it as Valentine's Day, but for Trainers and their pokemon instead of romantic couples.  The idea is basically the same.  Kirlia and I actually got a spectacular gift yesterday, so I think the two of us are covered even though I wasn't planning anything in particular for us two.  Need to think of some stuff for some of my other pokemon, though..."

Ventus couldn't help but close his eyes let out a fond chuckle as the boy revealed that Ritual was a part of today's celebration, with Lucifer (who was all snuggled up in Ven's sweater atm) letting out small shriek of realization himself, before they let out a happy croon and looked up fondly/meaningfully at his brother in all but blood.

"Oh now? Well, I guess I don't have to worry about that after all. Its certainly odd to me that their is a platonic analogue to Valentine's Day here in Cheshire, but I suppose that makes it all the more amazing for me to learn of it! I'm curious to know what sort of gift you shared with Kirlia, though, as I vaguely remember the two of you seemed to be in especially good spirits last night after I woke up from my nap. As for gifts for your other Pokémon, spending quality time with them should more than suffice, and their is nothing wrong with give them belated gifts should you be unable to give them the care you think they deserve this day."
