That, and at least Valder (Stand on the Mamoth!), Shiva + 1 Other (With Tropius, if she decides to change her Pokémon sent out) can outright avoid EQ, Viktor can Phantom Force through it, Ven's Pokémon are Immune, and Ditto could certainly Transform into a Tropius or large flying critter so that two more people can avoid the quakes. It'll take an action to do so, but it would work.

How about we'll let @Nylon decide on his own which Pokemon and moves to use? I personally would avoid using Earthquake however to keep things - and us - safe, even if Cottonee is resistant against it as it sounds like it'd work, indeed Windos, but it's too risky for my taste. Climbing onto Mamo to avoid being hit sounds like an idea however, how much is on his back, Iron? That, and if I'd use Tropius as a mount during the battle, he'll still count as a third Pokemon being used despite receiving no orders, or will he?

I'm sticking with using Cottonee and Mightyena however for their own reasons.

*Sighs* I was only suggesting the most optimal course of action to dispatch these Renis quickly and without much hassle, and what little hassle is left could be minimized. Earthquake is risky sure, but so is using neteured Spread Moves or trying to play a game of tag with these Psychics while they can use cover and their moves to hit us freely. Only Malphena, Vicktor, and Haunter can outright ignore cover and bypass that big issue, while the rest of our Pokémon will have to make do with neutered damage or trying to Rock Smash the cover away, which could cave in the ceiling by itself WITHOUT Earthquake shaking things up. Then their's LS and R sponging up even more damage, and any 1D6 Damage roll is useless for 4 Rounds as a result.

Its for those reason's why I'm pushing for Earthquake to be used so much. It hits hard, EVERYTHING, ignores cover, and does MORE than enough damage to trivialize LS and R, while the Ghosts can play clean up and the rest of the group tries their best to stay out of the way/avoid the damage. Heck, if Mamo is large enough to hold two People, then all humans could get off the ground while all the resistant and immune to EQ Pokémon fight on the ground, so that's even better!

However, if you disagree with me, its fine. I'll just have to adapt accordingly....

You could squeeze three trainers onto Mamo's back, but they wouldn't be able to use Evasion or anything that requires moving around. Tropius can fly with two trainers, but he counts as a Pokemon.

I just thought of another option to get past this Reinics, guys: Just bugger off and go a little ways back outside their range, then have Turiel and Ditto Dig + Rock Smash a path beneath/around them. If they get into our underground tunnel still, they'll have no pesky cover and LS and R would have likely run out by then unless they took the trouble to renew it, and can be dispatched more easily. That's also a plan I can get behind, if fighting them head on is a bad idea.

Also, could Shiva have Tropius out but NOT give orders to them, and still clearly give orders to the rest of her Pokémon? Sorta like how Ventus had Tropius out by him, but only focused on ordering his own Flying types around?

Nononononono, @Lord Windos dear, you're getting me a little wrong as the risk of causing a freakin' CAVE-IN via rock-smashing the pillars has changed my mind about using Earthquake, I'd even say that I now agree to it.

However, somehow I desire to use Cottonee as she can outright ignore Light Screen and Reflect thanks to her Infiltrator Ability while Mightyena is chosen because of his STAB-Dark Type moves and lethality. At least he shall take part in this fight for one more very particular reason, but I could agree to swapping Cottonee with Tropius to keep Shiva and Ventus safe from Earthquake-damage...

OR I can lend Cottonee to someonelse to be used as a Pokemon so that I can use Tropius and Mightyena but we'd still benefit from Infiltrator. She loves Shiva much and might not like taking orders from other people (I dare you touching her), but she's not disobediant.

Sorry honey, I made that post before I saw the one you made in light of that info reveal. What I said was more of a general message to everyone too to better argue my stance on EQ usage, but I could have made that a bit more clear...

Fair enough on your reasoning for choosing those two Pokémon in particular, especially if Inflitrator can ignore cover entirely. Ventus will likely be the only one to stay on the ground, though, since his 5 Vitality means he only takes a max of 5-7 Damage from 1 EQ. Probably a better idea to ferry either Heart or Mr. Finder with Tropius, unless Nathan/Dragonstrike wants to get on board with my plan and has Tropius Ditto help out with keeping people up and away from the shakes.

Not if anything complicated is going on, such as falling rocks or attacks crossing the sky. It would almost always count as 3 Pokemon. But Shiva's idea of shuffling Pokemon around is a good one. Or she has 5 Insight, she could risk having 3 Pokemon out.

Mr. Finder has (if I remember correctly) only 2 Vitality and Shiva is somehow feeling personally in charge of keeping him safe, so it'd be likely him she'd take with her on Tropius' back if she is allowed to choose.

Nope, rather not if it can be avoided. But DOES Mr. Finder participate in the fight at all as you stated he cowers? Under Shiva's guidance she'd lend Cottonee to him and lets him declare orders for her fluffball. Depends which Pokemon you'd like to use, @Dragonstrike, as you haven't stated anything about it yet.

*viciously and with a suprisingly harsh force she slaps the filthy hand that dares to touch her with one of her leaf, huffs at the owner of the hand and makes a u-turn back into Shiva's safe and lovely arms, glaring in an offended manner from there*

Thank Larry for the trait that Cottonee doesn't like being touched/stroked from anyone other than Shiva, to Ventus she's friendly however if he doesn't overdo it and keeps his hands at him.
