Whoahw, lolz. That's hilarious, but I wouldn't have thought that it'd cause such an effect - I was just acting the way I thing Shiva would react to the Gauntlet begging to be touched now that the door's unlocked! Now we know we should never allow Shiva again to get close or come under the effect of any arcane force or something that's 'calling', haha.

'Hysterical laughter' and 'contradicting what you said only minutes before' doesn't exactly help say 'everything's okay!  No, really, it is!'

That's one of the reasons why Ventus reacted like he did, since THAT behavior just screams 'She's not okay and a THREAT!' Surprised that Nathan didn't comment on my character equally vivid - if polar opposite - reaction to The Gauntlet and Shiva's 'enlighten interest' in it....

...because I am dog tired of commenting about that stuff.  I do not want to comment about it every.  Single.  Time.  It's gotten old.  Real old.

The longer this journey goes, the crazier and more supernatural things are going to get, and the more I question how long Ventus is going to stay sane and how long it will be until he tears the group in two, tbh.

Why should he tear the group in two? One way or the other, I'd like for Ventus to be okay, and Shiva will STAY by his side. :C

That, and you still haven't really replied to me whether he will still be fine with sharing a dorm and quality time with her when everything has calmed down again and their back at the surface after that experience, @Lord Windos, worrying me somehow...

Fair enough. Ignoring him outright is better than negatively reacting to him, or have your character not fully empathize with his phobias and plight.

He won't break now or down in Mt. Sentry, but every man has their limit. I wouldn't go pointing at him as the sole cause of our group fracturing in the future, though I will concede he's likely going to be one of the biggest or most direct source.

We'll see about sharing rooms by the end of our quest. Can't really say now, until everything has a chance to play out and we all see the results.

I'd be sad if our ship would suffer wreckage and Shiva's first love begins to avoid or at worst reject her. Not even speaking of what results this would have on her! She has never experienced lovesickness and wouldn't really know how to cope. :C

But, it's not that I can't contribute that this won't happen and things will be fine and fond between them again... Or so I hope.

Because when he leaves or disappears, Shiva will likely go too, right?  That splits the group in two.  I do not like the current inevitability of that.  It shouldn't be, and yet it is.

It's not a story I want to read.

...I'd like to help Ventus as a character instead, but that's not going to happen unless he gives someone the chance to help.

I'd prefer it if it never fractures in the first place.

Honestly, worrying about just how badly Ventus is going to react to 'such and such that's even a pinch magical' is really sapping away a lot of the fun I've been having.

If Ven leaves in the future, I'd like for Shiva to stay in the group and continue adventuring with the rest. My character deciding at some point he's had enough shouldn't cause other players to leave with him too.
