Hoowee.  That'll be fun.  I can just imagine Nathan's reaction to the news now...

This is gonna be fun. Tongue

HMs are not TMs, even in non-legendary form.

Have you messed with one hit KOs in your campaign, Windos?

I can answer that: yes.  I specifically designed a pokemon to try and get Horn Drill off when I need it to.

It's been...interesting.  The dice have not agreed with it at all. But when it works (and Windos and I agreed to limit its usage to when it's absolutely necessary), it works.

Kingdra also got Guillotined recently.  That was...also interesting.

Yeap, several times in fact. Reiner (Dragonstrike's character in the game) has a custom evo of Rhydon that knows Horn Drill that they've (Mostly failed) to use to great effect, and I've made a Excadrill and Shiny Gligar with Fissure and Guillotine respectfully. If I recall correctly, one of the rules I made with them was that the Pokémon could only pull off one successful OHKO successfully per Encounter, and afterwards they would be too exhausted to use it again due to the sheer force/precision required to pull it off. This prevented both NPCs and Players from sampling spamming them move with high Dice Pools and trivializing all my Encounter/forcing me to find ways to deny it/take out the OHKO Pokémon FAST. I made it that way for all NPCs with Pokémon that know those moves, anyway, but I don't quite remember if I briefed Dragonstrike on that rules update or not....

Additionally, on Legendary/Mythical/Elderitch Pokémon (Buzzwole and etc.), I say that OHKO are only partially effective, the degree of which varies between what titan its used on.

I find it funny that I unintentionally created something that turned out to be more of a monster than what Giovanni could have ever hoped to create himself (barring Mewtwo).  Nevermind the fact that the Rhydon was originally Giovanni's in the first place...

You did inform me about that change, but I might have forgotten to write it down.  Though there was the single exception of Knight versus Dragons, if I recall...but that was a special case for plot reasons (even though I only got one off anyways because the dice said 'nope!')

I completely forgot that the Excadrill knew Fissure. Wow. That brings back memories...

There's not necessarily a point to doing so except to demonstrate the power of Celebi/the Gauntlet. But maybe you'll think of a purpose, or just something you'd like to RP.

Ah, thanks!~ I can certainly think of one, even if it'll be likely solely an RP-related one. Doesn't matter, I just like such scenes >///<

Concerning the benefits/things we can do at the Library, a few mechanican questions pop into my mind right away, but I'll bring them up to you when Shiva's actually there and exploring it herself after she has intracted enough with the shack, k? K!

I can't type up posts and reactions when I'm asleep, you know. ^_^;

I might sample some of those rule changes concerning OHKO moves.

I'm back. Meow. And just in time before a thunderstorm brew up.

Alright, looking into all the things we can do at the current location... There's so much to do and to explore, I'd love to spend a good amount of time there and investigate, like, everything please!~ Will split things into seperate posts to prevent chaos and enjoy all the acitivties without rushing. These rewards are also even BETTER than what we received for saving Stair City from the Vines in Chapter I! Have you already pre-designed them, Iron, or how do you think treasures and quest-rewards up?

Humm, the TM Library could be a unique opportunity to teach my Alola Vulpix Aurora Veil (it's TM70 in Gen.7) and make it an insanely bulky kitsune - now try to get through 6*Vitality and -1 Damage for all attacks while Hail is pestering you! Should I? I'm actually already soft-decided on three other moves for my Pokemon, but now I'm pondering...
