Heart together with Nathan have returned to Atheneum. He was so amaze he couldnt decided what to do first. But he heal his pokemon before anything just to make sure. Heart dont decided yet what move their pokemons shall learn so he will leave that one for last. First he make some priorities first.

1 - Technical Manuals: Heart decided to learn a lot more about Earthpower. Since they are inside this place, maybe the Earthpower help Heart in that Quest for that sword Ark have mentioned.

2 - Relic Library: Since Heart will need to recover the money he spend, he decided to try that Relic thing to take a Amulet Coin. To make sure it will work, I using 12XP to raise Alert in one point. Heart Alert is now 3. In total the dice is 9d6.

3 - He go to the Time Capsule and make a quick swap on his team to put Patrat in PC for now.

4 - Technical Machine Library: He go in the direction of the Technical Machine Library and teach to his pokemon a few powerfull moves: Gargryph will learn Substitute, Rose will learn Thunder Punch for a better protection against Water and Flying and Viktor shall learn Drain Punch to make him the ultimate self healer.

5 - Tome of Genealogy: That last one was bit trick. Heart decided to go ask how this Tome work to make him Awake the Blood of his ancestor.

1 - Heart gains 1 Specialty in Earthpower. You're starting to understand how every Pokemon utilizes it - even a Rattata's Bite is an expression of Earthpower.

2 - Since Ventus already sought out an Amulet Coin, it's less likely there will be a second one.

Heart manages to find another one Slaking wasn't aware of. Ventus' has a picture of Majungold on it. Heart's is a king you don't recognize but he's draped in jewelry and finery.

5 - Heart knows his ancestry pretty well! I suggest Soldier, which will give all ghost Pokemon +1 Loyalty to Heart, including Viktor. It fits with the Knights of his eldest ancestors. To Awaken the Blood, he just needs to telegraph his ancestry in a certain way described in the book, a way that Ghost Pokemon will recognize.

"Awesome!" Heart have returned to the Time Capsule to return Gargryph for now. "My friend, just stay in the PC for a while okay? I soon get check you alright?" 

Heart release his companion Gustav of the pokeball. "My friend, we are finally here in Atheneum. Our journey is soon get to the end. When we finish here, we are gonna return to Star City. We will get there find some battles and of course, get some money. We will need every piece to buy some items. I need you tol hold this for now." Then Heart show the Amulet Coin. "This is for you my friend, for all the hard work we have be doing until now."

Heart aproach the book and begin to telegraph his ancestry. "My name...is Joseph ArcHeart, last son of the house of Ark the United, the might Knight of Flames. I a soon of Sinnoh, devoted of the Creator Arceus and blade of the rulers of Time, Space and Reality: Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. Knight spirits from the ancient times, guide me though my quest. Old ArcHearts from the past, lend me your strengh to rebuild our Clan. And Crimson Maiden Ark...I not strong as you are...but lend me a bit of your strengh in my quest!"

After doing that ritual Heart decided to have a speak with Nathan. "So...care to tell me what this sword is about my friend?"

Heart dont feel very much different. "Well, it have work I guess. That way I may have a better bond with Ghost pokemon. Train Golett will be more easy I hope." Heart then takes his pokeball and release Viktor. "So Viktor...since you are a Ghost, do you feel anything different on me?"

That's weird - Trevenant immediately salutes you with a branch! He looks a little sad whenever he looks at you. You feel much more like you're on the same side now - ghosts no all about the sacrifices soldiers have to make.

'Kirlia' seemed to enjoy using that Attract!  Tee hee!~  'He' can definitely put 'his' Performance skills to good use with that move!  Though 'he' definitely isn't a big fan of being in the spotlight in front of a total stranger and working with this...lizard...why did 'he' agree to do this again?  Oh, right, to show off what 'he' can do for and possibly dance a little more with him...where is he?  Why's he taking so long to show up?

Obviously, Shiva can tell something is...not right about 'Kirlia', to say the least.  He's not usually this mischevious and shy...

Charmeleon looks a little frustrated that his attacks aren't making as much of an impact as he thought they would.  Bah!  

"It's okay to be frustrated, Charmeleon.  What's important is how you channel that frustration and anger, and not lose yourself to it.  Okay?"

Charmeleon doesn't really respond and opts to stare at the battle instead, focusing on his next plan of action...

Braixen's infatuated by 'Kirlia' and at +1 Strength, 5/8hp. Blaze is triggered.
Gothy suffers a Burn Lv.1 and is at 6/9hp.
'Kirlia's at -1 Strength and is confused, a Future Sight will hit them at the end of this Round.
Charmeleon's at 5/7hp, also blazing!



Huuuummm.... Weird. That's very very weird, and with a thoughtful expression and crossed arms Shiva carefully musters what seems to be Kirlia. Or probably not - I guess even without a single point in Alert but instead her massive insight of things she is able to eventually cotton on that this psychic dancer is not Nathan's well-known Kirlia, this exemplar here acts kinda different of what she knows and has seen of him. That, and since when have his psychic powers increased to drastically that he was able to fire off a Psychic? Shaking her head in wonder, she simply refuses to believe that there wasn't more than the physical eye could see. The question was HOW things were concealed like this and WHO was casting an illusion here. Illusions.... Concealing... Was it the Unovian black kitsune that was playing tricks here?! That's the only Pokemon with this particular Ability that Shiva knows... But.....when and how did Nathan get a hand onto such a rare Pokemon?

With a somewhat sly smile herself, she gazes over to her opponent then. "Playing tricks here, huh? Well, we'll see what is going on here soon enough.... Lilith, let us try something different then. Ah, and good job on overplaying that nasty burn, the Healing Machine inside Atheneum will fix that swiftly!"

At this point, the actual Kirlia pops out of his pokeball to observe the battle.  'Kirlia' looks a lot happier and more comfortable now that the real Kirlia is watching.

Gothitelle sidles up to Juliet and suddenly slaps her!

For a moment, she seems surprised to see Kirlia... like she still thinks she's Kirlia...then her confusion clears and the two can whisper plans for future performances or cheer on Charmeleon, who seems kind of surprised at the support he's getting.

(5)(6) Perfect! Gothitelle slips behind Charmeleon and bops him on the head. He heads back to Nathan a little reluctantly, but much more maturely than he has in previous situations.



Burn: (5)(3) No damage.
Gothitelle takes the time to psychically smother the flames in much the same way Shiva ordered during the tunnels of Mt. Sentry. But meanwhile, Braixen's flames are burning even hotter, until he is glowing with incandescent red light! When the light subsides, his fur has formed a wizard's robes and his faithful basswood stick is now an everburning wand! And his ears are soooo fuzzy now!

Congratulations! Your Braixen evolved into Delphox!
No XP for Delphox; it was all absorbed into hastening his evolution within the Library. He immediately begins examining the fabric of reality here. Something prevents him from seeing into the future with his wand, but he can still achieve the Wizard State and see into the secrets of the unknown.

Gothitelle and Shiva gain 3XP.
Charmeleon gains 3XP and Juliet gains 2Xp; she's most happy she got to do her little trick. Nathan gains 2XP.

"Whohoo!" Cheer up Heart when he see the end of the battle. Until the moment he remember they are in the Library. "Sorry^^" Anyway Shiva!" Heart and Viktor approach in the battlefield. "That battle was awesome! Also congratulations for Braixen evolution my friend! He is stronger than ever now!"

"....HAH! I KNEW this wasn't your Kirlia but some different Pokemon behind an illusion! Good trick, but the curtain has been lifted. Good attack, Braixen, I hope you'll....well... will get over the heartache soon enough..." Shiva's smiling in delight and satisfaction, but she also finds herself eying this weird birdlike Pokemon in wonder. What IS this, this who seems to be another user of the infamous Illusion Ability??

N....No time to ask that right now, as it was weirdly amusing to see usually calm and reserved Lilith outright slapping that Charmeleon for engulfing her in flames. Hmmpf, that'll teach ya a lesson, fierly lizard! But what caught her even more was that that flashy red light that could...only mean one thing....

Could it be?

.....It could definitely be, and it turned out to be true as her magical fox let out a very melodic howl at his Master in a greeting manner! For one moment, Shiva simply STARED at her fully evolved Pokemon. The next moment, she was right in his arms to enwrap him into an overjoyed embrace, affectionately burying her face into his fur. His fur felt incredibly soft and warm, and right now like the cuddliest thing Shiva could imagine. "Oh Braixen! You've indeed made it... We 've indeed made it... You're are full-fledged mage now, and a burning one on top of that... From the moment I calculated you being there in the den of Fireweed Forest I've looked forward to your dormant psychic powers awakening from deep within you...."

One last squeeze for Delphox and a thankful pat for Lilith later, Shiva turns to Nathan once more before she'll make her way into Atheneum again. "Good battle!", she tells him in a praising voice. "Thanks for helpin' out. If you don't mind, I'll get back in then... But b'fore that, do tell me please: What is this weird birdlike Pokemon of yours? Again from Tandor?"


Along the way, she also stops to lightly and playfully punch Heart into the shoulder.
