Nathan shakes his head again when Shiva attempts to answer his riddle two more times. "No and no. The answer is indeed a pokemon, though. The answer to my riddle was..."

"Not any specific one, but all pokemon. Together, they rule nature, and they change according to how She changes."
Ventus is probably either cringing or tuning this out.
Nathan facepalms when Shiva 'reveals' the answer to her first riddle with that hint. "...well, I suppose that does make a lot more sense...still don't really know much about Seikamater, though..." But he also thinks to himself: 'I think that riddle needs to be updated...'
As for Shiva's new riddles and Nathan's initial ideas..."Hmmm...I'm not sure how well some of those might work. Some good ideas, though...maybe I can expand on some of them..."

Nathan nods for Heart's first answer. "Yes. And there's a decent chance the Scimitars might not know that particular legend. Aotius and Mutios haven't had any popular recognition outside of Tandor in a loooonnnng time." Nathan's necklace clinks as the two clay symbols swing and gently make contact.
Nathan shakes his head in response to Heart's second answer. "Wishiwashi do rely on their friends, yes, but that's not what I had in mind. Their potential is more tied to mutual self defense and fear rather than their happiness and trust in their friends."

Slaking: "I don't know anything about these Scimitars except they sound like hooligans. I'll have to trust your judgement on that. But I can give you feedback on wording and such...as soon as I wake up from my nap. For example, I've heard the Mystery riddle before, so it's possible the mages have also heard it."

Heart thinks for a long time about that riddle. "A pokemon who grows with friends, but in self defense and fear...." Heart use all the cells of his brain until he finally give up. "Urgh I dont know. What is the answear them Warren?"

As Valder is exploring the library looking for the Croconawmicon, Theo finds an item that interests him. Two tapestries, one black and one white, wrapped around spikey crowns of the same colors. The white tapestry shows a kingly steel Pokemon, spikey like the Bisharp-esque etchings outside, blazing with light and being adored by a mass of Pawniard. Meanwhile, the black tapestry shows the same Pokemon, but cloaked in darkness and ordering Pawniard onto the field of battle.
Theo's eyes go big.

Valder realises that Spirit or maybe vital spirit might be the answer to his own riddle, as it makes sense for it to be Golurk's (a ghost) father, and that the ability would be vigoroth's vigour.
Valder longingly looks at Slaking's hammock. He respects people who know how to make themselves comfortable, and that hammock looks top-notch. "Nice hammock, slak... err, what's your name? Did you make the hammock? It looks so soft and soothing". *sigh*
