[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Sometime before or after Nathan grabs him to begin the collective hunt for information concerning the ever elusive yet imposing Genesect(s), Ventus approaches the Slaking himself alone, still looking haggered but nowhere nearly as severe when they first interacted with them. The researcher figited a bit, as they were not sure whether or not it was a good idea to impose on the wise ape OR utilize Antheneum beyond what he felt was 'safe and comfortable' , but eventually they let out a *Sigh* and , very quietly, decided to ask him A Question:

"Slaking...….I don't wish to overly tax you on simply my behalf, especially for something I'm not sure even exists......but my curiosity demands that I figure out the answer to this. My Question to you is thus: is there a Mega Stone that exists for an Arbok, and if so, where might I find it? I've heard mention that such a thing might exist, and I've seen the power of Mega Evolution first hand, so while I am naturally pessimistic about that claim, I can't discount it totally out of hand. I own an Arbok I have named Apsis, whom I've always considered her a dear sister of mine, so I would....like to greatly reward her by making her more terrifyingly powerful than ever before. So......does it exist?"
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

"Nathan, I've seen you journaling. Wonderful habit. Always wanted to get into the habit myself. But I should warn you: copying texts from the Atheneum word-for-word is a bad idea. Paraphrasing is much safer. All but the most powerful phrases from Atheneum are stripped away from their containers when Atheneum is left behind."

It is then Heart notices the little chip of mica he acquired from a Slakoth has sprouted words, sometime since he entered the Relic Stone. It looks like a table of contents on nearly-legendary rarity Pokemon: "Part 2: Gible, Gabite, Garchomp. Axew, Fraxure, Haxorus. Deino, Zweilous, Hydreigon. Sheebit, Terrabit, Laissure. Volchik, Voltasu. Part 3:" then it ends.

Gene Manipulation in the Time of Sarimanok - 1979 - Arbor Truman
"...the scientific prowess of Sarimanok having reached its peak, the King essayed to create a legendary Pokemon through genetic manipulation. His adapted Healing Machine technology, not discovered by him but perfected by him, would play a vital role in the revivification of the necessary Pokemon Fossil. Before revivification could take place, (a technology lost in modern times), all relevant gene manipulation had to be performed. Only in petrified genetic-material form could these subtle manipulations succeed - before the Pokemon's ancient cells were duplicated, before the legendary power awoke, before the permissive concreteness of the crystallized stone was lost."

"...the Great King searched all over Creshire and indeed with all his trading partners elsewhere in the world. Eventually, he learned he would need the Hidden Machine Dive, and turned his search that way...."

Diving Without Pokemon: My Journey - 1949 - Jacq Zangoosteau

"...without access to Dive, without Pokemon of ancient strength, humankind has turned increasingly to science. It was my faith in science which led to my successful test of the first SCUBA off the western coast of Kalos..."

"...my adventures became more popular, I began taking greater and greater risks. I followed in the footsteps of a great daredevil adventurer, a noble apparently held in high regard by Creshireans, and took deeper and deeper dives into Bromeliad Bay."

"...all unfortunately quite shattered upon removal. This led to many problems in getting my paleontology recognized. Having rejected my discoveries as mere entertainment, the scientific community never published or disseminated the Fossil research..."

"...a system of connected underwater caves..."

"...including hitherto unknown rock formations and Paleozoic-era Pokemon fossilized within the coral..."

"...appeared to be a swimmer of great speed, capable of rearranging itself into a speedy, disclike form much like an early submersible, possibly inspired by the same..."

"...adaptable, powerful, Bug-type Pokemon, one of only three Bug fossils known to science (although, as previously discussed, this one was not truly recognized by science)..."

"I left one last deposit, a large and magnificent specimen, three hundred and eleven meters in depth, 11 clicks southeast of the northern horn of the Camas Desert. Follow me if you dare, adventurers! Journey on my trail if you can..."

Conkeldurr's Conspiracies - 2009 - "Blackbelt Conk"

"As a type, Bug Pokemon and their ancestors have always been the most adaptable. Each limb appears throughout evolutionary history as an astonishing array of functional variations: the claw, the suction cup, the spinneret, the wing, the drill, the fist, the raft, the lance, digging tools, chelicera. Even antennae and exoskeleton morph shape to form horns, sensory organs, or the source of powerful attacks. Bug Pokemon may be found in every environment, even outer space...though the League doesn't want you to know about those! Just like they don't want you to know about their experiments in Bromeliad Bay, a joint effort with multiple foreign nationals! Your tax dollars fund experiments even an Absol wouldn't dream of them!"

"...the Heliopeople at the highest levels of governance acquire their steel from little green Pokemon in steel contrivances, landing in deserts all over the Southern Hemisphere - just like the Egyptians gained the rebar for their pyramids from the same source..."

Slaking isn't sure that last book is a reliable source, but the Library thought it contained something important enough to record for posterity.

Heart too makes a quick change on his team summoning some of his pokemons via Time Capsule: Caesar the Nidorino, Netune the Mudkip, Percival the Lairon, Typhon the Tynamo, Alphonse the Hypno and finally Gargryph. He open his arms and give a hug in each pokemon. "Hey guys! Its so good to see you all! Sorry for the delay in calling any of you. We have a long journey. How are you all? And also look!" Heart show his pokemon the place. "We have finally reach the Secret library and thanks Arceus they have a time capsule to reach access to the pc."

Mechanics: Takes the moment to enjoy time with his pokemons and talk with them. They are stuff in the pc for so long time! They need to strech their legs for Arceus sake!

Deep Mining in Creshire's Post-War Economy - 1935 - Tork Roark
"...the copper and zinc mines north of Borealis Road, and the nearby smelters of brass, were nearly shut down in 1919 due to poisonous emissions and radioactive signatures. It was thought the thick stone walls would prove sufficient shielding, but in 1928 they were torn down by a vast 'monster' arisen from the depths of the mines, perhaps some kind of evil and darkness-loving Pokemon."

"...Scientists lend little credence to the myths that the oblong pillars in the mines were once Pokemon or even people..."

"...foreman Stheno is on record saying the vein of purple and black stone is of no value and the mines will not be reopened...unknown minerals...no known uses."

How to Lead a Gym - 2015 - Gym Leader Davern

"...and it just wasn't fair. I said to myself, 'Where did this trainer get a Pokemon with 8 heads, and how come he has so much jewelry, even though I'm the one who spends his life exploring the underground?' Well, when I saw that vast slithery shape, my Rock Pokemon - notoriously slow - seemed to get even slower. The Ground Pokemon too. I resolved to win anyway, despite not knowing what strategies might be possible with this new Pokemon, but before I knew it my Pokemon had been flattened."

Ventus also finds a somewhat relevant book, completely by accident. He just puts out his hand and finds a cover so interesting he has to explore more.

It has no title, but the cover is made entirely of metal. The entire front is taken up by an embossed dragon - a stylized Reshiram.
Many of the pages have been illegibly smudged by Acid (all the text is engraved onto metal pages).

The Book of Reshiram
"The influence of Reshiram exists within every Pokemon in Creshire. This is not a metaphor, not High Speech, not poetry. There is a secret Truth locked within them, manifested in a different way for each and every kind of Pokemon. Twas Reshiram locked the Truth away, the Great Truth that no man has yet uncovered; Reshiram and another legend."

"This Truth is the key to peace, the source of harmony, and the origin of understanding."

"This Truth is the Key of Key Stones, the Torch of Mastery, the Secret Heritage of Man and Pokemon."

"Reshiram does not grant this knowledge as a mere taste. It is within reach, though no man has reached it. It is a goal for which you men must strive. It CAN be unlocked, through the lesser truths of analysis, research, and even biology. Reshiram...Light our way! Reshiram...fill our minds with thy vastness! Reshiram...purify our souls with the flame of Truth!"

Gargryph clambers up to the peak of the Library's inner roof, and soon he's crawling with Unown. Their powers work on him just like they work on the ceiling.

Caesar needs a little more room than this, but it's still better than being in the PC.

Mudkip heads straight for a pool. Percival is watching Theo choose a crown (@Nylon, still need to know if you want the black crown (Steel/Dark) or the white (Steel/Fire)).

Typhon is hanging out with the steel-type Slowking, while Hypno tries to learn how to knot a hammock.

"...hmmm...I'll keep that in mind...and yeah, I'm familiar with Conk...guy writes some crazy stuff, that's for sure...makes you wonder how much truth is hidden in plain sight..."

Couple quick, vague notes go into his journal for quick reference.  Dive, Bromeliad Bay...

...wait a sec...

...

"...well, think I figured out why Conk is here...guy might have actually gotten something at least partially right if somebody is Diving for fossils in Bromeliad Bay...the only question that would remain is who exactly...I doubt it'd be the League...Scimitars and/or Almanac are likely candidates for sure...and if Jacq is to be believed and nobody's found it yet, there's stil one intact Genesect fossil down there, waiting for someone with either sufficient gear or a Dive HM..."

...

...well, this is rather...interesting knowledge to have.

311 straight down
11 down and right of the desert's northern tip

"...from the northern tip...that's not even technically in Bromeliad Bay...if someone's Diving in the bay, they're probably looking in the wrong place...the fossil might still be there after all..."

Heart smiled to see his pokemons make comfortable in the libraly. He go in the direction of Slowking and apologize. "I sorry any problem noble Slowking. My pokemon have stuffed in the pc for quite a time since we begin that journey. They just gonna out to strech theyre bodies a little. They not gonna mess with your library I promise. Also I would like to requisite a few books to read:"

- Something about the Seven Knights who Ark once belong. I know many stories about my Clan, the ArcHearts but I do not know very much about what happen to the other six clans.
- Something about old legends of Cheshire.
- Anything related to Landorus and the Earthpower. I curious to understand a bit more of such power.
- Anything related to tales around swords. I want to understand a bit more about the sword my ancestor told me and it is related to her. If is her sword or another weapon.
- Any book to teach how to use a sword. If Heart gonna go in that quest to find that sword, he need to at least have some knowledge about how to fight with one. A fool with a weapon still a fool if he dont know how to use it.
- Delta Pokemon in the ancient and modern times. Heart want to understand even more about his knowledge in all many pokemons as possible. My Science 1 I will call Delta research who focus in reasearch about Delta Pokemon.
- Tandor Pokemon. Heart wants to understand more and more about the Tandor region and their pokemons. Even with his...bad experience there, he wants to understand more about the Tandorian pokemon, and because he remember something about a Psychic/Ghost pokemon there. In this case science 2 will become Tandorian knowledge.
- Tandor Region. Heart is fascinated with this region and wants to learn more and more about that place. Same place as Speciality in Tandorian Knowledge.
- Pokemon in the old and modern times. As a Pokemon rare Collector, Heart wants to learn more about the pokemon of the old times and from the modern times of today.
- Books with routes of Mt. Sentry. Since the Scimitars its in the entrace of Mt. Sentry, we will need find a alternative route to at least try to avoid those Scimitars. Alternative routes, tunnels, passages ways, maps, anything who could make them find any routes to avoid those Scimitars if necessary. Or at least make a path to ambush those Scimitars. At least Heart hope.

"Also, I would like to ask where we can find the HM-Dive?"

Slaking stops listening after the third book you list. He Yawns and you start getting drowsy as well. "I don't think you understand...just how crowded...Secret Library...get organized any century now... zzzz....."

You only get One Question.
However, you do find a book about swordsmanship in the Specialties aisle. Or you could make it Delta Pokemon Science.

Something sure does happen! Theo starts glowing with red light. He grows to human height, and four curving spikes grow from his helm, absorbing the white crown. His hands sprout extra blades and become articulated. His legs, however, shrink down to become stubby - they're basically just feet now. His torso becomes a white steel robe, the hem encrusted with blades.

As the light fades, further details are revealed. A jewel sits in the center of his new steel crown. Most of his body is white, but his regal eyes blaze with fire now. He's also got a kingly cape of flames over a light mail hauberk. When he turns to look at you, arms spread welcomingly, you see a new nobility about him. Tolerance and patience and tactics all seem like easy possibilities for Theo now.

His movement become a slow, stately shuffle. Most fascinating of all: Delta-Slowking, Perceval, and Turiel all bow to him. Delphox, Swiftfire, Rose, and Growlithe give him a brief bend of the knee or a courtesy as appropriate.

The Unown on the ceiling spell out his name:
