Heart also takes Nidorino, Delta Onix, Mudkip, Lairon, Crustle, Vullaby, Golett and Ferroseed to all learn Rock Smash. Can you do that @ Dragonstrike /Nathan?

Nathan and company carefully emerge from their hiding place to see if those blasted Scimitars really are gone...
...seeing that all the statues had had a chance to receive answers is simultaneously a scary thought and relieving...and also...somewhat satisfying in Kirlia's case. If those hooligans weren't able to answer that riddle correctly, they definitely didn't deserve to get into Atheneum in his opinion!
Oh, by the way, Juliet is still out, and is once again disguised as Kirlia. 'Kirlia' is definitely curious why Kirlia was so angry at that weird group of people...
I imagine Ventus, Malphena, Valder, etc. are rather confused by the sight of there being two Kirlia near Nathan, acting completely different from each other despite looking exactly the same. Shiva and Heart obviously already know what's going on though since they saw Juliet's Illusion trick the prior day/earlier.
"...let's hope they never do figure out how to get in..."
It's now that Nathan notices the strange dragon that Shiva has out. He doesn't ask about it, but he's definitely surprised.
Well then, back to reading!
Next thing Nathan wants to look at is...another look at that book on imported species that mentioned a little bit about Masking. What other rare species does that book mention?
He also makes sure to carefully review those references on Genesect again...having all the necessary info paraphrased and written down...once he's satisfied with that, he'll call for another group meeting. The opening line for this one is, "I found something, really, really important, guys. We need to figure out how we're going to want to deal with it before we leave."
Other imported or stowaway species include: Electruxo, Pahar, Cubbug (accidentally, on some fruit), Baashaun (very much on purpose), Ratsy (accidentally), Swabone.

Assuming this scene happens sometime in the future and after the meeting....:
When THAT twisty turvy time whammy happened, Ventus clutched his mouth with both hands as he hunched over, looking to be violently ill from the event, before he scrambled towards one of the pools of water surrounding and heaved out the contents of his breakfast. Being blindsided by ELDERITCH sensation was unpleasant for an empath as is, but when you are still recovering from Exhausting yourself and are feeling a constant underlying sense of stress/tension.....it makes for a rather messy reaction overall.
The sociologist spent several minutes heaving/dry heaving over the pool before his stomach FINALLY settled down to only 'mild' aching. He rouse from his spot by the pool and pull out a clean rag from his satchel to clean the vomit from off his face, put it away, until he clutched his head and winced as dull throbbing headache form. "......Just as I was beginning to relax and adapt to this arcane place, THAT happened. Urgh…..the sooner I am forever ridden from this odious local, the better....." Ven grumbled to himself, before going over to his hammock to nead his temples and let him fully recover from WHATEVER the frosty domain caused him to become so ill. Bah.....
Later on, he goes over to Nathan and politely request the use of the party's HM to quickly teach Lavitar, Marowak, Azrael (His Deino), Hanael (Numel), Scyther, and Delta Forrestress Rock Smash, swapping them all in his party to learn the Move, and then out with his previous lineup. 'He wants as many Pokémon he owns capable of using the move just in case the need arises' is the explaination he'll give to the boy if they raise an eyebrow at the researcher wanting so many Pokémon knowing the move.

Seeing how Valder gazes at them in wonder, Shiva unintentionally joins, trying to figure out from the previous run-ins with Scimitars to which element they've belonged. (I'm not quite sure whether she can, maybe by the simply color of their robes? EDIT: Ah, deep blue... She'd guess these are Water Scimitars.) Rather quietly and serious, she asks Valder whether "...You seem to know things about them we don't, Valder... Maybe once, when being back at the surface, you can tell/teach me how to recognize their 'element' by looking at them as well... There are more elements than Water and Earth. Could you?"
Valder looks at her, pondering on what to tell her. "I knew earth-scimitars were planning an attack on the library, Nathan knows/knew as well" Valder says. He scratches the behind of his head subconciously before continuing, "There are only two types of scimitars, as far as I know. I'm not sure about all the differences, but earth-scimitars are strict in their actions, water-scimitars are... not. Earth-scimitars often have organized groups, where the colour of their clothing means something as to what their role is. I believe darker colours means higher rank, but that's a guess I have. You interested in scimitars?"
Valder says the last because he's trying not to create an awkward silence, he doesn't know how to keep a normal conversation up otherwise.

To his credit, the researcher was one of the first ones to head Nathan's summons, still reserved but much less aloof after the near Scimitar raid upon the library, as he actually quietly/subduedly SPOKE to them instead of merely being silent. "Tell us quickly then, Nathan. If it a vital as you feel it to be, then its imperative we deal the matter promptly."

"...you know what it's about, Ventus. It's not something we can deal with right this moment, but we'll have to deal with it at some point, I imagine..."
Nathan first opens his journal.
"It's a well known fact that Sarimanok used to Dive in Bromeliad Bay. We never knew exactly why he did so, though..."
He puts the book Gene Manipulation in the Time of Sarimanok (Arbor Truman, 1979) on the table.
"...the scientific prowess of Sarimanok having reached its peak, the King essayed to create a legendary Pokemon through genetic manipulation. His adapted Healing Machine technology, not discovered by him but perfected by him, would play a vital role in the revivification of the necessary Pokemon Fossil. Before revivification could take place, (a technology lost in modern times), all relevant gene manipulation had to be performed. Only in petrified genetic-material form could these subtle manipulations succeed - before the Pokemon's ancient cells were duplicated, before the legendary power awoke, before the permissive concreteness of the crystallized stone was lost."
"...the Great King searched all over Creshire and indeed with all his trading partners elsewhere in the world. Eventually, he learned he would need the Hidden Machine Dive, and turned his search that way...."
"...turns out he was Diving for a reason. He was looking for the fossils that would eventually become his Genesect army."
Nathan then puts Conkeldurr's Conspiracies (Black Belt Conk, 2009) on the table.
"As a type, Bug Pokemon and their ancestors have always been the most adaptable. Each limb appears throughout evolutionary history as an astonishing array of functional variations: the claw, the suction cup, the spinneret, the wing, the drill, the fist, the raft, the lance, digging tools, chelicera. Even antennae and exoskeleton morph shape to form horns, sensory organs, or the source of powerful attacks. Bug Pokemon may be found in every environment, even outer space...though the League doesn't want you to know about those! I'm not sure much else from this excerpt of the book is worth much in terms of valuable information."
And finally, he puts Diving Without Pokemon: My Journey (Jacq Zangoosetaau, 1949) on the table. (and for added comical effect, Zangoose Ditto is present too while Nathan's reading this. And Kirlia is also hanging out with 'Kirlia' in the background, the two of them discussing/planning something. Is Ventus confused now? )
"...without access to Dive, without Pokemon of ancient strength, humankind has turned increasingly to science. It was my faith in science which led to my successful test of the first SCUBA off the western coast of Kalos..."

"...adaptable, powerful, Bug-type Pokemon, one of only three Bug fossils known to science (although, as previously discussed, this one was not truly recognized by science)..."
"I left one last deposit, a large and magnificent specimen, three hundred and eleven meters in depth, 11 clicks southeast of the northern horn of the Camas Desert. Follow me if you dare, adventurers! Journey on my trail if you can..."

"...meaning we should probably get to it first. There's...one problem, though. We don't exactly have a lot of Dive users...and this Genesect fossil is deep, deep underwater. (06-15-2018, 04:17 PM)Iron Wrote: The Tome of Genealogy stops at an ancestor who didn't live in Arrowroot, but who lived in Creshire when the first of the King's race moved in. Back then, the Mamo spread from coast to coast, and this guy lived in a swamp not far from Cress City. His name is Puawi.
Shiva finds a shelf of books all made from bamboo slats, mostly on topics about meditation. They're quite similar to some of the lectures Ventus has given. Behind this shelf is a big pile of extra bamboo slats, plus a huge tangled coil of the bamboo-fiber string necessary to bind them together.
She flings aside the slats, a feeling of excitement slowly intensifying within her, until she finally uncovers an unassuming green-and-white Egg. It's smaller than most Pokemon Eggs, which tend to be about the same size regardless of their contents.
As she reaches out, her hand tingles, a feeling similar to touching the Gauntlet. When Shiva kisses the Egg and strokes it, she and all her Pokemon are suddenly filled with chipper happiness, and she senses the Egg will stay happy for a long time too. The scanner doesn't even recognize this as an Egg.
And when Shiva rotates the Egg...it feels like Time itself flips with it! Everyone in the Library feels the sudden shift across some fourth dimension, like being on a rollercoaster while blindfolded. The Time Capsule sparks and throws up an error reading, prompting Slowking to sigh and fiddle with it. Your surroundings flash briefly, and you get a momentary crosseyed headache until a millisecond later when Time has returned to normal.
Slaking doesn't even act like he notices, but the Vigoroth and Slowking are a little discomfited. The Egg emanates a feeling even more cheerful than before, and then a sleepy little aura like the developing Pokemon inside is winding down for a nap. Then the Egg Teleports away to a new hiding place for a few more centuries.
Shiva wasn't even aware that there once were swamps near Cress City, and rechecking the map of the region reveals that Chresire's climate and ecosystem must has changed MUCH over the centuries. Today, there is only grassland, urban area and the beginning of the savannah around Cress City, apart from the ominous Skull Ruins of course. Taking a look at their spot on the map, she both shivers from the mere sight and wonders how the rins may have looked back then.
She also notes the name of that swamp hoodoo somewhere.
The finding of the Egg though - now that was cool. If these fine bamboo-slat books are able to tell her something about blocking her mind from negative emotions she'll make sure to given them a read, as that will be important the more her own empathic senses develop - Ventus has promised to aid her in that task. But likely not from the wording.
How weird that the Egg Checker wasn't able to even identify what CLEARLY looked like a Pokemon Egg - from the happenings though she can just crystal-clear assuem that it's indeed containing a tiny and valuable Celebi. Awww! Bless Sunday the 21th May as the day where innocent Shiva found what is handled as the mythical Holy Grail of those who want to make themselves a name in the field of Pokemon Breeding.
The chipper happiness she and her Pokemon(!?) were able to feel so directly from caressing the Egg went straight to her heart, warming herself neatly. Same did that brief headache though.
When all has ended she waves to all, Pokemon and group members alike, telling that "Everything's fine! No need to worry, I just found....something I've been looking for.... All's well! I'm sorry for your Time Capsule, Slowking!" She seems fine and delighted though from this event, not bearing any downsides or unpleasant reactions like Ventus there. Looks even that she will head into that soft-forced meeting with a little less foul mood.

We will problably have to prove our wortly in case meet him. A Glavinug I dont know what is. Problably some kind of rare Water-type in Tandor. I cant fetch with more of information about that."
"...from what I've learned about the critter, everyone who's ever revived one has altered it in some way. Sarimanok altered four and used them during the rebellion to...great effect, shall we say."
Nathan's turn to be confused. This is...very distracting from the main topic.
"...Garli...what? You're joking, right?"

(For simplicity and because I need to proritize things, I'll say that Shiva mostly indeed only listens and ends up tuning as things became historical, as she still doesn't care for history unless it may be very directly about something that interests her personally (which it isn't in this case). Speaking up is only the case if she's adressed directly with something.
She's also rather downcasted that the next travel seems not to be the south east of Chresire in the direction to a place where yellow flowers grow everywhere and sunset is said to be especially beautiful, and in her mind the glory image of Cottonee evolving gets thrown into the far future - but she rather swiftly overplays that in order to not cause a scene, and will abide as things are more important and dire in other places. The anticipitation of Earthstar Forest and rare/unique plants in Garlicburg comfort her at least a little.)
