A random shopkeep would give you less for the Big Bullion, but any Maniac or Expert of a relevant subject would give you full price. It's not illegal to own, but yeah they'll at least ask where you got it. Nathan does know the League has several of these, and a few rich people have some.
It's trivial to wire money in Creshire, if that impacts Ventus' plans at all.

Shiva wanted to visit the Museum as well to see the HM Surf with her Pokemon, so she'd be fine to sell the buillon herself and then wire the cash to Ventus. My, she'd be indeed HAPPY to do that despite the weird apathy she'll maybe fall into... But on the other hand, she'll be busy with other stuff.

I'm fine with that payment plan, as that Poke can go towards paying for Valder's Big Bonus for being a good mercenary with a little left over for Ven!
I'm fine with giving the extra 2 to Mr. Finder and everyone gets 8333 if we want to split it 'equally' for simplicity.
Now, the other catch with the Big Bullion is WHO we sell it to...

Lets see...3250 Pokedollars + 8333 = 11538 Pokedollars! More than enough to buy items and save a bit of that money to emergences.
And according to Iron, I receive some XP from the capture of Larvesta and we all receive some XP from the mission of the Aetheum. I gain 22 XP.
Heart original XP: 23 + 22 XP from mission/Larvesta = 45 XP!
Thats what I call a reward. Time to increase dexterity finally. More moves to use it!
