The offered photo she simply accepts, take a look at it and then...began to chuckle in an amused and adorable tone. That was just cute from Ventus.... She handed it back with a MILD smile on her face.

The request to find out more about her most dear Pokemon caught her off-guard and she blinked in suprise, the fluffball mirroring that. Her plans to make a small stop-by here at the Lobby and then head off to her dorm seemed to bite the dust right in front of her, but...it'd be all but kind to deny.

So eventually, she let out an impercible sigh and nodded before another mild smile formed on her face. "If...you like, sure.... I guess." She took this as a permission to take a seat at his table. And that despite she was partly still in the same clothes that she slept in and hadn't cared to brush her hair yet. "Coffee?" She shoved her cup to him. "What a...BEAUTIFUL name. I'll just call you.....'Terra', I guess, alright? And, well, you're right, I am indeed the one on the picture. Shiva, yes... Shiva Amaranthine, but the first name is enough. (Congrats, you're the first one apart from GM who gets to know her last name.) But before, has...Ventus made this folder for you? When did you arrive here, it's still early in the morning? And...has he....told you that I've been...eh, AM his girlfriend...?"

"*cough* Well, Cottonee." Mentioned fluffball perked up in delight and expressed that she wasn't just SOME Cottonee, but THIS SWEET PERSON'S Cottonee by dearly cuddling up to her. "That's... in short, a Pokemon from distant Unova. Have your heard of this region? It's where I come from, I grew up in the biggest city there. These fluffballs usually can be encountered in the forests of this region, but also in some selected places in other regions. This one here has been given to me by Professor Mallorn when I came here to Chreshire as my first Pokemon, and we became a heart and a soul rather soon. They channel Grass and Fairy energy. Usually Cotonee are, ehm... shy creatures and prefer to flee by shedding their cotton as a distraction, but they can also be incredibly curious and playful, as you've...seen yourself. Or...playfully mischievous, hehe."

Shiva felt like that was enough information as she didn't want to overwhelm him right away. She seemed a little hesitant towards Terra, but the ice seemed broken thanks to a particular grassy fae. How lucky! Outright stroking her mights still be a bad idea, but if things continue in the looong run...

His staring turned curious as she started chuckling at the photo and promptly handed it back to her, before he shrugged it off and put it back into the portfolio. He was instructed to show his future companions their photos and hand them over as a means of.....quick indentification, but if she wanted him to keep it, he would.

Patiently, he calmly waited for Shiva to recover from her shock at his question, but internally worried he'd accidently make another social blunder again until she rather forcibly gave her cup of joe to him and began questioning HIM first. This caused him to slowly blink a couple of times in plain surprise at such a turnabout and unexpected gift, but eventually he accepted the sizzling black liquid and began to quietly sip it as he responded to her own inquires.


Normally, he was more or a tea and fruit juice sort of person, but he was NEVER one to refuse gifts of any sort, especially if was an offering of food or drink. You just don't turn your nose up on generosity, or let food go to waste.

"Thank you. You have a nice, good name too. Named after pigweed plants, right? Call me whatever you like, and I will honor your request, Shiva. *A short pause as he contemplated your questions* Hmm....yes. Told me much about the group he was in, but said this would be a....'excellent reminder, and a method by which you can refresh you Knowledge on my friends.' "

His eye brows scrunched together as he quoted those words from the researcher verbatim. What a complicated, hard to understand mouthful. Wished they could have spoken to them in simpler terms, but alas, he knew that was the way they were and accepted it.

"Arrived in....Cress was it? Yes, Cress. Arrived here recently, and got in touch with me. *Nods* Said it was a nice....coincidence. I agree. Explained he was leaving group, ….updated me what happened to you in Mt. Sentry, paid me and gave me folder, and pointed me to the Pokémon Center you all were staying here. Been here waiting for a couple of hours since then."

In response to your last timid question, Terra simply nodded his head and said "Yes. He specifically told me to 'take extraordinarily good care' of you, and that if something....bad happened to you on my watch he would.....'let his Kingdra tenderize me and then serve me up to his Arbok the first chance he could get away with it.' Said this in a joking tone.....but his eye told me he would be.... very unhappy if I messed up. Could tell he loved and cared for you a lot, and only said those thing because he was concerned, so I did not mind it.....much."

He's carefully leaves out at how terrified he was at that moment, as he didn't want to trouble her unnecessarily. It was almost impossible to scare him, given his travels and great confidence in his/his partners ability to defend each other, but that researcher...…it was like he was in the presence of a terrible demon at that exact moment. He knows they are a good man at heart, or otherwise they wouldn't have become close associates with them, but to see them carry and use such darkness in him with ease...

….What type of life must a man live to be both saint and devil all at once? 


He didn't know, and he wasn't too sure if he ever wanted too.

When she explained in great detail about her Cottenee, he did as he usually did with in depth explainations/lectures: silently listen and do his best to understand and absorb the Knowledge for later use. Learning was....hard for him, so he had to put in the extra effort to made sure whatever he was taught stuck with him.

"......Hmm. I have a Pokémon like Cottenee. Her name is Genie. Sweet, but very clever and.....fiendishly devious when the mood strikes her.... or she becomes.....interested in someone. Taught her restraint, though, and she understands to behave herself....most of the time. She's good at heart, and my friends are her friends. May get....playful with you and others at first, but she'll calm down and adjust."

There was a period of silence after saying this, before he said with casual ease and bluntness "We need to battle. Not today, but soon."

No elaboration, but Shiva should understand why he wanted to fight against her given her empathy, or at least partially so.

Just to clarify, his air its a mess like usual, he is using black shorts, black green tennis, and his white shirt with PUNisher write on the front. And his Torterra bag. He see the new guy. Larvesta, Caesar, Typhon and Golett was out of their pokeballs to walk for a while. Larvesta snoozing on Heart back. He then finally aproach the guy. Heart too was with the egg on his hands. "Howdy Nathan, howdy Shiva." Heart see the what was right on the new guy. "Oh...so you might be the guy Ventus have mentioned." Heart still need to get use it to the idea. Its not like he hate the guy, but even that guy cant replace the place Ventus have left. He still need to acostumed to that idea.

Even with that, Heart decided to not fall to sadness. "Well, uh, welcome to the team I guess. The name ArcHeart. But you can call me just Heart. Pokemon Rare Collector, comedian and PUNisher in the free time. And unficial cooker of the group. Its nice to meet you." Heart offer his hand.

When Heart walked up to the table and casually introduced himself, Terra went through the whole process of giving them and their picture, though this time he was saved the trouble of asking for their name.

"Greetings. My name is Terra. Terra Sanaa Ismat. Its good to meet you Heart and all your Pokémon too."

On that subject, he didn't recognize ANY of the collector's Pokémon, and decided that instead of awkwardly asking them what they all were and eating up both their time, he'd just look them up in his Pokedex later. He didn't pull it out and scan every 'odd' Pokémon he encountered unless they were wild, as that also seemed rude, and he didn't want to openly display how....clueless he was.

Like with Nathan and Shiva, he extended a challenge to fight Heart, though this time he went into detail to avoid confusing them like with Nathan (and possibly Shiva).

"We need to have a battle, but not today. Today I fight with Nathan....hopefully. We both need to learn more about we and our Pokémon fight, give each other advice or help if needed, and to learn how to fight along side each other in the future."

He then turned towards Nathan and resumed his conversation with them abruptly, like a train going off its tracks.

Definitely a nice change of pace.

Forthright affixes Terra with quite a serious stare.  She's going to hold him accountable for that promise!

Gallade indeed doesn't want Terra to harm himself out of sheer curiosity.  He's still trying to get used to this himself, so he sheathes the blade just as quickly as he unsheathed it.  Fighting with blades attached to your elbows isn't easy, and can also be very dangerous for both the target and the wielder.

"This is your first visit to Cress City, isn't it?  While I don't disagree with your points, battles in this location are not something treated lightly.  They're only typically done for ceremonial purposes.  Well, and self defense if that's ever necessary.  They're not forbidden, but...you might get some strange looks if you have a seemingly random battle within the city limits."

Gallade gives Heart a respectful nod when the collector approaches.

Terra returns the fair or foul weather being stare with genuine soluminity and severity. Promises were meant to be kept, and food was never to be denied to others unless you could not feed yourself otherwise. She would get more treats from him in the future, guaranteed...

Heart was caugh off guard when Terra ask him to a challenge. "We barelly meet each other and already want battle? Eager to fight like a TERRAkion heh Terra? But I have no problems with that. I kinda curious to see what kind of pokemon you might have. You better be...PUNpare for my style of battle Terra, because you will have your own Heart out! Yeeey!" Say Heart showing why he is called the PUNisher. That smile do not hold for a long time. "*Snif* Ventus would love that joke...he always makes the best jokes..." From humoristic to depress...Heart indeed still a crap today.

Shiva will just get herself a new cup of coffee along the way back upstairs, but she does pick up that he doesn't seem to enjoy the blackish caffeinated liquid as much as she does. Now she knows and can adapt, hooray!~

She agreeingly nodded to the meaning behind her last name, smiling mildly as she remebered this beautiful AND useful plant before that smile made room for an.....IMPRESSED and WONDERING stare (not intimidating in any way) as she had to check the clock on her cell. It was still early (7am or such) and he has waited here for a couple of hours...? Whoahw. "Eh, I'm sorry.... Been just a little...suprised, but it's quite a thing that yu've waited here for us. This certainly speaks for you."
Mental note: Terra seems to be a guy who takes his responsibilities very seriously.

The opening that one of these responsibilities seems to be providing 'extraordinate good care' to her allured another amused chuckle, this totally sounded like Ventus. ......Argh, again a she caught herself thinking of him and had to shake her head faintly. ....N...Not right now! "I'm trying to not get into trouble, so I'm carefully positive that I won't cause you headaches." (Given his hinted enormous heigh, I guess Shiva willl be very fine to seek his protection in dire situations. Good call.)

The slight FEAR she faintly managed to pick up, and for her who was well aware how unfettered and raw and...... Eeeek, again! Eh, in short, she can understand this fear. Seeing such a chiseled and strong-looking man being scared was surely something... It was a good sign however, one that she rejoiced over. Feelings, yay!

Clapping her hands together in joy over the sensation that he owned seemingly another fairy, it was obvious that she'd love to meet her. "What a neat nickname~ Ah, and please do not worry about her being playful or devious at first as I am used in the handling of Fairy Types." A delighted and melodic chirp from her dearest fluffball emphasized this and her own desire to see that Pokemon. 'Must see, may I? Pleeeeaaaaasssee! Do want!~'

The request to battle though.....that somehow hit Shiva. She seemed to become hesitant and insecure again given how she fidgeted through Cottonee's fluff suddenly and avoided Terra's gaze. After a little though, she spoke up once more in a more serious tone, agreeing to what she believed was the reason for this ask. "I see.... U-usually I'm a little more hesitant to battle than the others of the group, enjoying different approaches and a having different mindset about Pokemon Fights. But, ah, I'm not against them, no. So, ehm.... I'm fine with a battle if you want one. Not today, I'm busy myself.... But how does tomorrow morning sound to you? Here in Cress City, battles are less accepted but we can just find a place outside the townline in the nearby park. Shall we...exchange contact data to arrange things and being able to, well, stay in contact? You're having a cell or a PokeDex?"

Once that has been arranged, she is fine to leave him alone again but will stay and respond if wanting to know more. First Impression: Quite positive. A direct and blatant guy but seems true and honest.

I'll flashforward a little if that's alright, @Iron. Next: A few interactions with her Pokemon which will involve First Encounter Slot.


Having gathered another cup of coffee and waved this new guy...what was his name aga... AH! Right, Terra!... on her way back upstairs to her dorm, she closed the door again behind herself, leaning against it while taking a deep breath. She may not have expected to meet whoever Ventus hired SO early, but....maybe it was better this way. She let her head hang a little upon catching herself thinking of him AGAIN, but Cottonee leaping forward to place herself onto the pillow of the bed again distracted her rather well.

She still wishes to stay in for a little, taking it slow and not overwhelm herself with things. Serving breakfast to all her current Pokemon (dry food alongside the usual dried berries) while she kept herself occupied with decorating the room again with dreamcatcher and stuff was a good start and elevated her mood again additionally.

Once finished, she beckons Raphael to her side, having a carefully welcoming expression on her face. How is the archangel doing and how does he react to HER being the one having summoned and feeded him? Ven said he knows, but....
