[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel

Reiner still has plenty of time left before the 3rd Encounters start, so he could either go to Proton and give him that long awaited report on those incidents of yours days prior, or go to one of the Free Encounter Places to pass the time until then. Or actually hit up one of the many festival games and see what you could get out of it. In a way, it was like Arial said: just because you were on the job didn't mean you couldn't afford to screw around a bit, if able.

Well, the Proton thing ain't happenin' until Reiner is...well, himself, so...and the Free Encounter stuff is mostly just shops that can always be visited later...

Yeah, she's mostly just waiting for that Gender Fluidizer to recharge.  I suppose taking some time to enjoy some of the festivities wouldn't be terrible...besides, it's not like any of the other Executives could tell her off for goofing off when they probably have no idea that she's the person they're supposed to be watching.

The only questions that remain are what's available and how much can be fit in before the end of the 2nd encounter.

Flower Festival Play Time Options!

The Festival may be coming to its close, but that doesn't mean their isn't plenty of time left to just have some FUN for once!

The High Striker!: The classic Strength testing game, only in the design of a tall sakura tree with big heavy wooden Mallets! Roll for thiss is Strength + Fight + Brawl, and every success grants you $150 Poke! Score high enough, and get your choice of Items or possibly a Rare Pokémon! Drugs could help, but there's a chance you'd get caught and banned from the competition without a prize!

Vine Balance!: A think, braided rope spans a looooong pool of water that has markers within it, with an end podium with a sign saying 'Winner!' . Roll for this is Vitality + Survival + Atheletics, with 5 Success pulling off this attraction and gain $1500 Poke. You could also go double or nothing and attempt to go back with a - 1 Dice Penalty to either gain twice that Poke, a Rare Item, or a Rare Pokémon! A Tailwind from Aerodactyl would give a + 2 Successes, but you are prevented from doing a Double or Nothing Run and are bared from the game after getting your prize.

Knockout Shooting!: Just a squirt gun, and few moving Fire type targets, and a score system to keep track! Roll is DEX + Fight + Alert, and every Success beyond 3 gives you $250 Poke per success! Getting 9 or more Success will net you a Grand Prize or a Rare Pokémon! Can cheat on this with the Riot Gear Helmet to gain + 2 Success on the Roll, but your not allowed to attempt the attraction again from then on.

Flower Power Contest!: A simple trivia contest concerning various flowering plants and Pokémon! Roll is Insight + Knowledge + Nature/Knowledge: Plant Biology ; Anything below 4 Success is a Failure of gaining anything but a Consulataion Prize/Poke, with 4th Place = 4 Successes, 3rd = 6 , 2nd = 8 Success, 1st Place or Higher = 10 + . Every place has a $1000-$4000 Poke prize tied to it, and winning the competition nets you a choice of a Rare Item or Rare Pokémon! 


You can cheat on this competition with either your Felines/Ridia's help by snooping out the right answers from others, with each of them out adding + 2 Success to your Rolls, but a Pickpocket Roll + Penalty will be added to see if anyone else catches you getting up to shenanigans! Metagross would also add a + 2 Success your roll, but they have to be convinced its worth their time to do so. Of course, since your Clair, those options but Weavile don't work too well, but you could also try scaring away the competition with an Strength + Fight + Intimidation , which lowers the Successes required to win prizes depending on how many you make turn tail and flee!

Pastime!: Just forgo games, grab some drinks and snacks, and wander around enjoying yourself. No prizes, but you do get 1 Willpoint for doing this the first time, and its easier for Weavile to Pickpocket stuff in the thick crowds (Though the consequences of failure go up accordingly).

For you efforts, you receive $900 Poke, and your choice between a Super Potion or Sitrus Berry (Plain) as additional bonus for getting halfway their!

You spent the rest of your Encounter goofing around the High Striker, chuckling to yourself or whistling at the efforts of other people as they tried to ring the bell, but thus far nobody managed the feat. Oh well, better luck next time, eh?

Additionally, he has meet up with Riza by this point, and has a GTH Beedrill in a plain Pokeball, ready for transport and trade! Riza is nowhere to be seen around Arial. (Not sure if you are going to send her off to look for a Bug/Steel type, or just have her accompany the group from the shadows). With the 3rd Encounter, Spiritmon is now free to participate in my game once more!
- *Beep!* The Gender Fluidizer is ready to make a man out of you, just like the Dragon Gods intended!
- *Brzzzzt!* Off goes your phone on vibrate, and once you retrieve it and find the message: 'Its done. Meet me in front of the A.V. ', before the text deleted itself. 
- Lindworm is now waiting around in front of the A.V. , back pressed against one of the walls on the outside.

Now then...Fluidizer first in someplace private!  That's the first thing that needs to be taken care of, period, or none of what follows is going to go well at all.  Before doing so, though, is it possible to quickly unlock the Divine Water, Dragon Fang, and Dragonium Z Assault Vest so he can potentially use them without needing to be 'Clair'?  (If that'd take too much time since we're on a tight schedule/isn't possible at that exact moment, though, we'll do without for now.  Or would it be fine if Reiner did this during her little break, since she didn't have much better to do at the time besides eye the occasional High Striker participant?  Side note: Ew, the pronouns are getting is getting confusing already...)

Second, gotta head to the A.V. pronto.  Got two people waiting there who are expecting Reiner to be extra prompt.  Probably safe to assume that Reiner accounted for this when arranging the trade for Frosslad with Fluidity, right?

- Merchant is probably the one Reiner will end up encountering first, yes?  And it probably won't take too long to do the various exchanges if the conversation is kept brief, right?  Gotta both get Mew back and potentially make some purchases.  Plus inquire about how much a King's Rock and a Destiny Knot would cost.
- Weavile gets sent ahead to meet Lindworm while Reiner is dealing with the Merchant so Lindworm knows that Reiner is nearby and knows not to go anywhere.

In the track of the Bug/Steel pokemon? (You say you would roll a dice to see if Reiner find something) And any problem when you go to the hive of Beedrills?"

"Also there still a chance to return the track of that Bug/Steel Pokemon Riza? We soon gonna go to the Nuclear Factory and would be very much important to you not go unprotect. If you this would help, I would go with you for better find with you. Two heads is better than one as they say."

It is indeed possible to remove all those Items except the Dragonium Z Assault Vest during your Free Time, due to the practical reason that the Dragonium Z would disappear once removed since you don't have a Perma DZ on you, rending it just a plain Assault Vest until you install another Z Crystal in it. Kingdra and Dragonite seem a bit confused as to why you are removing their Items (and several people start vacating your surroundings at the sight of such TOUGH DRAGONS, but they easily comply with your request. Clair's Will is there own, so they comply with no questions asked!

Once you hear the 'Beep!' of the Gender Fluidizer, you hastily and discretely leave the High Striker and make your way into one of the MANY dark, vacant alleyways in Celadon. From there, you zap yourself back into a MAN, physically feeling no different from before but no doubt feeling MUCH better psychologically speaking! No more parading around as your dead? half-sister for you! G.F. is now recharging, can not be used until Encounter 4.

(For convenience shake, let's just say that Reiner did account for the time, or Fluidity is a remarkably patient person and is willing to wait around for a bit.)

Upon release Weavile is swift to give you a confused/befuddled look, wondering just WTF happened to you during the last Encounter, before he *Sighs* and shrugs it off as yet another wacky thing that happened during the Flower Festival and did as you ordered. Man, when will all that madness and malarkey end, and him + his partner can just get back to their less insane/stressful life as law unabiding citizens..... Presumably, you also hand a note to the black feline to give to Lindworm telling him to hold on, as while he's a clever kitty he hasn't quite mastered speaking humanese (Yet....) and pantomiming only goes so far!

Meeting with the Merchant.....well, you don't see them in front of the A.V. at all (Though you do see Weavile currently keeping Lindworm distracted/busy) , but when you turn around to go look in the alleys surrounding the ritzy hotel a sudden woozy sensation befalls you.....

…before you find yourself standing in front of the enigmatic businessperson themselves IN a alleyway, staring at you with cool, calm, and those unnerving yellow eyes of theirs's. How in the world....did they Teleport you to them, or something? Just....what did they do....what are they capable of.....what ARE they.....?

"Reiner."

You are snapped out of your daze at their smooth, crisp, and sensuous declaration of your name. They hold your gaze for what seemed like an eternity, before they withdrew their arms from their sleeves and revealed Mew's Greatball in their left hands. With a flick they toss it to you, which you deftly snatched out of the air. Mew returned....new and 'improved'. 

"Here ya go. Mew, all 'better' now, and ready to move on with her life, whether she wants to or not. 'Course, she's not at all in the best moods now due to the operation- or any at all really -so for your shake I hope you are prepared to deal with a 'sugar free' Pixie Sticks. If your not.....well, these next few months are going to make you plenty misssserable enough to make up for her inability to feel horrible herself."

The Merchant then concealed their arms once more (Not before you got a look at their fingernail color, though: Jet Black) and let out a heavy, almost graveling *Ssssigh* as they tilted their head down and shook it, before looking back towards you with 'normal' colored eyes.

"Alright, if you have any other business you want done, say it now and I'll see what I have and can do, but otherwise I'm leaving and calling it for the day. I'm tired in more than one way after working on 'fixing' Pixie Sticks problem, and I frankly just want to luxuriate by drinking myself into a stupor and sleeping like the dead. Well, Reiner?"

Asking about the prices for both a King's Rock and Destiny Knot, they are quick to tell you both cost $5500 Poke each. If asked WHY they cost so much, they state that a King's Rock is a valuable Battle Item AND Evo. Item for at least known Species of Pokémon (Wyvreon doesn't count yet, since its still mostly a secret species), and the Destiny Knot is highly useful in Breeding as well as special rituals and Weddings.

Flashback - Your Dreams

Darkness. Nothing but utter and complete Darkness. That is what greeted Arial as he decided into the realm of dreams. A familiar sight and experience, as he only been here just yesterday after his.....explosive run in with that precious Delta Muk. Fortunately, he didn't have a stroke in his sleep and passed slightly in the night, oh no!

Unfortunately for him, though he sooned realized his dreams where not going to be sweet as MY gaze appeared and befell his form.

"Hehehehe…...I see you've found your way back to my domain, Schrödinger. Did you find my bedside manner so pleasant the last time that you had to meet with me again? My my, how flattering!"


I let out a heartly laugh as I looked down upon the poor madman, who no doubt was sweating fervorously at his good fortune of meeting with me again! After all, I AM the most charming of the gods, hehehehe!

"Well, I'm afraid I can't entertain you this night, as I am just inundated the upkeep of some other pet projects of mine, but worry not, for I have a dream for you that you'll find quite.....Insightful and enlivening. Enjoy, little jester, hehehehehehehe…….!"

With that said, I banished them from my black realm, the very last thing they saw was my glowing, amused eyes.....

Your vision hovers across the green, lush treetops, until you spot a clearing that seemingly came out of nowhere, and from the looks of it the place seemed almost blasted into existence. At that point, you saw what appeared to be a tiny spec sitting in the middle ofthere, and soon you found your perspective zooming all the way up and close to get a better view of them. 

What you saw was.....perplexing, even for a Insane person such as yourself.

Sitting on a stump, was a small little girl, appearing no older than ten or eleven years of age. She was wearing what looked to be an classical and old royal purple satin dress festooned with white frills on its trim, and had a pair of pearly white slipper shoes on her feet as they dangled off into the air. Her hair was the color of pure gold, and was in twin tails tied up with Red/Dark Purple Inside them Bead Scrunchies. She had rich, warm brown eyes that stared at an a journel she was currently doodling in, her skin was smooth, unblemished, and slightly tanned, and her nails painted purple.

Overall, this little girl appeared to be slightly anachronistic, but normal otherwise.

What ruined this was that her ENTIRE surrounding seemed like they were utterly DESTORYED, yet she was completely and utterly unharmed, and in fact looked rather radiantly happy as they scribbled something or another in that book of theirs. The large sniper rifle that hung on their back also didn't help make this image seem any less bizaare:




In fact.....the more you look at it, the more its seemed.....familiar to you, somehow. The color, the design, and that faint aura you could FEEL from it....it all just seemed to tickle you broken brain at how ODD yet NORMAL and KNOWN to you.....

When the little girl jolted up to stare at YOU, and you suddenly found the sniper rifle being pointed straight at YOU, you realized just WHAT you were staring at, as you read the OTHER golden inscription that was hidden to you before:

Uh oh.

Just when you though you'd be getting a sniper facial from the now extremely dangerous girl, she suddenly perked up and gave you a charming, perky, and extremely exuberant smile, putting away her CA faster than you could comprehend as she waved at you.

"A Cursed Arm Wielder! Hello~! Its been soooooo long since I've meet with another one!  I'm so happy to see you, yay!!!'

"….Ooooooh, and you have T.P.K with you too. *Looks sad for a moment, before going right back to happy like nothing happened* Hopefully my child Juliet found her crush before you killed her, or had lots of fun with it if she didn't! My gift to her wouldn't mean much of anything otherwise, te he~!"

"Hmm.....since you own T.P.K., I guess that make you my child now! Goody~!! Momma Alice gonna to pay you a visit to see how your doing REALLY soon, so don't fret! I'll even bring some more toys and gifts for you to play with! Maybe a stuffed kitty cat, or some Moo Moo Milk? 'Cause with a name like Schrödinger, you must LOVE kitty cats! Meow meow~!"

"Te he....I'll find something nice for you and your.....friend? Yes yes, you DO have a friend, and THEY have a Cursed Arm TOO! I can FEEL it, and it feels so WONDERFUL~!!! Ahahahaha! Another child for me to dote on, horray! Shopping for them is gonna be difficult, but I'll find the right present for them! Two new, special children of mine....oh, I'm sososo HAPPY."

At that point the girl named Alice reached forward with tender, MAD affection in their eyes and smile, and you then blacked out.

With Riza company and with the Beedrill on hands Arial spoke again. "Thank you for bringing the Beedrill Riza! And...sorry about make you change the focus on your mission to get the Bug/Steel Pokemon. It was a emergency on the moment. There was any problem on the mission? In the track of the Bug/Steel pokemon? (You say you would roll a dice to see if Reiner find something) And any problem when you go to the hive of Beedrills?"

"Also there still a chance to return the track of that Bug/Steel Pokemon Riza? We soon gonna go to the Nuclear Factory and would be very much important to you not go unprotect. If you this would help, I would go with you for better find with you. Two heads is better than one as they say."

For the record, Riza seemed a bit more.....nervous and timid around Arial upon returning to his side (presumably in a hidden away enough local) with the GTH B. in Pokeball, no doubt due to lingering feelings from her.....slight panic and promptness to start her given task last night. The reformed Vampire was quick to warm right back up to you after your kind thanks and concern, with her smiling shyly at you and blushing ever so slightly. Which, given she was wearing her cloak and cowl, was something you could only infer based on her more relaxed body language and what you know of her.

She didn't mind being pulled from her mission, ESPECIALLY if it was for something else important that needed to be done for Arial and The Darkness. She placed a great deal of value and trust in you after all the care and affection you've gave her (which she's still trying to fully wrap her head around...), while she DIDN'T want to cross ever again (nonononoNO!) so changing plans wasn't a bother. Plus, they were YOUR plans to begin with, so any alterations in them by you were perfectly okay in her buzzing books!

Your next few questions were meet with several negatory shakes of her head. No Bug/Steel types were found, she had no problems in the GTH Hive (In fact, her gestures where more chipper/upbeat their mention), and your help wasn't necessary in her finding a new bugaboo for her team. However, she DID nod confirm she could resume her search for a Bug/Steel type right away, but was.....apprehensive about letting you go explore/raid the NRF by yourself. The Bug Lady very well knew the dangerous of all things green and glowing, and the though of you confronting those Corrupted Nucmons without her by your side.....it discomforted and worried her greatly.
