Without taking her arm from her eyes/let go of Cottonee and Terra, she gave Heart a notably harsh stare, even if obscured a portion of intmidation played along in it. "Please do NOT call him names, Heart. He doesn't....deserve it, and he and Theo seem happy."

Terra, unlike everyone else, was a somewhat taken aback but not devastated when Valder suddenly departed from the group with grace and flair. He didn't know mercenary nearly as well as the other long established member of this band of adventurers he agreed to become a part of and defend, so his absence didn't affect him severely. '....Good bye and good luck, Valder. May you have safe travels, good journeys, and a nice life...'

He WAS caught off guard, however, when his Boss' girlfriend ended up slumping into and start cuddling him as form of support. His head twisted downwards as he quickly shot the grieving lady pressed against a look of faint surprise and confusion, as he both didn't know why she choose him for solace nor really knew what to do about it. Social grace and congeniality was sorely lacking for a mountain of the man like him, and to compound things he had almost zero experience comforting sad/angry women- he usually went out of his way to avoid and/or not cause such things, frankly.

In the end, Terra decided the best course of action was to give Shiva a couple of pats on the back and let her stay like this for so long as she wants, looking slightly awkward and uncertain while doing so, but ultimately maintaining his usual stoic calm. Simplicity is the best in his experience, and nothing really is simpler as being there for someone in need. Hard to screw THAT up, at least.

They say it's possible to keep climbing down through them, layer after layer, but each major layer has some sort of obstacle or guardian you have to know the secret to. It can be an item, a move, a Pokemon, a spell or password...who knows! Sarimanok obviously wasn't alive when the Barrow Downs were created, so they don't really have a guardian. But the League does require explorers to have a permit to ascend to the castle-like ruins where the Unown dwell."

Cool.  Think that's just about everything that needs to be done at the museum for now.  After some more talking about random exhibits and Sarimanok, Nathan thanks the older man for his time and heads out.

Sure. You find his house has a wraparound porch, and it's hung with crude little wooden masks like imitations of Yamask.

'Stoic calm'must have somewhat been what Shiva would or was appreciate/ing, the figurative tower of strength still standing when waves try hard to take it down. She soon felt a little better in Terra's closure, at least the tears stopped falling.

But, this was also WEIRD, so as swift as she leaned into him she withdrew herself again in a faintly embarrased manner. "Eh... I'm sorry. Must have...gotten over me... But, thank you. *last sniffle and swift rubbing of her eyes* I'll....well, I guess I'd just wish to be alone for the rest of evening.... We'll see one another in the morning in Lobby, for our battle....?"

Also, before leaving Shiva does pick up 1 Potion and the Egg(s?) Valder left behind, is it a different Egg than the one Smoochum hatched from or IS it the Smoochum already?

This is a great time for Terra to come scowling in, threatening Dusclops with Genie.

You need as many successes as the Pokemon has Will - pretty tough even for a tough guy like Terra.
Intimidate: (6)(2)(5)(6)(6)(1) (2)(4)(6)(6)(5) = 8 successes. Just enough!

Dusclops eyes go wide - they seem to be blue from the Water Pulse, but wide with offense - he releases his held power and fades away.

The Skull Ruins goes quiet now, though you see shadows flitting among the makeshift gravestones. And there's a lot more activity near the barrows. Before you reach those barrows, however, Heart spots his goal: three Natu, hopping around in the dust and eating the fat maggots who make their home in the upper layers of the Ruins.

"....And stay gone," Terra calmly and quietly said to the Black Dusclops as it faded away, before letting out a huff and going over to give Geine a pat on her back in thanks, to which she tiredly preened at the gesture, before he returned her.


 "Thank you. Now, get some more rest, Genie. We have another important battle tomorrow, and you need to be ready for it."

Once that was settled, the mountain of a man went over to capture his preferred Duskull and sent it off to the PC to get treated, leaving the other Ghost completely unmolested as he followed closely behind Heart. The battle was over and the spirits were pacified in his eyes, so he felt their was no need for any sort of punitive action against them. 


In a way, they were only trying to Survive and defend their territory from trespassers like him, so he couldn't find it within himself to begrudged the lingering spirits here for their actions.

Doesn't mean he had to appreciate when he was a target of their ire/hunger, though. Only accept it, defend himself/his charge as appropriate, and (hopefully) nothing more.

When the collector stumbles onto the trio of Natu, Terra simply hangs back and quietly observes. He isn't interested in catching any of them for himself, and he didn't believe that his friend needed his assistance in catching one, bar maybe a Toxic/Paralysis from his Pokémon to make it easier for them.

Order: Simply have Terra watch and wait for now. He ain't all that interested in owning a Natu unless Heart insists on it, and he doesn't think its necessary for him to help out, so that's it really! He'll be ready to high tail it back to Cress City ASAP, though!

"Strengh wont be necessary my friend Terra. Its other methods to capture pokemon then use force. Just in case, be ready to use any status move Terra." Then Heart aproach the little group of Natu. He decide to make a friendly aproach. He dont want to scare the little group of Natu after all the trouble Heart and Terra do to find them. "Good little ones. Sorry if scare you or something like that." Heart put some fancy brioche bread and some slices of fish he have. "The names Heart. ArcHeart. And I searching for a pokemon with Teleportation ability. Is any of you have such move and is willing to get out of this Skull Ruins?"

One of the Natu seems very jumpy. Whenever one of the distant ghosts makes a noise, it flinches.

It's too scared to eat your food, though, preferring the safe comfort of the fat maggots.

EDIT1: Thanks for clarifying, that means Shiva does take Smoochum and, unless someone has great desire for it, the Dunsparce Egg. Will add the former Stats to my stuff later.

Shiva searches for battle in Stair City, not far from the Junkyard. That's where she finds Patch, a tinkerer who is willing to battle.

He sees your Alolan Pokemon and your mutant Pokemon, and claps his hands! "Then you, too, are a fan of upgraded Pokemon! We shall have a great battle! All my Pokemon are upgraded too, but using technology."

He presses the buttons on two Pokeballs on his belt, summoning an ugly Rhyperior and a sleek Porygon-2!

Porygon2: (4) + 5 = 9
Rhyperior: (3) + 4 Dex + 1 Survival = 8
Mightyena: (1) + 6 = 7
Vulpix: (1)

The Junkyard.... Despite Shiva enjoyed Stair City and roaming its streets, she never visited the Junkyard, why in Reshiram's glory name does she realize this only now?? Eh, nevermind, when letting her gaze wander over the place the expected happen - gazes met, silent words has been exchanged, Trainer meets Trainer, these were the moments where the fun began. or, the hope for an enjoyable and fruitful battle in Shiva's case.

"T...technology, you say? Oh, I actually...like technology, if you show me abit of it I'll in response show you what tricks my 'upgraded' Pokemon bear, alright? Now, up with you two." With a waving hand gesture forward as a cue both white fox and butterwolfly leaped forward and took a ready stance, but not only Vulpix but mildly even Shiva flinched upon the sight of a huge and ugly Rhyperior as a foe! This was the icy fox's first real battle under new Master's care, and she's already sending her in against THAT? WHHHYYYY?! The highly insecure gaze of Vulpix, completed with laid back ears and all, was met with a light and encouraging smile from her however after having caught herself. "I.....I trust in you, Vulpix! Please remember that we have an unmistakable advantage on our side, and that winter freezes small and huge beings alike. If you're unsure, please either look towards me or stick with your battle partner!" Yena answered this by letting out a loud *BAAARKK!* at the two foes and giving a slight nod to the icy fox beside him, before he got into a stance ready to pounce. They're both canines, they can make it!

Vulpix.... seems to respond well to this encouragement. Strengthening her posture a little and spreading her fluffy white tail, the sky darkened and the clouds accumulated - soon, the first pieces of ice fell from the sky, Shiva has been mindful enough to bring an umbrella. Vulpix' Snow Warning Ability kicks in, causing Hail Weather as long as she is on the field. She now sports *6Vitality, Mightyena's held Goodra Scale 'activates' means that 1 dice is rolled each Round; if success he doesn't take damage but gains +1 Strength from the hail. 1 damage according to book is dealt to Rhyperior and Porygon2 at the end of each Round.

"Alright.... Yena, how about you hurl some more ground on the Ground/Rock Type before sinking your fangs into it; and you show it how fast you can freeze the air, Vulpix?"

Heart seems shame after what Shiva. "I...sorry. He indeed don't deserve to be disrespected in be call of names. I just... already a member of us go. He could at least let us say our goodbyes to him..." Heart only take one Hurtloam and the Delta Pineco.
