Arial looking the entity became more angry with the appear of Sekmet, Arial came to a conclusion: If she stay, she would might day. With that say, Arial return Sekmet to the pokeball. "Sekmet! Return now!" With that decided, Sekmet return to the pokeball. Arial once again takes the pokeball of Zeus and send him again. "Zeus, quick! Use Iron Defense! Whatever it is, its want us dead! Tri-Attack three times against whatever is there if that thing attack us!" For the second time in the factory, Arial use the Mega Ring, making Melchior become once again Mega Metalynx! "Melchior! If that thing attack us, use Leaf Blade one time and Giga Drain three times if they attack!"

Then Arial talk to the strange presence. "We dont want to fight but we will if necessary! We need the Super Potions and the Anti-Radiation medicine! We are only trying to survive in this place! Please! We dont want to fight! Honestly! Believe me! What I need to do to show you can believe me?" Arial at all costs want to avoid a unecessary conflict, but they need that items. Whatever is inside that factory, is damn strong. They will need these items for the future confrotation. In case any of them get hurt, Potion will be used it.

Iron Defense is ineffective, since Magnetic Flux is still in effect for itself and Melchior! Its very much prepared to fire off as many Tri Attacks as you want, though! In no time flat Melchior was now Megafied and raring to lay into whatever 'baddy' come popping out of the wood works!

The Strange Presense is unmoved/unchanged at your words, though despite the clear signs of you prepping for confrontation it does not retaliate or make any Moves to reveal itself. At the very least, it seems its not going to start something unless you take the Items.

 Yet....it had an undeniable bitterness, wickedness, and resentment to it as well.

".....Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, how very amusing. If only the Pokémon I meet before you were so fair, I might not be in the right state I am now."

That laughter....it made everyone in the small clearing involuntary shudder.

A dark miasma erupts from the corpse in great, billowing torrents, startling your Pokémon and forcing you to cover your covered mouth and take a few steps back.

Then, with a *CRACK!* , the corpse lurched up to stare you in the eyes, its own gouged out yet you can still see pink orbs staring back at you.

"In death, I am a Wrathful Spirit, my duty to have my vengeance on the world, spreading my suffering and agony to all! Hear me now, Arial Schrödinger: I accept your challenge! Lay me to rest and end my grudge upon the world......or I WILL START MY VENGENCE ON YOU!"

The revenant threw back its head and let out the most horrendous laugh, causing his neck to *Snap!* clean back as MORE miasma is vomited from his eyes and mouth, until the body collapsed on the ground.

All toxic haze gathered together in one great big thick cloud....which grew two big pink eyes, four tiny limbs, and a mass of spikes erupted from its back.

The Strange Presence has fully revealed itself: It Gengar, the SOUL of the NG given Ghostly form and resurrection as he cursed the world and all in it as he died! And it was looking right at YOU, as it let out a maniacal laugh.....!

….Before Mega Metalynx suddenly finds himself dragged into the clearing to face off against the Vengeful Ghost, and a purple see through barrier springs up around you, your brother, and the Gengar itself! Additionally, you hear a ominous series of *Clicks!* on your person, causing you to look down and discover to your growing horror that ALL of your Pokeballs were Locked! Zeus tries to rush forward to both your aid, but they are violently repelled by the barrier! OH NOES!

Plot Device of Wrathful Spirit Genger Activated! One on one duel between it and Mega Metalynx has been declared! Winner takes all!

Arial was surprise to see the thing he have suspect was in fact a powerfull Gengar. Yet, even with such situation, Arial do not show fear. He is a madman, and intimidation usually dont work on him. "A Gengar huh? No surprise why Sekmet was scared of you." Arial feel sympaty for the ex-Guardman and say some words. "I can understand pain and suffer. I felt pain in life too. A lot. I can simpatize with that. I not even going to ask how you know my name. Usually, its appear everyone know my name these days." 

Arial sigh. "Well, lets do some apresentations too." Arial bow in respect to his ghostly opponent. "The name Arial CopyCat. Madman, masoquist, hater of humanity in general and profissional in be almost be killed in various ways possible." Then raise his head. "Son of a beggar, survivor of Nuclear Crisis in Tandor. Lover of all types of pokemon." Melchior roar a bit to catch the attention of Arial. "Sorry. And this is my brother, Melchior." 

Even with such enthusiast and excentric way, Arial have a look of serious, ready to face the foe. "I want to make a deal with you Gengar. If we win, along with that items you have, I want you to become a member of my team. A Spirit such as you would be powerfull force and could help us to go along in this factory. And maybe we could get revenge in whatever have killed you. Also, I like your style. A talking Gengar would be awesome to have conversations. What you say? We have a deal?"

The Wrathful Gengar looked briefly surprised at your offer, before it just let out another chilling laugh and shook its head. They weren't interested in being Captured, only it either being granted the eternal rest it craved, or spreading its own misery throughout the world to lessen its own. Besides, you doubt that any of your Pokeballs would work on it, given the fact that its power locked down all the ones you have on hand....

Normally a Pokémon would attack you straight away if you tried Diplomacy after a battle has been declared if the attempt failed, but the Vengeful Soul was so amused by your request that he's decided to be magnanimous and not attack Melchoir that Round. How fortunate!

Then go ahead with Iron Head one time to try to Flinch him! If he Flinch, use it again! If not, go with Giga Drain two times! If you got hurt (around half HP) I use a Potion!"

The vengeful ghost is greatly alarmed by the sensation of the Draining Move, causing them to hastily back away from the floral patterned kitty cat before they got ahold of itself. They were quite displeased for a moment...before they realized that Melchior was suffering GREATLY from the various maladies he was now inflicted with, causing them to let out a sadistic laugh. That'll learn them! 

It was not the end of the green liger's suffering, though, for they decided it was time to compound their miseriable condition even MORE by casting a nasty, NASTY spells on it!

Unfortunately, due to the combination of being Confused AND Cursed, they botch their last Giga Drain and end up inflicting another point of Damage to himself as backlash (5/8) HP!

By the end of the second Round of the duel, both the malicious spirit AND the metallic feline had endured each other assault, with the former looking more ethereal and worn from all the damage it took, while the later was inflicted with the terrible combo of being Confused AND Cursed. Still, it was clear that despite the spiteful Moves pulled of by WG, Melchior had firmly established itself as their superior....albeit if with a little help from their brother.

Will this good fortune last, though....?

Current Status:

WG: 5/11 HP; - 2 Pain.
Melchoir: Full HP; Magnetic Fluxed, Honed Clawed, and Mega Boosted; Confused and Cursed.

The vengeful ghost is greatly alarmed by the sensation of the Draining Move, causing them to hastily back away from the floral patterned kitty cat before they got ahold of itself. They were quite displeased for a moment...before they realized that Melchior was suffering GREATLY from the various maladies he was now inflicted with, causing them to let out a sadistic laugh. That'll learn them! 

It was not the end of the green liger's suffering, though, for they decided it was time to compound their miseriable condition even MORE by casting a nasty, NASTY spells on it!

Unfortunately, due to the combination of being Confused AND Cursed, they botch their last Giga Drain and end up inflicting another point of Damage to himself as backlash (5/8) HP!

By the end of the second Round of the duel, both the malicious spirit AND the metallic feline had endured each other assault, with the former looking more ethereal and worn from all the damage it took, while the later was inflicted with the terrible combo of being Confused AND Cursed. Still, it was clear that despite the spiteful Moves pulled of by WG, Melchior had firmly established itself as their superior....albeit if with a little help from their brother.

Will this good fortune last, though....?

Wrathful Gengar is yet again caught off guard by your blunt honest, continued chumminess, and frankly mad perspective, looking as confused as Melchoir was moments ago before you cured that Status (But not Curse!). Then, it couldn't help but clutch its belly and let out a genuinely bemused, before leering at you with equal parts sadistic glee and respect.

"Ha Ha Ha Ha.....My, you are a odd one, aren't you? Ha Ha Ha....Guess no matter the outcome of this confrontation, we are both going to walk away from delighted, which suits me just fine! Now, enough chatter, and show me how maddening you and that cat of yours really are, Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!"

Its desire to remain free or be put to rest was still strong as ever, but the dread specter certainly liked the cut of your jib and felt a warped connection to you, even if he couldn't begin to comprehend your rationale. Oh well, its not like understanding each other will matter in the long run, now will it?

Not only that, but it could go to the afterlife in even MORE glee, as he knew that he found a kinderd spirit in YOU of all people, one that would carry out its suffering will regardless of their interactions with it!!! How utterly, deliciously, and devilishly DELIGHTFUL!!!! Looks like it can have its cake and eat it too, all thanks to you!

Because of all this, WG decided that instead of Begrudging you for your no doubt imminent victory as one last 'Screw You, Sucker!' , it would instead settle for only trying to inconvenience you instead by binding its own 'life force' with your green liger as a 'kind gesture of gratitude' for making them so happy!

Wrathful Gengar lets out one last cruel but estatic laugh as it felt its connection to the living world snap in twain, and began fading away! Before that, though, they turn to you and gave you a sharp, cunning smirk and a smart salute-wave with one hand, and then.....they were gone. Immediately afterwards, Melchior's whole body goes into convulsions until they collapsed and Fainted and detransform, its Destiny Bond with WG having kicked in and kicked him down. Revenge from beyond the grave indeed!

A moment later, the corpse ignited in baleful blue flames and quickly turned to ashes, the purple barrier + miasma surrounding the clearing you were it disapated, and all your Pokeballs unlocked! Zeus wastes no time in rushing towards your side, its tiny little magnets held up as it eye smiled at you, signaling its happiness that all turned out well for you! Nice job soloing that more bad than usual Ghost, master!

Arial and Melchior gain 6 + 2 XP from the Duel, along with all Items mention in the , which included a Bottle filled with 5 Iodine Tablets, 2 Halfi Berries (Which can be fed directly to the Pokémon to trigger its effect, as opposed to only being triggered with Held and Eaten!), and a Revive! Score!

Time for Arial to head back to the central meeting point, along with Reiner and Lindworm!

After all the strugle, Arial and Melchior was able to beat the might ghost. Arial did not loose the time and use the revive he have acquire (since they still in a place filled with Nuclear Pokemon). With Melchior Revived, Arial pat the head of the metalic Cat. "You did a awesome job Melchior. You show that Gengar who is the Alpha of the battle." Arial see the ashes of what remaine from the body. He takes pit of the man. Arial search in his own bag, and find a satchel, and put the ashes of the man inside. He see the sky from what the Gengar have and smiled. "You may be a little evil Gengar, but we both enjoy this battle very much. We were both people who was cursed by events of our lifes." Arial then touch the bag. "I was not even able to ask your name..."

"I cant the ashes of your body simple go stay here in this forgotten factory. Its just simple not fair. As much I am a criminal, you show great power, honror and respect in our battle Gengar. If you listened that in the after life, I promised I going to bury your ashes in a more decent place. This is the least I owe you for such amazing battle, and the strange bond we gave forge here. I still wish we could be good friends and a team." Arial makes a regret smiled. "If circunstances was different, I believe we would be good friends. I hope you find the peace who was negated to you. Rest in piece, National Guard Gengar. The most awesome ghost I ever see." With that last words of farewell, Arial return to the group, with the news items. Arial did not tell about the experience he have, but he have a sad face.
