With silent TERROR Shiva watches as that jolly Foretress outight slammed into her white fox, she had to cover her ears and look away with force to not take that whinning from Vulpix too much to heart. Things went less horrible than she imagined it do do though, and the relief when Vulpix made a chirping sound and got up on her smol paws again felt incredibly warm among the pieces of ice falling from the sky.

Looking back onto the field then, she had to grace Terra with alight smile of praise. "These Spikes were a good idea. Pestering mefor the rest of the battle now as the Rapid Spinner, coincidently the pre-evo of your Forretress, isn't with me right now!"

Meanwhile, the rugged mountain of a man was frowning with worry and concern as both his partners were waylayed by Confusion, as that was a Status that he and his had zero defense, tolerance, or safeguards in place for it. One misstep, and his Pokémon will be eating their own powerful knuckle sandwiches! 'Hmm....I will have to plan carefuly for now on. Shiva is smart trainer like, but far more clever and tricky....'

Melly was still energetic despite her numerous injuries, but it all clearly has taken its toll as she dazzingly sway side to side with the sluggishiness that comes from Pain. Basteele was doing relatively fine for herself, but Gothiteele's Flattery has gotten her all puffed up and even MORE determined to show her opponent's she NOT to be MESSED WITH!

To the Fairy Woman's comment on his strategy, he lightly smiled and nodded his head.

"Thank you. Confusing my Pokémon a clever good idea too, so I have to be extra careful with my Orders. Nice job, Shiva."

She looks hesitantly back at Nathan. Is he really sure about this...? That Furret doesn't look quite as friendly as Rhea does...

He smiles back. "You've got this, Forthright. I've got complete faith you can do this. You did well against the Kimono Girls, so you can do well here, too."

Rhea's watching from the sidelines with quite a lot of curiosity...and maybe a little worry.

Well, let's see where Forthright lands in the initiative order, shall we?

If you break the ice on the first time, focus your attack against Pangoro! Gargryph, use Glare on those enemies! Make that Arbok feel the same poison! Then go ahead with Heabutt against Pangoro! 2x! If he is already fainted, use against Arbok!"

With Sticky Web, though, Tanuki's grounded pokemon only have +8 Initiative due to the -1 Dex. Wink

Sandstorm 1! (Think I'll also follow Spirit's lead and use a Will Point to add a success to this move's accuracy)

Effect: Brews up a Sandstorm for 4 Rounds! Forthright becomes a Rock type due to Forecast and gains +2 Defense due to the Weather!

Weather Ball 2, 3, and 4!

Damage: 2 Power + 2 Weather + 4 Strength + STAB - 1* Defense = 8 D6

Actually that's my bad. Tanuki was supposed to switch out and get rid of the Screech.

Shiva couldn't but to feel silently impressed how her snowy fox, despite she was on her last resources and panted visibly. Despite she was giving herself as a showdog and probably better suited as a pet, this Alolan Vulpix she traded for seemed to have potential beneath its fluffly and pure fur. ( +1 appreciation for Alolan Vulpix)

A dear smile formed on her as the fox indeed went out with a blast, meaning not going down before leaving some more pain on that electric dog that was a tab bit too intrusive for her. Didn't force them out of battle, but still! She had to avert her gaze the moment it became clear that another Heavy Slam was it, and instantly recalled her into the safety of her Ball when that heartbreaking yelp from her died off. She holds the Ball close to her heart for a moment before packing it away alongside the umbrella though, silently praising the fox: "You did wonderful, dear one. Know that I am thankful for being able to be with you, and let us do more great things in the future. Rest now, I'll bring you to healing waves as soon as possible, alright?"

She looked up just to see a wave of psychic energy taking down Manetric, stunning her for a moment. "Whoahw. Eh, I'm sorry for that, Terra! But.... *meekly looking away*...YOU wanted to battle until fainting. I hope Manetric won't take it too hard? Good performance though so far - It's noticable that your Pokemon are pretty tough, where does that come from, do you train them in a special way?"
