"What, you felt something weird, young lady? Something weird...in time? All my clocks yesterday received the SAME error in their oscillators. Now, an oscillator is the heart of a clock, vibrating back and forth, making all other components move at the right speed! Some of my most sensitive oscillators, like the one made from Stantler horn, are permanently changed. It was just after you stopped by with the stopwatch, too. Very, very strange. Some of these clocks are, are, are showing more ticks than the other. Like they experienced extra time...But I think that's impossible. Could your stopwatch be the cause??"

At first, Shiva seems greatly confused over the clockmaker's reaction and words and couldn't help but to stare at them with a big BIG figurative question mark floating above her head. They didn't seem to have noticed these lurches, didn't see how various other boots switched places with their own, all they've mentioned was how the clocks suffered some damage in thei oscillators. How curious.... But how strange as well.

Next, she catches herself again as they soft-suspected HER for that error, causing her to flinch a little at the spot and raising her open hands in defense. "...No, I'm actually sure that the pocket watch I've showed you isn't the cause for that. It can't be, nothing like that has happened yet since I've been gifted it weeks ago." She relaxes a little after emphasizing that, but only looks more worried now. "So, please tell me:That means you haven't seen, felt or noticed anything but that error on the oscillators, is that correct?"

This was just weird and gave her soft-paranoia about these lurches a boost, how could they not have seen, noticed or.......felt....


.....Eventually it hits her mind without mercy.

Heart makes a last change I have forgot before anything. Gustav in the place of Nidorino. When Nathan aproach, Heart wave his hand back (Gustav have the Amulet Coin ready Dragonstrike). Heart raise a eyebrow. "Sure. Netune my Mudkip need some training too. Gustav may teach a thing or two for the Water Pokemon."

Nathan waves a hand semi-dismissively.  "Not much battling or training is gonna happen.  Well, I suppose some could...but I'm not gonna be here long.  Need to head to the Disobedience Shelter when we're done here, and I need to head back to Cress to meet Shiva in the evening once I'm done there."

Once at the park, Nathan brings out Swiftfire!  He gives her an appreciative hug, too.

Then he turns to face Heart and states what his idea was.  "Well, you know that Swiftfire knows Pay Day.  And you have an Amulet Coin, right?  Swiftfire's about ready to plink some more metal off of random stuff and generate some money, so need I say more?  I get $1000 worth of valuable metals, and you get the same.  She can do this once every week if you hadn't noticed, provided she's spent some decent time outside of the PC.  Figured we might as well try to get the most out of it by giving her an Amulet Coin before I let her loose."

"That would help a lot. With the Amulet Coin, the value is double. Hmm yeah that gonna work. I should find a pokemon with Payday too someday. Here. Use it." Heart give the Amulet Coin in the hands of Nathan.

*Handwave* Kind of. Michael flexes, then feels Terra's bicep.

Well, at least he was partially correct in his guess, so at least he didn't have to overly strain himself understanding his new partner! He does enough of that with Genie, and keeping her from getting up to....excessively mischievous antics. The next couple of the shroom's gestures helps clarify a little what they are trying to convey to him, though....hopefully, at least.

"....You are happy to be stronger and tougher with me, Mikey? Or something else?"

He resists the urge to start scratching his head in confusion, as that wouldn't be too flattering of an gesture to give to his new partner.

"That would help a lot. With the Amulet Coin, the value is double. Hmm yeah that gonna work. I should find a pokemon with Payday too someday. Here. Use it." Heart give the Amulet Coin in the hands of Nathan.

"Pretty rare move.  Finding a wild Meowth would probably be the most reliable way to get access to it yourself."  (and the most reliable way to use its in battle effect, too, if said Meowth has Technician)

Nathan gives Swiftfire the Amulet Coin, and she neighs and gets to work!  Off she goes, plinking metal off of various things in the surroundings!  Wheeeeeee, she's having a lot of fun with this move!  Nathan follows, collecting the valuable metal as it drops!

With the Amulet Coin, Swiftfire generates twice the amount of money she usually does, creating $2000 on the spot!  Cha-ching!

Once that's finished, Nathan splits it with Heart.  "There ya go.  $1000 for me, $1000 for you."

Thanks the Creation Trio I have Natu with me. Come. We have a Beldum for you to fuse."

Nathan shrugs when Heart mentions he'll come to the Shelter with Nathan.  "Well, whatever floats your boat if you've got time to kill, I guess."

Fast forwarding to the Shelter...Nathan actually wants to check up on Pyroar in addition to Beldum.  Get a feel for how they're doing a such. If Director North isn't too busy, Nathan will also say hi to him.

Michael gestures back and forth between himself and you. You eventually work out he's trying to say you possess much in common when it comes to contests of strength and endurance. 

Ventus helped him learn tricksy moves like Spore and worked on his goal of leaping to the sky. With Terra, he hopes to build on his fundamentals and put the finishing touches on his goals.
This more complex understanding may take Terra a while to understand.

Beldum is doing exactly what it was doing during Heart's visit: floating from one wall of the clear cage to the other. Impossible to read its emotions.

Pyroar looks to have a little more meat on his bones now. According to Director North, Pyroar has not learned to be comfortable among other Pokemon yet, but he's now to the point where he'll happily eat out of any trainer's hand. 

Director North seems a lot more relaxed than the last time you met him, since the Disaster-driven work has mostly subsided.

Shiva had to take a deep breath at that sensation to calm her worry and nerves, she puts effort into looking relatively fine towards the clockmaker themselves though.

"....Alright", she eventually says. " If you figured out what has happened, do you think you'll be able to fix it? Has something like that happened once already? Could I possibly help you or ist that work that you have to do alone and by yourself? I do have some quarz crystals from Mount Sentry that I can provid for new oscillators, if you'd desire them."

Nathan lets his Beldum out of its pokeball.  Any reaction from either Beldum upon meeting the other?

Nathan motions to Gallade to stand back for now.  He wants to talk to Pyroar a little.

First step: approach carefully, keep a respectful distance, and make sure that's okay with the pokemon before getting any closer.  "Hey there, Pyroar.  Mind if I join ya for a little bit?"
