"...No, I'm actually sure that the pocket watch I've showed you isn't the cause for that. It can't be, nothing like that has happened yet since I've been gifted it weeks ago." She relaxes a little after emphasizing that, but only looks more worried now. "So, please tell me:That means you haven't seen, felt or noticed anything but that error on the oscillators, is that correct?" (...)

"Nope, nothin' from me. Just gotta figure out what went wrong with these oscillators."

Shiva had to take a deep breath at that sensation to calm her worry and nerves, she puts effort into looking relatively fine towards the clockmaker themselves though.

"....Alright", she eventually says. " If you figured out what has happened, do you think you'll be able to fix it? Has something like that happened once already? Could I possibly help you or ist that work that you have to do alone and by yourself? I do have some quarz crystals from Mount Sentry that I can provid for new oscillators, if you'd desire them."

"No, I'm positive I have never had this happen before. I would know. I think this might be above my paygrade, so to speak, aha, but I'll keep researching it and maybe send some of these oscillators along to Professor Laurelin. Don't worry, they are fairly cheap to replace. Quartz is one of the most common minerals on the planet, although it has to be specially prepped through a cheap industrialized process."

The two Beldum start mirroring each other, floating right across from the other Beldum with the glass between them. The dim Beldum sometimes miscalculates and hits the glass. (The glass is tough, more like Plexiglass.)

This seems like a very natural interaction for them, an instinct. Their iris-like eyes expand and contract and flit about.


Gallade senses things would go better if he ducks out the door. He keeps poking his head in, though.

Pyroar actually comes up to Nathan and rubs his head against Nathan's hands. His mane is warm and soft.

Beldum nods, but he does seem a little hesitant. "Fusing a Beldum who's a little dimmer might have an impact on Metang especially, but by the time the conglomeration becomes a Metagross I would think the effects would be negligible."


Pyroar nods, but shoots a nervous glance into the yard where Riolu is reducing yet another tree trunk into splinters.

"Professor Laurelin? Who's that and what do they specialize in, if I may ask? I only know of Professor Mallorn in this region."

"... I know, it's neat how such a pretty mineral is actually so common, haha." Relatively quick however, Shiva gains a thoughtful expression mixed with a bit shyness as if she wasn't too sure whether it's fine to ask the following or whether it's a good idea at all - but while she now has a suspicion where these lurchs from and this clockmaker is directly affected by them (unwillingly, but still), she thinks that maybe it's alright? She's curious about these lurches, much - though they also give her shivers and anxiety. There's a will within the fae enthusiast to find out more however, she cannot know yet where this will develop and it can only be good to be prepared in case it gets worse or more drastic. H.....Hopefully it, well, doesn't rerail and Pokemon and humans get directly hurt or injured by this...phenomena....!

She nods in agreement of their (the clockmaker - do they actually have a name?) eager to research what has caused this error to the clocks before speaking up again after a small break. "Would you, ehm, mind to stay in contact? I'd enjoy to, and I feel a little...responsible for all this trouble.... We could update each other if we find out more about this or note one another about it, I'd let you know if I stumble over hints what may have happened. Am traveling, so....maybe? Please?"

Michael gestures back and forth between himself and you. You eventually work out he's trying to say you possess much in common when it comes to contests of strength and endurance. 

Ventus helped him learn tricksy moves like Spore and worked on his goal of leaping to the sky. With Terra, he hopes to build on his fundamentals and put the finishing touches on his goals.
This more complex understanding may take Terra a while to understand.

"Ah. I see.....maybe. We both are tough and strong, and you like the.....chance to do stuff you could not do with Ven? Hm...."

He nodded after say this, and then proceeds to sit back down by the read flowers to ponder what he's learned from his newest partner.

The mountain of a man knew he was missing several important details and the deeper complexities of Mikey's pantomime explanation, but he thinks that he's gotten the jist. As time goes by, they'll grow closer and he'll better understand his shroom bro, but for now he still has a long way to go until then. For now, he still has to work out the kinks and creases in their partnership, and do his best to bond with them like his other Pokémon.

Several minutes passed comfortably in silence between him and the mushroom of champeons , yet again simply soaking in the splendor that was the great outdoors. That was until Terra broke it by turning towards them, and offered him his hand for a shake.

"I promise I will help you. To become stronger, to become better, and for you to.....fulfill your dreams. We will train together, learn from one another, and reach our.....goals. Bit by bit, with lots of sweat and effort, no matter how hard it is. All I want is for you to be my partner.....and one day, be a close friend too. Agreed, Mikey?"

I will also put the Alola Geodude in the Shellter for a while to learn to less disobedient. They warn me Geodude have...the tedency of using Lethaly moves even when the foe is fainted. He also have access to Thunder, so thats make twices the danger. I already have put Delta Onix. It may take more time to return to Stair City more than I have imagined. Thanks the Creation Trio I have Natu with me. Come. We have a Beldum for you to fuse."

"...whoa.  Seriously, Thunder?!  Yeesh, that sounds dangerous...yeah, might want to get a good handle on that Alolan Geodude before you attempt to use him in any battles..."

Nathan shrugs when Heart mentions he'll come to the Shelter with Nathan.  "Well, whatever floats your boat if you've got time to kill, I guess."

Fast forwarding to the Shelter...Nathan actually wants to check up on Pyroar in addition to Beldum.  Get a feel for how they're doing a such.  If Director North isn't too busy, Nathan will also say hi to him.

Beldum is doing exactly what it was doing during Heart's visit: floating from one wall of the clear cage to the other. Impossible to read its emotions.

Pyroar looks to have a little more meat on his bones now. According to Director North, Pyroar has not learned to be comfortable among other Pokemon yet, but he's now to the point where he'll happily eat out of any trainer's hand. 

Director North seems a lot more relaxed than the last time you met him, since the Disaster-driven work has mostly subsided.

Heart go in the direction of Director North and talk with him. "Sure, could I ask something? I would like to put Geodude in the Disobedient training please. Since he know Thunder, it would be dangerous to let him go wild. Since I have Onix here, they could make company. Its just for a while."

"I know Mallorn, too. He's more about technology. She's more about biology, actually. So it may sound like I'm sending this to the wrong professor, except Lorellin also studies archaeology, history, cloning, Legendary Pokemon, and Time. She may be able to discover if some kind of Pokemon affected this clock. Now, Mallorn could tell me what has changed about the oscillator, but I already know that, right? So it goes to Laurelin. Plus, she lives in Cress City and works at the Museum. Easy."

"Yes ma'am, we can exchange numbers. My tag is Ivy - IV, get it?" He points to the number "four" on one of his clocks with Roman Numerals. "I'll call you if I learn anything from Laurelin."

"We've already sent Geodude through all the training that can be had at Adventure Camp in order to improve his loyalty and obedience. You can still send him to camp, but we can't guarantee he'll obey more orders. It would give him time to play with Onix, if you wanted, but I'm afraid the only way he'll learn to control his more destructive urges is by spending some time in the real world, and traveling with a trainer."
