That was a pretty cool way to summon a Pokemon, especially a Ghost Type... But clenching Delphox's wand more firmly in now both of her hands as she held it protectively in front of herself as that super-eerie laughter echoed in the room (giving her icy cold showers running down her spine, ugh), she did a fine job to keep her calm and stoic despite being in a real haunted mansion.
A deep breath and an eager look exchanged with Raphael later, Shiva faced that vivid nightmare and it's wide grin with a frown herself. "....Fine", was all that came from her. "Alright. Spinda, Raphael.... Please prepare to bring down this Gengar as fast as possible. This is your first real challenge since you've been handed to me, Raphael - You're ready? I'm counting on you... So please don't let us show weakness, sadness or grief now due to what happened, no: NOT NOW." *single headshake* "We're sharing the same scar, but it will not immobilize us. SLASH IT!"
Accuracy Roll Air Slash, all on Gengar, and 4 times: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 4 Channel -4 Actions/-5 Actions/-6 Actions/-7Actions = 5, 4, 3 and 2 dice
Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 3 power of the move + 1 STAB = 7d6
Additional notes: Has 5*CD to flinch Gengar due to Serene Grace. Seeing a Gengar flinch would be weird though... Typing my Accuracy Rolls like this also doesn't suit me.
"Oh! And in case a Ghost or - mind you - Poison Type move is targeted at you, please seek cover behind your stumbling battle partner! You hear me, Spinda? Concentrate on my voice, don't loose focus, and STRIKE."
Accuracy Roll Feint Attack 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Brawl - 2 Actions = 5d6
Accuracy Roll Feint Attack 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Brawl - 3 Actions = 4d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 2 power of the move, no STAB but +1 anyway due to held Black Glasses = 8d6 +1 autodamage due to SE.
Additional notes: This move hits even if the Accuracy Roll fails, meaning that Spinda wil use it no matter what even in her confusion! ...Hopefully at last.
-------------------------
Tangled Feet does still soft-protect Spinda. I hope seeking cover behind her is still possible to save Raphael from Ghost and Poison attacks?
The moment any of my Pokemon fall asleep or end up paralyzed, the formerly placed Items are also used.

Riolu gains 3Xp and Terra gains 2. Riolu also gains 1 Loyalty upon seeing how Terra kept his word even under near-disaster.
Gallade is kind of laughing about how close Terra came to passing out from his own actions.
Terra clenches his teeth and lets out a grunt as his knees hit the floor, head bowed as he awaited what Anubi would do. Would they finish him off, or show them mercy like he did to them? When it was clear that no conscious erasing Move was inbound, the thoroughly bruised wander did the unexpected: he started to laugh. It was deep and booming, pleasure and satisfaction clearly evident in it as he looked up at his blue bomber, giving them a Pained but genuine and fierce smile.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! You have learned well, Anubi. Next time, I will give you only one Round to prepare! Very good fight, my friend! Ha Ha!"
He then slowly staggered to his feet, and turned to give the psychic knight the same grin he gave to his blue bomber.
"You know Heal Pulse, Gallade? Could you use one on me? Please? I like a good fight, but not so much the injuries I get from them, Ha Ha!"
For all intent and purposes, it appeared that Terra didn't mind he lost the second match against Rilou at all, and seemed happy, strangely enough! Looks like what the simple monk said only a moment ago was true: he really did like a challenging fight, no matter the outcome! Didn't hurt...well, no it did, but it helped that he knew that he managed to earn a little respect from the young jackal's , which was half the point of sparring with them to begin with.
All in all, it was a good match for Terra, through and through!
Order: Politely ask Gallade for some heals, and await Anubi's reaction to Terra's good sportsmanship / praise! I'll wait until Nathan comes back to pick up Gallade before Terra starts his Third Encounter, which will be foraging for more Berries with Michael AND Anubi this time! Might as well gather up as many nature's goodies, if I can!

"Oh! This is from an ancient Pokemon, but not one of the usual fossils! Looks like an elephant toenail...Donphan? Or maybe something a little different...should I analyze this first or just revive it right away?"
"Good point."
"Yeah, I've got a Claw Fossil, too, but I figured this one would be more interesting to start with. I've actually done a little research on it myself and have an idea of what it might be...but maybe you don't want me to spoil the surprise? I'm all up for reviving it right away." Nathan has a sly smile on his face. He's been looking forward to this.
"I think I know what is too. A guess, at least."
The Toenail Fossil goes into a spherical machine, which scans it, crumbles it up, hits it with some lasers ("This heats up the DNA"), spins it at high speeds ("This is separating various components of the fossil"), bathes it in radioactivity behind lead shielding, and spits out a bowl of goo.
"This is the DNA, fossilized, but it's useless until we know how it's coded and can replicate it in a living way. Next we need to expose it to various nucleotides and see which ones fit in which order." This is done in a tubelike machine. The DNA sequence starts appearing on the screen.
"There are two components to a revivification - both extremely expensive. We need to provide one strand of the DNA, which fixes all the errors and complements the original strand. But we also need a strand of the source DNA, which provides...well, Life! Science still isn't sure exactly what the stoney material provides. Some kind of fundamental force or energy, locked away in the stone. Some of that material is almost always present in any revivification - without it, the creature cannot live. Nor can one creature's fossil be used to give life to another creature's DNA sequence. One fossil = one Pokemon, no matter the size."
She absorbs everything into a special Pokeball, a purple one with a picture of DNA on it. She places this Pokeball in a small boxy machine the size of a suitcase, with a slot for just one Pokeball. It's not plugged into any power source, though it looks electrical. It looks more like a Healing Machine than anything, including the preponderance of flashing lights. Laurelin hooks it up to a big tank full of liquid.
"This part makes some people squeamish. But it's at the heart of revivification!"
The "Healing Machine" starts glowing and flashing, bathing the Pokeball in radiance. A tiny blob like a Duosion, then like a baby bird, appears in the center of the machine. It grows more reptile-like as it increases in size. Soon it's the size of a kitten, but not yet formed the way you're expecting. The size is disproportionate to the detail. "It's going to be big, even as a child," says Laurelin.
The neck lengthens. A cobralike hood forms over the head, and beady eyes become visible. The body is getting very thick, the tail is growing from the earliest stage into a lengthy appendage. It has four legs, still devoid of toenails. The clone has taken on a sauropodian figure, longer and thinner than Tropius, but still recognizable as a very similar Pokemon.
Now rocky plates are sprouting from the spine, protruding diamonds. Toenails develop - rocky and stubby. Stone thagomizers grow from the vinelike tail - a lethal looking weapon.
From the tip of each dorsal plate sprout twin leaves. The hood and tail take on grasslike characteristics. Tiny Rowletty feathers grow around the ankles and spikes. The toenails are palmlike. The Pokemon is solidifying before your eyes, maturing into a longer and slightly thinner Tropius. It'll be heavier, though.
The liquid drains away from the tank, and the ancient Tropius collapses.
"She'll be unconscious until she spends the night in a Healing Machine at a Pokemon Center. Such is always the case. Other than that, preliminary scans reveal she's a success! Oh, you must beam this Pokedex data to Mallorn at once! She's beautiful..."
Delta Tropius was caught! (Delta? You're not quite sure)

"Rock types. My one weakness!" Much laughter from the crowd.
"Hey, Alolan Geodude is a cool Pokemon to use! We don't see much of those, other than Alolan Rattata! Good on ya for a rare find! And folks, it has come to my attention that this Geodude was adopted from the Shelter for Disobedient Pokemon in Stair City! Let's hear it for the generosity of challenger Heart!"
*applause*
"For that reason, and because Heart is a very strong trainer, I will bring out a little surprise."
He sends out a bulky bear, covered in fluff and riding its tail like a snowboard! It's also wearing goggles - very important, for the moment it enters the arena, the sublimated frost on the ceiling begins Hailing down on the battlefield!
"This is Anderind, a Pokemon from distant Tandor! What do you say to that, Heart?"
Heart whistled when he see the Anderind entering the field. "Wow. Now thats a surprise. Anderind. Ice/Ground if I recall. Thats a nice and powerfull offencive combination. A powerfull pokemon to someone who have a Ice team. Nice catch I must say." Heart then decided to call a change. "Unfortanely Iron, I think you will need to return for now. Thats a nasty combination for you." Heart return Alola Geodude and have bring Gustav! "I have imagined you would bring some type of pokemon to counter the types weakness of the Ice-type, so I have bring a pokemon who dont have such thing. In pokemon battles its always important to be at least one or two steps ahead of the foe."
With that say Heart bring his orders. "Alright Gustav! Lets hit hard that foe! First use Swords Dance to increase your might Cannon! Then use Water Pulse 3x! Focus in your water power!"

Nathan watches the whole revivification process with great interest. This is definitely not something he thought he'd ever get to see in person.
When the process is finished, Nathan whistles. "That she is. You happen to have a pokeball for her, or do I need to provide one? And yeah, Mallorn is going to be incredibly excited when he hears about this..."
Nathan kneels down so he's right in front of the large sauropod's head. Is she conscious?

Gym Leader Chuckles vs Shiva Round 3
Gengar creeps up on Raphael, slowly and teasingly working his way up the wall, never ceasing his grin.
"We must reduce this battle to even terms once more..."
Gengar fades right through Spinda whenever the Normal-type stumbles into his way, and Raphael becomes pinned against a corner of the mansion. Spinda is smaller than Raphael and would normally be able to intercept only one dice of damage, but due to the ghostly nature of his opponent he will not provide any cover. Gengar can come through the walls, through the ceiling, through the floor, and right through the Normal type itself.
When Raphael is safely cornered, instead of shouting "Boo!", Gengar just stares at the fearless archangel. Suddenly his claws strike out in a quick jab and he fades away, laughing at Raphael's discomfort.

Riolu Round 1
Riolu begins howling and carrying on, trying to psych himself up. But really, the noise just psychs Terra down.
Screech 1
(3)(2)(4)(5)
-2 Def for Terra
Then he launches!
(…)
Riolu Round 2
Riolu gets a mischievous look in his eye as he realizes Terra really won't move.
(…)
Blaze Kick 2
(6)(5)(5)
(2)(4)(1)(5) Terra takes 2 dmg 1/10hp -3 pain. He falls to his knees!
Burn: (5)(5)
Survival: (4)(4)(4)(2)(2) 3 tasty berries.
(2)(6) = 8 = Persim Berry
(1)(6) = 7 = Chesto Berry
(4)(2) = 6 = Oran Berry
Anubi is healed a little.

"I don't know if you know this or not, but victorious challengers earn a victory lap!" Skates rise up out of the arena, which was freshly paved by Rotom. "Let's have some applause for Heart as he takes a well-earned victory lap. He's moving on to the big leagues, I hope!"
Heart once again make a respect bow to Zamboni. "Thank you everyone. Also thank you Zamboni for the chance of battle. Also, if you dont mind, there is something I must discuss with you. Something who is...urgent of your attention. If you dont mind of course."
"Sure, champ. Come to my office in ten minutes, eh?"
He's waiting when you get there.
When Heart meet Zamboni in his office Heart begin to finally talk. "Well, first of all: I believe you remember my friends: Ventus, Shiva and Nathan. They have challenge your Gym for a long time ago. I believe Dagny or Tanuki have already informed you about some problems with a group who was causing problems in Cheshire for quite a while. The Scimitars. Have you heard something about that?"
"A little. They are not here in Ginger Town, but were spotted in Wineberry. They skirt the law in many ways, but they're careful not to get caught doing anything outright illegal. Magicians, they call themselves."
