Where in the Great Divide?  I'm actually headed out that way, so we can meet up somewhere and not waste any more time than necessary.

That message caused the simple monk to stop in his tracks and look at it surprise, before he stroked his chin beard, looked around his surroundings for several minutes, then subsequently answered back:

'Okay. Near really tall peak of Great Divide, near large pine forest. Came to....location from Cress by...…'

Terra proceeds to give not overly detailed but an accurate description of the path and heading he took from the city to get to his current coordinates.

'....and then I came here. That is all. Understand, Nathan?'

(Looks like Terra isn't going straight back to Cress after all!)

With a little smile Heart have stand up once again. "Takes a well deserved rest Alphonse. You did very well in the last battle. We gonna meet tonight okay? Good night my friend." With that say, Heart, Alphonse, Natu, Golett, Iron, Typhon and Patrat takes some time to calm walk to the Pokemon Center to wait for everyone return and talk with Shiva. Natu was in Heart top head to sometimes rest his tiny wings. Typhon was wrap around Heart neck like a vivid necklace (imagine a guy with a serpent around a person neck and you have a idea). Time from time Heart give the eletric eel some endearment.

Iron and Golett was walking without any problems. They both using the Punch Moves they know to show to each other. Iron showing his Thunder Punch and Golett showing some Ice and Fire Punchs. Patrat and Alphonse each one walking in each side of Heart with the little member of the Patrat clan amazed by the looks of Cress City. "Such incredible place isn't? But for now we must focus in take some rest people. We might need to depart from Cress City according to Shiva. We gonna problably going after the HM-FLY my friends." Natu was then look to Heart from his head. "Yep. The hunt will begin soon little Natu. There is many things to do." Then Heart looks in the direction of Hypno. "I might need your abilities Alphonse. Depending from the level of danger in our journey, I believe I gonna need you."

Then Heart and everyone finally enter in the Pokemon Center. Heart retrieve all his previous wounded Pokemon. Heart than look to Alphonse. "I gonna make some dinner to you guys soon okay? Take a good rest here then I gonna prepare okay? Dont do anything funny when I gone okay?"

Mechanic: Scene with Alphonse and prepare food for Heart pokemons/Wait for Shiva meeting!

...really tall peak...near the forest...oh, that means you're west of Cress?  Must mean you're by...Hell's Peak...that's...actually not that convenient, on second thought...hmmm...well, I need to make a few preparations anyways.  I'll meet you back at the Eastern Center in Cress, in that case.

By the way...where and when did you get a Duskull?

I guess Terra is going straight back to Cress since he's not near either of the places where it would have been convenient...oh well.  At least we know he doesn't encounter any trouble on the return trip.

---------

Well, as for Nathan's own preparations, he needs to swap out some of his pokemon.  Gallade is ever present, as always.  He also grabs Juliet, Yule, Grid, Calam, and Solomon. On top of that, he also gives the Eviolite to Juliet and the Magic Beans to Yule. Just in case. Additional power and bulk is always handy. Notably, though, Calam's not holding his Black Glasses, because they're still on loan to Shiva for the time being. Ah well. He gets to hold the Leftovers instead for the time being.

He also needs to get some supplies: 1 Potion ($200), 1 Burn Heal ($250), 1 Ice Heal ($250), 1 Paralyz Heal ($200), 2 Pokeballs ($400), another TM for Telekinesis that is immediately getting taught to Juliet ($2800), a second set of Climbing Gear for Terra to use ($500), and 2 Ultra Balls ($2400).  Total: $7000

---------

When Terra arrives, Nathan waves and doesn't say much about what they're doing quite yet.  "Need to head to Mt. Sentry to check something out.  No, no, not into the mountain.  Onto it.  Western slopes are where we're headed.  Here, I bought you some climbing gear.  I have my own set already."  Nathan hands Terra the spare Climbing Gear that he bought.  "Ready for a little mountain climbing, or do you need a little time to prepare?"

Gym Leader Tanuki vs Shiva Round 2

Brave Bird is a fine move... Though none that Shiva would see fitting into her style of battling. But if one can believe that knowing smile that graces her, she is 1. well aware of how much training it actually takes for a Pokemon to fully be able to use a strong egg move it hatched with and 2. kinda appreciating that Tanuki put so much work into a small Pidgey. "2D is just fine, thank you for that effort! It'd be...solely as a memento, haha." She makes a gesture of 'shrugging it off' while in fact she really really enjoys that favor. (⌒▽⌒)☆

Meeting the gaze of that sleak Linoone, she immediately understood why it's likely called the way it is - It's fur was windswept if taking a very close look, it looked like it'll go from zero to full speed in the matter of seconds. Her intuition told her that this exemplar was FAST. Maybe even faster than a normal one, Shiva knew how quick these badgers are on their feet. Despite they normally don't look that fast, rather cute! And useful when planting season has come.

Averting her gaze from Linoone now though, Shiva looked up - only to see Raphael having accelerated. The more circles he took across the battlefield, the faster he seemed to get, before he was not much more than a blur waiting for the right moment to dart into the foe. One moment, she even was sure to see sparkles or the hint of a rainbow tailing after him! Well, that saves her speaking out her order, Raphael must have sensed or anticipated it somehow.

"Raphael, you hear me? Try to fly in a curved or zigzag-pattern to confuse or catch your foe off guard when you aim for them."

Accuracy Roll Extreme Speed of the flying Fairy 1: 3 Dext + 3*Fight + 2 Brawl - 2 Pain - 2 Actions = 4d6
Accuracy Roll Extreme Speed of the flying Fairy 2: 3 Dext + 3*Fight + 2 Brawl - 2 Pain - 3 Actions = 3d6
Damage Roll: 5*Strength + 3 power of the move, no STAB still deals 8d6 of damage.
Additional notes: This move has +2 Priority, if Linoone uses that move herself I'll bite myself because plan failed. Just as Pidgeot, Linoone must be weakened or at best defeated FAST.

'If that is where I am, then yes. Okay, meet you there.'

A moment after that message was sent, another one came about their inquiry into his spooky spector.

'.....Skull Ruins. Couple of days ago.'

----

The simple monk reaction of being gifted Climbing Gear from the clever trainer was one of stark surprise, eyebrows fully hiked up, lips widened out, and eyes wide open. Seldom was that he received ANY stuff from others without having to earn them first (in one manner or another), so just being given something so useful as this for practically free....it was a shock.

Never the less he did halfway snap out of his daze to answer Nathan's question with a dumb nod, packing away the climbing gear into his cargo pants.....somehow, before entering into the Pokémon Center in order to access his PC to reconfigure his party into the following line-up: Shiranui, Anubi, Lapis Lazuli, Genie, Melly, Mikey. He then rejoined the boy, still looking a bit out of it, but no doubt ready for some more extreme hiking.

".....Ready, Nathan."

Order: Follow along Nathan in his Encounter, and help them out all he can. Teamwork is best work, especially in DANGEROUS terrains.

No response from Nathan after Terra says he caught Duskull in the Skull Ruins.  Which could mean a few things.  It took Nathan a few minutes to process that information.  And by the time Terra meets him at the Center, Nathan's focus and cheer doesn't seem to let on how...unnerved he was by Terra's comment on Duskull.  Just so you know ooc.

----------

Nathan leads Terra towards the western slope of Mt. Sentry!  It's time to hunt for that strange Bulbasaur!  Nathan explains more of the mission to Terra on the way there.  Including explaining what a Bulbasaur is to Terra and what they normally look like.

"...so, in order to revive the Claw Fossil I have, I need to complete this task for Professor Laurelin.  So we need to check out the western slopes of the mountain, see if we can find it, and bring it back to the professor without fainting it.  She wants it to be agreeable as possible so it doesn't give her as much trouble while she studies it.  Though, if we do faint it...there is another mission I can take.  A relatively easier one.  So even if we do faint it accidentally, there is a backup plan...I brought some status inflicters and some Ultra Balls, though, so hopefully this will go relatively smoothly once we find the strange Bulbasaur in question."

Primal Bulbasaur mission, start!  Nathan has sharp eyed Grid and experienced Calam out to see if they spot anything out of the ordinary as we start looking around the western slopes of Mt. Sentry!

(Guess you don't want to just follow the letter of the agreement, but the spirit of it too, eh? Ain't going to change much but make things harder, but if you want to play it by the books, then be my guest. Or I'm your guest, rather, but you get the point.)

Dense as he was, it didn't take long for the mountainous man to comprehend of the mission, its parameters/objectives/qualifiers, and info on Bulbasaur, nodding his head as they finished.

"Understood. No Fainting Bulba unless we have to, and bring it back to doc Laurelin safely. Have Melly and Mikey to inflict Status, and Genie can help scout by air for them when I tell her what it looks like. My doggie can also try to.....search and scent of for strange Pokémon smells. *Nods* Yes. I and my partner have your back. We will not fail you, Nathan."

With that said, Terra summons Genie and Melly to his side, and quickly informs/instructs them of their given task, with both the fem fatales rather delighted to do their part! Its not too often they get to hunt for Pokémon this long (even if they are not permitted to kill then eat them), so this mission was something they could get fully behind!

Order: Send out Genie to scout out the western slopes via air, covering differently areas that Grid and Calam are scoping out. Melly, meanwhile, will cover much the same ground as Calam, teaming up with them and using her sense of smell to bolster their efforts! Its time to look for a sprout amongst the craggy cliffs!

Gym Leader Tanuki vs Shiva Round 4

Extreme Speed 1
(4)(1)(6)(2)
8d6 -3 vit = 5d6
(1)(6)(3)(1)(5) Linoone takes 1 dmg 7/8hp

"Go for the belly, Linoone! Raaaah!"

Slash 1
(1)(3)(1)(5)(1)(5)(4)
3 Str + 3 power + 1 STAB + 1 Silk Scarf -4 vit = 4d6
(2)(3)(3)(6) Raphael takes 1 dmg 2/9hp -2 pain

Togekiss just continues going around and around, maneuvering around the tubes and coming in before Linoone gets a chance to attack.

Extreme Speed 2
(4)(1)(5)
(5)(1)(4)(1)(6) Linoone takes 2 dmg 5/8hp -1 pain

Slash 2
(3)(4)(5)(6)(6) Critical hit! The long badger latches on to the archangel's soft underbelly.
(3)(1)(5)(2)(3)(3) Raphael takes 1 dmg, stupid dice

Slash 3
(1)(4)(5)(4)
(1)(5)(6)(2) Raphael takes 2 dmg and faints.

+1 Dex for Linoone thanks to Speed Boost! Now she's traveling at speeds closer to that of Raphael. And she's leaving oily tracks on the ground, blech!

"Yeah....:p I always have to clean the Gym after battles with Linoone."

Insight/Survival/Alert checks for Terra and Nathan:
(3)(4)(5)(2)(4)(6)(4)(2) = 5 success. Terra spots the Bulbasaur right away, digging with good speed at some earth on the flank of the mountain. Wherever it digs turns into fine sand instantly.

The saurian part of the Bulbasaur looks just like a normal one, albeit with little curling ferns like tiny versions of Ivysaur's. As it digs, the little ferns twitch to reveal a spherical, lumpy stone where the bulb ought to be. It also has little bulbous stone warts all over, especially at the joints of its limbs and even over one eye, making it unable to see from that eye. The effect is grotesque, like a gargoyle or Quasimodo.

It hasn't spotted y'all yet.
