Terra orders Paralysis and Spore on an Unown at random. Trevenant uses Confuse Ray. It can hardly miss, and all the attacks land, (3) one on each of three different Unown, who are left behind floating in midair. *rolls* An A, a G, and another A. The stream of Unown, however, keeps traveling, swarming up to the ceiling and hovering there angrily, glowing with psychic power!

A blast of core celestial power flows between the Unown as they whirl in two whirlwinds, orbiting each other. It splashes not against Terra, or Heart, or their Pokemon, but against one of the mixed up murals on the wall. It glows pink, and another Ditto coalesces from it. Right away, it takes the shape of Manectric!

Another demonstration of power, and a stony Tyrantrum leans through yet another mural and roars a roar to shake the cavern! The Meowth vanish into a tiny crack. The Umbreon and Eevee in the cavemouth run off, carrying their berry and fluff.

Moving to combat time!

Terra, already on edge and apprehensive from the discovery of Scimitar incursion into the cave, was pushed into full blown scowling seriousness as a Ditto and a GIGANTIC lizard monster sprang forth the mural on the walls, all due to the mystifying but terrible Hidden Power of the Unown!The metamorph's subsequent Transformation into his beloved Melly and the tyrant dino cacophonous roar did not do anything to ease the swell of anxiety that crashed through him, but he didn't display any of it as he glared at them, with his mushroom of champions and genuine doggie leaping forward to confront the literally living art constructs!

"Hn....Nathan said Unown could be.....tricky and dangerous, but did not think they could do.....that."

Heart's cocky comments were meet with a swift nod from the mountain of a man, as he got into a martial stance!

"Yes. Unown summon art Pokémon to fight us, so we will stop them together. If they try to harm group badly..... I will erase them."

With Terra's Pokémon:

Melly, contrary to those that know her well, was completely incensed at the Ditto-Manetric, bearing her teeth at them and letting out an impressive snarl, her fur bristling on end from both angry and electricity crackling off her! The reason for this unexpected aggressive was also simple: she was pissed that imposter copied her appearance and power, and was now going to turn it against HER master! How DARE it commit such unspeakable BLASPHOMEY in HER likeness! Ooooh, she was going to TEAR BLOODY RIBBONS for this UNFORGIVABLE transgression, *Rrrrraaaaaaawwwrrrrrrlllll*!


Mikey, meanwhile, was much calmer relatively speaking, quickly getting himself pumped at the mural monsters, particular against the titantic Tyrantrum. He stared them straight in the eye, his gaze unflinching and steely, before thumping his chest and challengingly crying out at the dino! Come at me, Tyrant! I'll show you who's the true king of Fighting! ORAH, ORAH, ORAH!
 
(It would actually be better for Melly to take on the Unown swarm by herself/nobody nearby, since she has Discharge, but....well, she's not going to do that until she's taken care of her doppleganger, and not when the whole group is nearby to get in the cross wire! Sorry?)

An Ancient Power: Boss Battle B - Final Fantasy II 20th Anniversary Edition

It's indeed an Eevee, designed to have a little touch of Jolteon and Flareon about it, and all done in that minimalist Mamo style. The oddest thing about it is the smoothness of its facial features, and its tail is almost like a single Espeon tail. Shiva thinks this drawing is going for the impression of an Eevee mid-mutation/evolution, perhaps demonstrating its unstable genetic code.

With much curiosity Shiva musters what the puzzle depicts after she skillfully completed it, frowns over that weird Eevee while instantly liking it. It looks a little like someone has exposed an exemplar of the elusive fox to various sources of evolution, huh... She highly wonders whether such a 'mid-mutation/mid-evolution' Eevee is obtainable or breedable if she'd put some effort into it.

For now though, she draws her star-patterned journal to make some notes about this curious mural, takes some photos of it even to later add a drawing of this feline. Delphox lights the wall properly to enable her catching as many features of the mural as possible on these photos.

What pained and startled Shiva much more than the Manetric and Tyrantrum though was the sight of Eevee and Umbreon running away, taking the Nanab Berry and fluff she has given them with them in the process! Holding her heand into their direction, she mildly called after them "U-Umbreon, Eevee, no....! Don't leave me, please...." before plucking Tanuki from the pocket of her Cloak: "Okay dear one, LISTEN: Please tail after these two, use your sense of smell to find them. Once you've done, hand them this small bell to calm them further, let them know that I'm on my way to find them as well. Ditto as the young one's mother is with me, and I'll do EVERYTHING I CAN to bring them together again.... I... only need to help defeating the threats that scared them off, catch two of these Unknown and then I'll get going. Be quick, be careful... Good luck."

With that said she lightly places Tanukizoon on the cave floor again (now with the Soothe Bell in her fur) and watches as the flufffurball eagerly sniffed the ground before darting off with suprising speed.

Accuracy Roll Odor Sleuth: 4 Dext + 3 Survival + 0 Alert = 7d6
Effect: Picks up Eevees and Umbreon's scent to pursue them.
Intention: Finding them (if needed with the help of Extreme Speed), greeting them, handing the pair my Soothe Bell to calm them and protecting them from harm until Shiva has found them back again.



As soon as her special Ziggy is out of ear- and eyesight, Shiva turns around and steps beside Terra and Heart with her head hanging, silent RAGE boiling up from deep within her again. That roar has startled her, but the moment she spotted that it came from the ancient dragon Tyrantrum represented - she smiled viciously. Mischievously. DANGEROUSLY maybe even... Seems completely unfazed by the massive rocky creature as she STARES at it with a gaze of ice beams. "That dragon scared my new Eevee and Umbreon away....", she quietly shared towards them, before...

"...IT WILL PAY. " With a dramatic gesture a Pokeball is tossed, out from it leaps a familar blue fae rabbit to land beside Delphox with ease and graze: Oooohhh, it seems like it's time again to slay some dragons, this time a weird ancient exemplar even! Now that promises to be fun, will it?~

Mechanics:
Send out Tanukizoon to tail after Umbreon and Eevee to enable Shiva finding them later before sending out Azumarill and Delphox to help defeating DittoManetric and Tyrantrum. If it's not possible for me to hit two Unknown as well with moves that hit all foes here, Delphox will be recalled and Raphael takes his place, but actually I'm interested in keeping the archangel unhurt as he'll help me finding the escaped foxes later.

Battle start! Orders will come after the Init Order is clear.

And after quickly blurting that out, Nathan turns his attention to the battle at hand.  If that Ditto copied Melly, then it likely has Lightningrod for its Ability...well then, that'll rule out all of Grid's non-spread Electric attacks until the faux Manectric is KOed...

Observing/Sensing that the mural monsters where faster than them, Melly and Mikey blurred into action, striking out against their respective foes with blindingly swift Quick Attacks and Mach Punches! They were not going to let them have the Initaitive over them if they had anything to 'say' about it! Terra, meanwhile, decided to rush forward to the three incapacitated/Statused Unown just moments prior to beat them down with mighty Strikes, taking care /being mindful to avoid any attacks sent his way by any group member's Pokémon. Just because he's human doesn't mean he's useless in a Pokémon fight, as he'll demonstrate amply in short time!

Order: 3 Mach Punches by Mikey and 4 Quick Attacks by Melly on Ditto, with the two transferring any leftover Punches/Quick Attacks to Tyrantrum. Given that Terra has a 11D6 Dice pool, Mach Punch's Accuracy Rolls by default will be 5/4/3D6 Dice, and Melly's will be7/6/5/4D6 Dice. Terra will attempt to use Strike 4 times against the Statused Unown in order to take them out, leaving them to be caught by the others/catching them himself if he has any actions left. Time to shred the alphabet and reject some lousy art pieces!

Note: Might separate some of the Unown from the stream when they're dazed by the bright light
Note 2: Might be really hard for Manectric Ditto and Tyrantrum to target specific characters while blinded.

Damage: 4 Power + 4 Str + SE = 8 D6 base + 1 Damage

If Tyrantrum faints and Ray still has actions remaining, he'll use Power Gem instead on some of the Unown. Base Acc is 12, Base Damage pool is 8.



And if any Unown faint in the chaos, Nathan will chuck some standard Pokeballs to try and capture them, regardless of what letter/symbol they are! Seal Strength: 2

Once that reached her ears from far away as it felt, she hastily searches for the Ultra Ball containing the pink blob among the other Balls in her pocket, once having found it she draws it and gives the Ditto within in a relieved glance as if she had to reassure herself that the mother of the family was still with her indeed. It/she returned Shiva's gaze with an innocent one of it-/herself, wondering what may be wrong?

"I-I indeed have, Nathan.... But I'm worried for these two already, you...know....", she quietly told, her voice and stance having turned very meek all of a sudden when admitting that.


Her attention was quickly brought back to the ongoing events and the ancient draconic dinosaur and the false Manetric (it looked so real though!) as her fae rabbit and wizard fox let out a loud chirp and hiss respectively, displaying their sweet Master that they're READY to show them what it means to mess with someone relying on the mystical power of fairies against foes! Must have picked up Shiva's cold anger, determination and urgency to finish business here quickly and then tail off this cave herself.

Her gaze was captured by something a little aside from the summoned group's Pokemon and the foes the Unknown have sent to them, in fact it WERE the Unknown: Or to be more specific, three exemplars that seemed to be seperated from the stream already; one of them had its single eye (eeek) closed in sleep while two were floating pretty erratically from likely paralysis and/or confusion. 'Perfect targets!', Shiva thought to herself with her grim and serious expression kept on them as she already prepared the two PokeBalls she requested from Nathan.

"Alright, Azu, Delphox.... You're both right, we need to be quick, do what we can to take the saurian and antagonistic electric wolf out as swiftly as possible. Show them your talent on spraying bubbles while your dazzle them, Delphox! Be mindful though and try to hit THESE" *pointing to the three seperated Unknown* " as well with your attacks. Understood? Well done, go for it!"

Azu meanwhile relies on what she can do best since having become a dear Marill: Drenching foes in bubbles!

Damage Roll: 3 Strength + 2 power of the move + STAB = 6d6, neutral damage on Tyrantrum. The old belt she's wearing around her belly doesn't help!
Additional notes: Will hit Tyrantrum, DittoManetric and the three Unknown as well, and has 1 CD to lower their Dext. by 1.

Once two of the Unknown she targeted are fainted, she'll attempt to catch them with the two Pokeballs Nathan has given her. If they break she'll use 1 from herself, if that one breaks too unfortunately - depends on the situation at that point whether she'll use more or leaves them for the others.

Terra, meanwhile, decided rush forward to the three incapacitated/Statused Unown just moments prior to beat them down with mighty Strikes, taking care /being mindful to avoid any attacks sent his way by any group member's Pokémon. Spotting the resident mountain of a man having leaped forward to take some actions against the Unknown himself (if he can reach them?), Shiva audibly gasps, partly out of fear and concern and partly due to being sheer impressed by such bravery. She is aware how strong any punches he deals out likely are, given she has experienced first hand how mighty the attacks his Pokemon let loose are.

Still, massive worry arises in her as she has orders her Pokemon to use attacks that are supposed to hit a group of foes, and he was directly there at the Unknown she asked her rabbit and fox to target especially... "Terra by all means, BE CAREFUL on that front! I... I don't want you to get hit by the attacks I ordered my Pokemon as well, so PLEASE step aside or make some room or anything in case!!" The concern and fear in her voice was very audible even for the dense person he was, so hopefully the message has reached him.

[Spiritmon]

"Right. Lets go finish this battle very quick! Some preparation should be good! Viktor! Time to put some in this battle with your move Ingrain! With that, you will heal in this battle! Then go ahead with 3x Drain Punchs against Tyrantrum! If he faint, use Horn Leech against Manetric! Ambipom! Lets make some evil plans against those foes! Nastly Plot then Swift 3x against foes! Lets bring those Unow a show with Water and Stars!"
