[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Upon Teleporting back to Cress, Gallade immediately pumps 2 Heal Pulses into Terra, one at a time.  He can't heal the psychic pain that Terra's going to experience in an hour, but he can prevent Terra from passing out from it.  And after he does so, he starts ushering Terra towards the Center itself.  Nurse Joy should be able to fix Terra up the rest of the way. (And Gallade as well, for that matter)

-----------------

Once everyone else is away from the cave and out of the Ancient Mew's range, Nathan stops running to try and stabilize Heart.  Psychic damage isn't an easy thing to treat, but he thinks he should be able to stop the impending headache...getting Heart to sit down carefully and not do anything strenuous is key to both letting Nathan apply the appropriate medical supplies and preventing that headache from getting worse...

From the look of it, it was ALL reasoned that Shiva began to feel panic arising within her, as that ancient Mew WAS already enraged, she felt like it's having all reason to be. They were probably nothing but unwanted guests in this Cave, intruders that disturbed the peace and mythic feeling at this place...

She averted her gaze out of sheer fright the moment Terra took a brave step forward to take most of the psychic force Mew sent out against them out, but at the same moment she silently thanked him with her whole heart. He did his job, he protected the group just as he was supposed to do: Guess he was some sort of personal hero now, at least in this moment and in Shiva's view.

The next moment, she spotted Gallade leaping forward and teleporting the wounded mountain of a man away. "That... That was a good call, Nathan!", she praised him and his psychic knight among her gasps.

Though when the boy stopped to check on Heart, Shiva felt sharp pain rushing through her heart, and after staggering for a short moment, she kept running. Her arms were occupied with Umbreon, his Eevee-son and Tanukizoon, and her immense fear and subsequent trembling hands will likely do nothing to aid in stabilizing him. "I.... I'll make my way to the Center then, finding Gallade, helping him in giving Terra into the care of a Nurse Joy, Nathan....", she yelled after him while still on the run, "W-we will see each other then I guess, take care!" With that said and made clear, she concentrated on the path back to Cress City again, only the young Eevee and probably Raphael would notice that her eyes are filled with tears again. Sadness, pain and fear were threathening to overwhelm her as she ran, kept running for her life as Mew was stil there at the horizon.

The first thing she does upon having arrived in Cress City again, was rushing to the Center and up to her dorm, where she carefully set Umbreon, Eevee, Tanuki down as well as gestured Raphael in AND sent out Ditto to complete the small family. "You all please stay here at first... Haahhh... You're safe here. Raphael, please take some care of them, soothe some riled up nerves, while I.... I'll be back in a few minutes, just... Haaahhh... Promise."

Closing the door, she rushes down again, trying her best to find Gallade and Terra. If they teleported, they must be somewhere around here, it can't be otherwise... The panic within her was still real, but it'll start to tone down the moment she has found the two, the moment she is able to assure herself that the wandering monk was in the professional hands of a Nurse Joy for further aid. She'll explain the situation to Nurse Joy if she asks where the wounds on Terra come from, but leaves out that it's from an ancient Mew: "We were one a trip to Ancestor Cave... Got attacked though by the Pokemon in there. One more got hurt, he should...arrive here in a little. Please.... help..." She's gasping for breath, but...

...she is doing relatively fine, no wounds apart from the shock and experienced panic. At best, she'll ask for some herbal medicine to calm her nerves.

Only when both Terra and Heart are safely in the care of a Nurse Joy, Shiva will go upstairs to her dorm again to check on Umbreon, Dittumbreon and their young Eevee: How are they doing, how have they taken all the trouble and hurry at the Cave?

-----------------
Mechanics:
Keep running while Nathan does that Stabilize Check on Heart as Shiva's currently not able to help here, setting Umbreon, Eevee and Ditto ( = the whole family) down in her dorm  in the Center as a safe spot, before finding Gallade and helping him in bringing Terra into the care of a Nurse Joy. Once both he and Heart are in medical care, she'll go up again to take a breather and check on Eevee and Umbreon.
Phew... So many stuff to do, all in a hurry! But at least we're safe now and got five different Unown and the shiny U.

- First of all Heart try to rescue Lapis and Meowth when they were running, but was hit by Mew attack as described by Iron.

Heart awoke feeling a lot of pain, and be treat by Nathan. "Damnit....it is morning already doctor....?" Heart try to say, before he cough and spilled some blood. "God....damnit....I am a Pokemon Rare Collector and all, but I have almost die everytime with Legendary encounters..." He could feel a lot of pain. "There must be some medic items in my bag. You can use it to treat the wounds..."

Sounds good. No need to roll the Heal Pulses.

(6)(4)(1)(6)(5)(1) (5) Looks like Heart will be OK! He needs comforting refreshments, like tea and fatty foods. Cashews are perfect.

Nurse Joy: "Ah, yes, nasty psychic types in Ancestor Cave sometimes. Solosis, Duosion, sometimes even Reuniclus."

It seems like Umbreon and Eevee and Ditto are simply happy to be away from that disaster. Doesn't seem like they've ever met up with a Legendary in their homecave! They're definitely not used to Shiva or civilization yet, so they do things like steal curtains and bedclothes to make a comforting bed on the floor.

All in all, your damage seems a lot less pervasive than the damage inflicted by Seikamater. You might reason that Mew was not fully "real" or incarnate, or it would probably have been a lot worse. Mew is known to possess virtually every possible attack, for example, and can fly at incredible speeds. (on the other hand, Mew is a fairly friendly Pokemon...)

Awesome.  Gallade's sticking close to Terra for now, making sure both he and the big, strong man are fully rested before they head back out.  He knows Terra's worried for the two pokemon he had to leave behind near the cave, and he's more than willing to help Terra with retrieving them safely and getting the heck outta dodge.  It's what Nathan would do, too.

When Shiva checks up on them, Gallade gives her a friendly wave to indicate everything's fine.  He's got this, no need to worry.

-----------------

Meanwhile, Nathan's helping Heart with getting to the Center, too.  Along the way, there's one question he asks: "Can I see those TMs you grabbed, Heart?  I want to check what moves they are with my Pokedex."  (Gotta do this at some point, right?)

And upon reaching the Center (and briefly checking that Terra and Gallade are doing okay), he also asks Heart for the Unown U he caught, and heads to Shiva's room to ask her about the three Unown letters that she caught. He has a good feeling that he'll find her there. (If you want to RP that a little, @PhantomUnderYourDesk, we can start with Nathan knocking on the door.)

Nathan also makes sure to ask Heart and Terra if they have any loaned pokeballs that they didn't use.  Would be nice to have those back.  (He'll ask Shiva, too, but that might be part of a short RPed scene)  @Spiritmon @Lord Windos

(If you want Terra to discuss some stuff with Nathan when he pops in to check on Terra and Gallade, we can RP that a little too if you want. Same goes for Heart on the way back to the Center, Spirit)

Heart takes the two TM's he get. "Feel free to look it Nats. But I want to get at least one of that TM. Ambipom literally risk his life to get those things. I want to get at least one of them." Heart give Nathan the Unow he have capture. (How much pokeballs Nathan gave to Heart?)

One moment, Terra was resolutely strolling towards MEW, calm and composed as he prepared to meet certain death from their terrible psychic power.

The next, he found himself jerking in surprise as he automatically recalled Melly and Basteele just seconds before Gallade rushed forward to the forcible rescue, his head snapping towards their direction, eye wide with surprise and panic.

Before he could shout for them to stop, the Proginitor's attack hit.

And then he knew naught more but Pain.

...

*Throb* *Throb* *Throb*

Pain. Sharp, jagged, pulsating Pain. Pain that lanced straight through his weak, pitful mind, sending his muscle into a twitching, spasming frenzy, tightly contricting his chest almost suffocation, and ravaging whatever else it and the latent, LEGENDARY Psychic energy could get its cruel hands on.

It was only through dint of his mountainous Will and fortitude that he didn't Faint on the spot, but that was just about the only thing he was capable of at that time, and only just so. 'Skull splitting headache' was no hyperbole for him at the moment, and it was doing a fine job of distracting and disorienting something fierce.

Due to this, the simple monk wasn't able to resist the empathetic paladin's Teleporting out of danger and to the Center - heck, he barely noticed from all the Pain. Oh, the Pain.

'Uuuuuuaaaaaargh! Hurts.....hurts! Make. it. Stop!'

Thankfully, his demands were answered with a swift double shot of Heal Pulses from Gallade, causing him to let out a loud *Groan* of relief as he was freed from that agony. Several minutes passed afterwards, eyes closed, panting, and pressed firmly against the psychic knight as he recovered from what he could from MEW's attack and slowly regained his bearings.

'Ah.....no more Pain. *Twitches* Hnn….Wrong.....but worst of it gone. ….How? Tiny Pink.....it hurt me badly. Very badly. ….But not kill. Hnn….should be dead....but am not. How? Ugh.....think....!'

Then, he remembered.

Everything.

Terra's eyes snapped open as he twisted his head to stare at Gallade.

Long, hard, unflitching, and piercingly critical.

The man's expression.....it was indescribable. Given the state of his head, so to were his emotions.

…To be honest, he didn't really know what to think....to feel about what they and their master did.

On one hand, it was thanks to them that he's alive and relatively unharmed right now, bravely and selflessly putting themselves in danger to Teleport him to safety and patch him up. Nobody - well, no human - have ever done that before. It spoke greatly of how much the boy cared for him, for it was at the very least enough to put life and limb on the line to save his own.

It was......shocking for the rugged wanderer, to put it mildly.

...However, that didn't change the immutable truth of the matter, and it was thus: In order for Nathan to have rescued him, they had put there and there own Pokémon's neck on the chopping block, ignoring his command for them to run and instead placing them in mortal peril. Unlike most other people, he was fully and utter prepared to die in order to do his all to safeguard the group. As a part of a duty, and because they were his friends. All of them KNEW that, and should have accepted that and got the heck out of danger while he sacrificed himself for their sake....

...But Nathan didn't. If things had turned out just a little bit differently....they could have been hurt. Or Killed. Or worse.  Along with his own partners. All because they recklessly put themselves in harm's way for him.

...

In the end, Terra didn't have anything to say to Gallade, and elected to limp to the Nurse for her to fully treat his injuries and ignore them for the time being. Notably, however, he didn't refuse their aid or push them away.

As for the Nurse's matter of fact response to him...

".....Yes. *Slowly shakes head* …Not messing with Unown ever again. Too....dangerous.'

Understatement of the century, right there.

*Transition: Moment Nathan Checks In on Terra*

The clever trainer would find the monk sitting at a table in the lobby, nursing a tall glass of some fruit juice while rubbing his temples.

Of course, both those actions were stopped the moment they made themselves aware to him.

Music: Howling Winds (Undertale)

Immediately, he turned to face them, standing up and looming over the boy as he expressionlessly and stared at them. Despite how.....ragged Terra appeared (physically and mentally), he struck an downright menacing figure, seemingly MORE Intimidating than ever before! Eep! Raising Terra's Intimidate to 3 for 12 XP (Leaving him with 1 left)!

This persisted for a few uncomfortable minutes....

….Until it was broken when Terra smartly chopped Nathan over the head. Not hard enough for it to count as a Strike, but with more than enough force for it to sting. If they dodged out of the way, they'd find themselves conked a second time/regardless by the monk's other hand meeting their skull. There was no avoiding it (Please).

".....Dumb. Very, very dumb."

His voice was firm, and his tone just as unyielding.

"....Was trying to save you. You....and the rest of the group. By doing my duty.....and for everyone. ….But you put yourself....put Gallade…..all your Pokémon in danger. That.....was very, very dumb thing to do."

He pauses, then shakes his head.

"....Ven said you could be.....reckless. Not listen to others...do what you want. ...Did not say you would act like that. Said you were smart and clever. Cared for all Pokémon greatly. Not dumb, stupid, and....insensitive. Like me. "

…The matter of fact way he put himself down to admonish Nathan was.....saddening, in a way, but all the more impactful for it. A few quiet seconds passed, before Terra crossed his arms and pinned the boy with a demanding glare.

"....Why? Why did you do such a.....dumb thing? Tell me why now."

For the record, Gallade doesn't really react to much of what Terra says or is thinking.  His one job right now is to help Terra, recover so that's what he's doing.

------------------

Nathan is unfazed by Terra's gaze. Why?

Because he has a comeback.  (He really could have done without getting smacked, though.  He's quite the frail little thing, after all...)

"...I could ask the same of you, Terra.  Few would just throw themselves at a massively powerful pokemon to save a bunch of people they only just met.  You're very, very lucky Gallade was there."

Nathan takes a seat and faces Terra.  (And is also trying to ignore the pain from getting smacked...ow...)

"...we work together as a team.  And if I can contribute to it by making sure everyone gets out alive, then by golly, I'm gonna do my part.  I'd rather not see anyone throw their life away to save everyone else's if it can be helped.  It's a precious thing, life..."

...

"...I do appreciate that you were willing to put yourself on the line to save us, Terra...but did you even consider if we had ways to get you out of there safely?  That's what I want to ask you.  What kind of a group are we if we don't work together?"

Gallade just lets Nathan talk and quietly meditates off to the side for now.

That response caused Terra to look off to the side, appearing....solemn, but adamant as he answered.

"....Because it is my duty. To protect everyone....no matter what. Made that promise to Ven....and to you. Shiva. Heart."

*Pauses, then looks back to Nathan*

"…...You are all special. Can't see it, or feel it....but I know. Done great things no one else could. ...Will do more in the future. …*Shakes head, then points to self* Not a part of that. Not now....maybe not ever. *Clenches hand into a fist* …But I can do my own duty. The very best I can. To keep you all safe. To make you all stronger. More prepared. ...So that you all can do your duty....and finish your journey."

Terra doesn't take a seat with the boy, but he's no longer looming Intimidatingly over them either, so the net result is still positive. He doesn't have anything to say about to their follow up, but he has begun to frown thoughtfully. "Hm..."

Their last response, however, earned them a look of surprise from the mountainous monk, followed by what appeared to be....chastised as he quickly looked away again.

"....No. Did not. Only could think of what I could do to protect you. Not what you could do to....protect me. Or you...wanting to...."

He trails off into silence, now looking and feeling distinctly uncomfortable and....confused.
