At that point, Nathan remembers something rather important.  "...oh yeah, almost forgot...here.  Hope ya don't need it, but it'd be safer fir Gallade if ya have this as well."  Nathan hands Terra Gallade's Dull Premier Ball.  "Just in case he needs to be recalled."

"....Huh. Never thought those things were....special. Just fun, good practice, and the ways I live. *Rubs back of his head in discomfort* …Usually not good with talking to others. Even....my own partners sometimes. Hard to understand....and many times say wrong thing. Or...to much. *Sighs* Always had....problems with talkings. *Pauses* But. ….But with you....everyone in the group....its been easier. Much easier. Don't know how, or why....*Smilles* ...but it makes me happy."

Both of Terra's eyebrows raised up slightly when they handed over Gallade's Premier Ball to him, somewhat taken aback as he stared at it for a second, before looking questioningly at them. It wasn't due to fact that the boy handed over the ball to begin with, as they did so for him to go get Anubi from Cress City, but rather the context and new underlying implications of the gesture. 


Unlike last time, which was just a simple errand/daytrip they enabled, they were entrusting their partner ENTIRELY to him as he traveled back to Ancestor Cave, a place of newly high risk and danger. It showed they either had great faith in him, was that worried for his own wellbeing, or, most likely, both. After their recent....exchange of ideals, such care was not overly surprising/baffling as it otherwise would have been, but it was none the less greatly humbling and slightly worrisome. 


….Was he really so worthy of a friend that they were so willing to put Gallade's life in his hands, without hardly a second thought?

"....*Nods* Okay. I will....take great care of Gallade, as he takes care of me. Promise."

In order to make room in his party for Gallade, he'll leave Melly behind in his PC after teaching her HP, before heading out. Heart would be stuck trying to beat on his room door and get no response, until they finally moved on. Sorry, but the simple monk simply wants to get his partners back fast. Simple as that!

When Terra reaches the cave, there's no sign of Mew. Meowth wanders up without concern. Typical cat.

Lapis is swimming anxious circles in the tarn, though. He's pretty relieved to see Terra, but it hasn't been all that long.


Inside the cave, there's still plenty of evidence of the battle, but no summoned creatures. The Unown have returned, but they act like Terra's not there. He completes his trip without problems. You already obtained all the treasure from the cave.

PM'd you Gallade's reactions, but he's happy to Teleport you back whenever. No need for a roll.

Eevee and Umbreon and Dittobreon are up for roaming the town! They troop along in single file, with Umbreon, then Ditto, then Eevee. Ditto always takes care of Eevee.

That sounds and looks incredibly adorable and makes Shiva as well as Raphael smile all the way to the Museum as she watches them, aww! They all can even stay out when Shiva and Nathan enter the building and meet up with Prof.Laurelin if they don't mind. If they display wishing to be recalled instead though, she'll do so.

Since I'm rather....busy, I'll keep things brief with this post.

- Terra's greatly relieved that MEW wasn't still lurking around, like the malevolent feline that it is/was. No evasive/emergency actions necessary this time, wheh!
- He raises an eyebrow at Tommy's non-chalance, before letting out a fond *Sigh* of relief that they are okay, giving them a quick inspection to see how they were fairing (And a good rub behind the ears for good measure!), before he's returned. The cat is back in the bag!
- Lovely, however, gets a hug from the big old lug, with him giving them reassurances that he's OK, and all is well with the group. If its possible, he'll give them a quick run down of what happened/they found in the cave, before revealing the second HP he obtained, and offers to teach them it on the spot in a kind way (Which is possible, since you said that a Pokedex could do that like a PC). 
-If its possible, Lapis would then test out the new Move on a empty stretch of land, in order for him and their master to see what happens!
-Finally, Terra gives Gallade the go ahead to Teleport them back to Cress, at which point he decides to go wait in the lobby for Nathan/Shiva to return before doing anything else, since he doesn't want the psychic knight and the boy being apart any longer than necessary, and he wants to go Forage Berries with Shiva after she's done talking with the good professor. He'll configure his party to have Dunsparse and Melly back in it, and if its possible he'll go into the Training Room in the Center to see what Melly's Hidden Power is too.

If anything else happens in the meantime, let it be known, but for now that's all Terra does/will do!

Lapis' move, taught to her in the pool above Ancestor Cave, sends a stream of teeny tiny blue stones at the ground!

It's a Double-Hit Canalize move, -1 accuracy, Rock type, with 2 power. The stones can be made into jewelry with a Craft check, and you gain (Successesx10) money for every action of this move (so x20 per use, basically). One Encounter can do a handful of these Crafts, though (using the same check result for them all). So you can save them up.


Melly learns a Fire Canalize move akin to Flamethrower, with the same stats as that move. Now she can roast her marshmallows before eating them. This move deals three extra dice of damage against wooden objects.

Let's see here...Nathan started with 13 pokeballs before Ancestor Cave.  Loaned two each to everyone else.  And of all of the pokeballs, Heart used 1 of them, Terra used none, Shiva used 2, Nathan used 3.  Nathan also gave 3 of them to Terra, so that leaves Nathan with...4 red pokeballs left.  Cool.

Now then, with all the Unown captured, it's time to head to meet Laurelin at the museum with Shiva to turn them in, revive the Claw Fossil, and ask the good professor a few questions.

Don't have much to add to the chat with Shiva atm other than Nathan patiently waits for Shiva to get her things together. And when he sees the Eevee family is coming along, he continues making sure he stays a respectful distance away from them. He doesn't want to make them too uncomfortable by standing too close, mostly because he's not sure what their current opinion of him is...

"I take it they're not doing something correctly?  In any case, hello again, Professor.  Got you those Unown you wanted.  A, C, T, G, and U.  Need to talk to you about Ancestor Cave, too.  Also, Professor Laurelin, this is Shiva.  Shiva, Professor Laurelin.  Shiva wants to ask you some questions, so she asked me if she could come along."

"A, C, T, G, and U! That's what I half-expected. Of course, I didn't want to bias the experiment by hinting to you there would likely be only certain letters...did you see any other Unown while you were there?"

"Some of my interns will think this is an astonishing coincidence. But I can tell you, it is no coincidence! I think the causality goes the other way. Pokemon influence on the language of Common is very, very high, and I think this is yet another example of that. And I don't think it's coincidence that only the letters standing for the building blocks of DNA - adenine, cytosine, guanine, thymine, and sometimes uracil - were present in Ancestor Cave. I think early comets brought these Pokemon to our world, and somehow they came to make up all life! A lot of conjecture, yes. But think of the studies it suggests!!"

"Somehow, Unown are responsible for the reality of biology. I'm sure of it!"
