The mountainous man only nodded back to Nathan, reaching down to keep a firm grip on his Electric Fenrir to prevent her for rushing off and giving the baby Pokémon a good thorough sniffing/nosing. Neither he nor the boy should have been THAT worried, however, as Melly was so focused on slowly devouring/savoring her self melted marshmallows that she was barely paying anyone else mind.

Seeing the smol shrimp caused his eyebrows to bob in surprise, letting out a quiet *Hmm....* as he studied them, before looking back to the clever trainer.

"An Anorith? Hm...very rare Pokemon. Wanted one long time ago, but could never find Claw Fossil. *Smile* Happy to just see one, though. *Nods* Know you will care well for them, so its in good hands. Nice job, Nathan."

With that said, Terra feel silent, as he really had nothing more to say until Shiva got back to him on his offer to take them Berry Hunting/Playdate with Genie. That's all!

Shiva was caught a little off-guard upon noticing that her most dear Fluffball has seemingly left her side as she had her attention on the family of Eevees she took care of, but she didn't grew worried or startled by Cottonee having done that. She's well aware that she usually doesn't do that and loyally stays by Shiva's side always... Well, except when something really catches the grassy fairy, as not even her sweet Master was safe from the mischievously-playful attitude of her Starter and her tendency to outplay her hidden love her pranks. Not that Shiva minds - on the contrary, that playfulness was something that adds a lot to the love Shiva holds for her Startermon, and to her liking for fairies in general!

Quickly she spotted WHAT has allured Cottonee from her side, it brought a little smile accompanied with an impercible sigh to her as she carefully approached the table that Terra, his electric wolf and the others occupied. Though she prefered to keep herself a little in the background and not say anything more than friendly greetings upon being noticed herself, silently watching how Cottonee thankfully nom'ed the neatly roasted marshmallows the mountain of a man offered her. The reason for that was simple: The pleasant smell of roasted marshmallows brought back memories to the young female, in particular memories of the bonfire in Arrowroot Village, memories of her preparing for the Ritual there, of Azurill glowing in a blue light and becoming a sweet sweet Marill, and of course of...she and Ventus sharing a first yet accidental and embarrasing kiss with one another, before he fainted into her lap due to being overwhelmed by that. Such were moments she'll likely never forget and made the journey through the region worth while... Now though, it brought a wave of sentimentality to her. Mixed feeling, but with the warm and positive ones outnumbering the sad ones...


Due to being so reminiscent and lost in thoughts, she mostly only half-listened what has been discussed among the others, and mildly perked up in suprise when Terra adressed her directly. What he said, about her letter made him feel special and cared for, brought him an embarassed chuckle in response that Cottonee emphasized with a ^o^- expression towards him. "Is that so...? That...lovely to hear, indeed! You, eh...don't need to promise me anything, just...keep on protecting us the way you do, haha..." After that's been said, she grew quiet again, and awkward silence cloaked her.

Though the offer that followed after that quickly raised her mood again, and the idea of Genie, that mischievous faelike Flygon she already had pleasure to see briefly in the Introductory Battle a while ago, brought some sparkles rushing through her eyes again. Cottonee gave her Master a look that practically BEGGED to meet that weird Pokemon being mentioned here, melting Shiva's heart in an instant. "Yesyesyes, that's a... great idea, Terra! I'm having some time, and would...rejoice to meet her... I'm feeling it IS a good thing!~ And... Sounds like a fine opportunity to discuss a few things... So, ehm, let me just pick up a Pokemon from the PC and then we can get going, alright? I'll...wait for you outside."


Due to that, she had to kindly deny Nathan's offer to meet the Pokemon he got revived from the Fossil by the good professor, bringing up that 'Fossil Pokemon were never really her thing or liking, and that too many people surrounding it may only serve to alienate the young one'. "I'm sorry for that", she added also, "But... I'm sure it's in good hands by staying with you.... Until later or tomorrow then, to you as well Heart." Off she is, with Cottonee making a heartfelt leap to follow her.

With that said she takes a leave of the table then, making a swift way to Bill's PC in order to pick up Tanuki again for the free slot that the shiny Unown U left. (Means, her party now consists of the Eevee Family, Raphael, Cottonee and Tanuki, Genie can meet Shiva's other fairies at a different time. For now it'll 'only' be her, Cottonee and Raphael!) Umbreon, Dittumbreon and young Eevee can stay outside as well during the whole scene, sleeping, helping finding Berries or simply doing their own thing as long as they don't wander off too far. (Are they up to that at all, @Iron?)


As promised, she'll be waiting outside of the Center for Terra, having the family of Eevee by her side, Raphael hovering close to her and Cottonee sitting enthroned on her Master's head again while Tanuki occassionally threw glances up there from her place on Shiva's right shoulder. This place wasn't bad at all to be honest though, and she would receive just as many dear strokes through her fur like the wad of cotton! While waiting, Shiva also drew the disk coding mystical Dazzling Gleam, showing and explaining this item to both the fluffball and the archangel. (Reactions has already been given. Just now Shiva doesn't teach the move, but it's the moment she decides which of these two will learn it.)

When Terra eventually arrives, she waves and makes a step towards him in a coy but friendly manner, anticipitation being rather obvious in her expresisona nd body language. "So, ehm... Hi again! You know any good places around where we're having good chances to find some Berries? And, uhm... when we're done with searching, may I see these tiny blue gemstones again, please?"

That comment served well to distract him from the haphazardous antics of Heart, removing their hand from their face and giving Nathan a nod of his head, looking calmly intrigued at the prospect. Fossil Pokémon were extraordinarily rare even back home, so he was curious to see what the clever trainer ended up getting revived....

"Thank you Nats. Thats Pokedollars will indeed help quite a lot in buying some important items. *Nods* Sure! Lets meet your new friend. Friends its always a good. But make it quick if possible. I still have a Gym battle to go, and I delay too much already. My pokemons from this might already be heal to get ready to go!"

"Oh, don't worry Heart, it shouldn't take long.  I've got things I need to do this evening too.  Now then, everyone be gentle.  He's still basically only a baby.  If you could make sure Melly doesn't overexcite him, Terra, that'd be great."

Out comes Nathan's new Anorith!  He ends up in the middle of the table, where everyone can see him.  Nathan leans over the table so he's looking right at Anorith, eye to eye.  "Hey there little guy.  How ya feeling?"

Heart was melting in see such rare and cute pokemon. "Awww. A baby Anorith :3 I envy you Nats. In my travel to Mirage Tower back in Hoen, I was forced to giving up the fossil I have found even after I was hunted by a giant stone Delta Metagross. I was very sad in that time."

Cottenee and Shiva's varied responses to his forthright statement earned them both curious stare, as he didn't quite understand why they were acting like so, before shrugging it off and nodding back to her (Shiva). Must be women thing, or something else he's missing...

"Very well. Not ever going to stop keeping you safe. Ever. So do not worry, Shiva. Okay?"The Fairy woman's ecstatic agreement to his offer earned her a closed eye chuckle from the rugged man as he nodded, now feeling better than ever about his prospect of becoming a good friend to her after such enthusiastic reaction.

'Shiva not uncomfortable around me. Good, very good. Now need to make sure playdate with Genie goes well, or things might become....not peaceful between us again. Don't want that at all....'

While Shiva was in quite a hurry to get started on their Berry Hunt, Terra decided to take it slow, sticking around long enough to see Nathan's Anorith and offer his own two cents on the new pair, as his curiosity demanded it. Hopefully she wouldn't mind the small delay!

A short trip to the PC to switch out Tommy for his Fairy Princess Genie in his party later (Can't forget the star of the playdate, now!), and he strolled out of the Center to meet up with Shiva, smiling warmly as he first gazed on the motley crew of Pokémon. No matter how often he see Shiva's innate talent with Pokémon, it never fails to being joyful or amazing...

"*Looks a bit confused at her greeting, before waving to her* ….Hello? Hm.....*Nods* ….Yes, I do. There is a big field outside of town, full of Berries and other nice plants. Found lots of good Berries, and those flowers I gave you. *Points towards [Insert Location Here]* It is that way. *Gives Shiva a curious look at her request, before nodding again* Okay. Why, though?"

Before either could begin to make any headway towards the location of the aforementioned field, the Dusk Ball on Terra's belt starts to shake wildly, before it wrenched itself free and fell to the ground! Naturally startled by this, the mountainous man couldn't react to this fast enough before the ball opened wide, and out popped the Dragon Djiini of the Desert Genie, who was striking eagerly playful pose upon materializing! Then, without missing a beat, she gracefully pivoted in the air to turn towards her fellow fae beings + foxes, and gave the jazz hands to them all with an almost coy, teasing, and definitely provocative smirk. Ta-daaaaah~!


There we go! One of her most devious tricks, combined with some pizazz and fanciful flair, in order to pull off a most stunning and surprising greeting! How's THAT for a properly fiendish introduction?

Yes, they're still acting like wild Pokemon in that they love to explore and run around outside. It is a bit like herding cats, though.

Oh... That quite feels like a double-edged sword for Shiva, as while she enjoys seeing how they're having their fun and making the most out of the offered free time, she kinda has to pay attention that they don't run off TOO far, in which case she'd either make haste to guide them back to the field she's lurking at with Terra, Genie and the others, trust in Tanukizoon shepherding them the way she did when the events at Ancestor Cave became wild or in serious cases recall them into their Ball and summon them to her side again to tell them in a friendly yet firm tone that one does not wander away too far from one's caretaker. Maybe that's the reason why she 'only' made it to find a bush carrying common Chesto Berries.

Despite being somewhat lost in thought and sweetish memories, Shiva soon picked up the wondering and curious stare the mountainous man gave her, which, much to her own suprise, brought the hint of a blush to her face before she was quick to look away to the side and giving him a waving hand gesture of 'It's okay, nevermind, forget it, d-don't...worry!' It DOES seem to be a women thing, but she also hasn't forgotten that Terra was actually the only one who securely knows that she and Ven were, well, dating. Uh... She just decided to trust that he doesn't spill the beans towards the others of the group...

Cottonee in the meantime, couldn't help but to laugh joyfully about seeing her sweet Master being flustered all of a sudden. Always a fun sight, aww!~

"I-I will not worry! How can one do so about safety if... if someone of your build and strength is nearby... All's well! Now, if you excuse me..." she told, before making her mentioned u-turn to Bill's PC. Guess she just threw another concealed compliment at him more accidently than on purpose, but even if he doesn't get that the message should be (hopefully) clear!

As soon as Terra arrived, Shiva jumped up from the bench she was sitting and waiting at with all her Pokemon, very eager to finally get going. Any flustered feelings or shyness seemed to be blown away by the few minutes she waited, and she gazed into the direction he pointed to with rare wanderlust hidden in her gaze. "Yes, I remember these flowers! I read about the gardener who bred them in Unova already... If we happen to find many maaany more, they can be made into a salve to cure muscle pain and swelling even. But, eh, that's not priority, it's other plants I'm on the lookout more!"

In response to his counterquestion why she wished to see these tiny blue gemstones from previously a little closer, she gave him a knowing smile. "Oh, that's... Eh, that's mostly because I am quite decent in crafting things from various items and things, and from the first look I'm sure that I'd be...able to turn them into jewelry or use them to decorate other Crafting Projects of mine, if you'd let me... I-I'm somewhat having the feeling also that one of my Pokemon, a rare one sporting Fairy AND Dragon Type, would quite enjoy them..." She pauses shortly before continuing, faces him when she does. "How comes that you are...aware of their value though, or about the need to cut them properly before they can be sold... Is it, maybe, something you learned about at home in Hoenn?" Good guess.

Though before anything more could be discussed or shared or even answered, the Dusk Ball met the ground and as if Genie has sensed Shiva or real fairies around, she made a truely FABULOUS debut as if to scream a 'Hello! Here I am, ready for things, what can we don now together?' to the resident fae enthusiast. Contrary to Terra she wasn't startled by that in the slightest, but more like...highly amused by the Desert Princess' exuberant greeting. In fact, Shiva quickly turned towards Genie with a delightful smile that somewhat meant NOTHING good/displayed some eager for mischief, and raised her open hands towards the Flygon for a high-five of hands meeting claws. Seems completely unafraid of the dragon! "Hello, Genie! Nice to see you again~ Doing good, I assume? You Master said you'd be happy to get to know me and my real fairies a bit more, my pleasure!"

(Can I actually leave Cottonee's and Raphael's reaction to Genie's jolly greeting to GM? I'm sure Cottonee would LOVE it and react in a similar way like Shiva does, but I'm not sure about Raphael..)

Cottonee chuckles and flaps her leaves, and uses Growth to get closer to Genie's size. Raphael feels slightly competitive and climbs high into the sky.

But only after we've trained enough and you learned a Fairy Type move under my care, okay? That'd be... your first time of attempted dragonslaying, haha! How does that sound to you, and... how about you, Genie? Terra? Up for that at some point?" Given the faint sparkles in Shiva's eyes behind the glasses, she kinda enjoys the thought.

The aquatic bug stares back at Nathan for a good few minutes.  Then he yawns...and goes to sleep on the spot.  He's still fairly tired.

As for how Nathan reacts to everyone else's reactions...

Terra: "Claw Fossils are actually the most common fossil in this region.  The Botanville Shale to the south apparently has a lot of them.  If you found one and were willing to do a task of some kind for Laurelin to cover the rather expensive cost of fossil revivification, you could get one too."

Heart: No major comments here.

Shiva: No verbal comments from Nathan here.  A small part of him is a little saddened that Shiva's not taking any interest in stuff that he happens to enjoy.  Again.  Who cares if it's a fossil pokemon?  Nathan doesn't.  Yeah, that's cool, but it's not the most important thing to him by a long shot...a pokemon is a pokemon, no matter what kind.

Moving on, though...Nathan eventually recalls Anorith into his pokeball and motions to Gallade to get ready to go.

"Well, need to get going now.  Have a few things I need to do before the day is over.  I'll see you guys later."

Nathan heads over to the PC to rearrange his party a little.  Aside from Gallade, he currently has on hand:
- Ditto
- Rhea
- Carvanha
- Forthright
- Emolga

So, first order of business: taking Carvanha outside and giving her some TLC for the day with Rhea's assistance, as per usual.  Give her a good scrub, give her some treats, let her enjoy the rain...all within the confines of a tiny inflatable pool or a fountain,

Well that just won't do, will it?

When Nathan saw that there were Hidden Power TMs, that got him thinking...maybe Carvanha would get some benefit out of it?  Maybe?  At the very least, it could teach her a ranged attack of some kind...he likes the young little fishy a lot, but even he has to admit that traveling trainers don't raise fish pokemon like Carvanha and Goldeen for a reason.  So if there's even a slim chance that Hidden Power could help him justify keeping Carvanha, well, why wouldn't he give teaching it to her a shot?

So it's not long before Nathan finds himself holding that TM and his pokedex in front of the Rough Skinned fishy with incredibly sharp teeth.  "A little present, just for you, Carvanha.  I hope ya like it."  And moments later, Carvanha learns Hidden Power.

So the only question that remains is: what exactly does it do?  Time for Carvanha to test it out so we can see!
