Okay, Coil has a 9D6 Accuracy thanks to Terra now having 3 Intimidate, so I'll dedicate 4 Dice to it in its own round (5D6 Action Roll). Hidden Power Rock is a Multi-hit Move, so only 3 Dice from each will be removed, or 6/5D6 Dice for the Action Rolls for each and 6 Total Dice to Preform. Twister will have 6 Dice dedicated to Preform, leaving it with 4D6 Action Roll. Finally, Disarming Voice will have an Action Roll of 1 or 2D6 Dice (Since its Always Accurate, and never Miss!), with 6-7 of its Accuracy Dice (Normal roll for it is DEX + Fight + Allure = 7D6 Dice) being dedicated to Perform, depending on whether or not Coil buff procs. That should be all!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

(Ah, then I'll go by Shiva never having heard of him before coming to Creshire as she got into into the TCG here.)

Nope, Morgusi answering her question doesn't do a thing to distract Shiva from her obvious nervousness, she's even having a very hard time to really look at him when he speaks. Her picking up that he's watching Raphael hovering beside her does a fine job to increase it even more! She seems to subliminally tremble of excitement and delight however with a slight smile developing in her vivid blush after that weird shiver caused by the.... the unmistakable sense of power within his words has passed. Somehow she feels sure that this man here was....how to describe it at best...? Special? No, that feels like an understatement... Extraordinary? Maybe. More than human??! What a curious thought.

Raphael himself probably notices being watches as well, he seems to like the attention though. He ruffles his feathercoat a little  and tries to give himself as graceful as possible. Aww!

His wording ives her indeed a rather odd feeling, but she also quite enjoys what he has to share about observation, especially the part about the slight changes in everyday's life due to what Pokemon far away do. She was about to ask (if she'd dare) how he is able to gain the inspiration and source from Pokemon that have barely to no chances to show up here in Cress City, even if brought by a Trainer. It almost gives her headaches to think about why he speaks that way, though at the same tome she can't help the dreamy sparkle in her eyes and to eagerly nod. "Y.....Yes, I see! H-how you...are inspired for the....act of painting by-by observing things. Ah...... B-but... I-if I may ask, w-what would be an e-example for these slight changes in life due...due to the antics of faraway P...pokemon? I-I... would be happy to...keep an eye on these as well... Sounds so...beautiful. I....it's saddening that one day none w-will....create such precious..... artworks for cards an-anymore."

Speaking about keeping an eye, are there any hints to own Pokemon here in the room or around? Any pet Pokemon or so? That's something that quite interests Shiva as well, such a huge house for oneself..!

It takes Shiva all the willpower and strength she can scratch up to ask the following also at some point later, probably around the time they're preparing to leave again. In fact, with a visibly shivering hand she offers a card depicting an Oddish to Morgusi. "Would you.... I-I mean, would it be okay for you to.... to sign this card for me? It's my...very first one... I won't tell or show a-a....anybody and keep it o-only for myself."

He signs your card without thinking. +$2000 to its value, just like that. Of course, then you'd have to part with it...

*rolls Alert*

Shiva doesn't see any sign of any pet Pokemon at all. She even gets a good luck at Morgusi's belt and sees no Pokeballs there.

"When a Beautifly flaps its wings in Corsage Port, that has implications for the weather in Charring Cross. And when Heatran stirs himself in the depths of Mt. Molten, perhaps a Teddiursa goes off the trail, and scares a Picnicker, who ventures south instead of north, and buys a flower from a little girl in Cress City, and she and her smile pass under my window in the rain. That is all part of Heatran's journey, and I would need to know it before I could make a true painting of him."

"Ah, Ismat, that does sound familiar. I believe I've had correspondence with one of your parents or grandparents. Or great-grandparents! Perhaps they had a Pokemon story for me, or commissioned some art back before it took me so long to finish a simple painting...though those paintings were always a bit less true."

When Lapis appears, Morgusi just stops talking to Shiva and Nathan, and a charcoal appears in his hand. He's drawing on one of the medium-sized easels that hold portrait-sized paper.

Coil
(2)(6)(6)(6) (1)(4)(4)(4)(5) +2 = 6 perform

Hidden Power 1&2
(4)(3)(2)(1)(1)(4) (6)(2)(4) = 5 perform
(4)(4)(6)(1)(2) (3)(6)(6) = 4 perform

Twister
(4)(1)(2)(5) (3)(1)(3)(6)(5)(5) = 5 perform

Disarming Voice
(3) (1)(1)(6)(3)(2)(5)(3) = 3 perform

Total: 23 perform. Lapis' movements are short enough to hold Morgusi's intense attention - that all took only about 30 seconds, for Lapis to coil up, fling a fountain of blue pebbles into the air, twist the air into a beautiful draconic column, and shout to burst it. Morgusi's current mood is more visual, so this last bit doesn't make as much of an impression as his spectacular dancing and fountaining.

"Very good! Now hold still for two minutes...don't make a sound..."

He begins sketching with the charcoal, just a few parallel strokes conveying so much action, just a few stipples conveying so much energy and, really, Earthpower.

"That will be enough to affix my memory. I thank you, Terra! I will gladly make a card for you - any Pokemon you wish! It takes me many many days, but in my free time I will work on it for you. The same goes for all your friends, Oscar - tell them they can bring me rare and beautiful Pokemon to sketch and I will reward them with cards."

Oscar is pleasantly surprised by this extremely generous offer - it is an astoundingly huge reward for such a small task. Nathan would be particularly aware of the magnitude of this generosity, having known about Morgusi his entire life. It'd be like if the Champion gave you a Big Bullion for opening a door for him. It's mind-mindbogglingly generous.

"*Nods* Yes....sounds right. My family......appreciates you works of art, so they buy them whenever they can. Been long time since I thought of this, so memory may be......fuzzy."

It should be noted that Terra is respectful to august artist, but in a straightforward and semi-casual way, like with a favorite teacher or person look up to. Whether or not that matters is up to them, but I'd like to think they appreciate someone that's interested but not TOO much so in their passion.

Additionally, the simple monk has almost no idea about the meaning of Keni's description of how he does his art (both deep and plain), but can faintly sense/determine they are significant Insights, and so he silently memorizes their words.

*Later on, when Terra returns to Keni....*

Terra was momentarily astonished by the MONUMENTAL boon he was being gifted by the captivating card maker, as like Nathan he too was all too aware of just how astronomically prized and invaluable such a commission was. Doubly so, even, due to his and his family being admirers/buyers of Keni's art - and the often exorbitant prices it commanded. The fact that he was being given this offer for practically a pittance on his part made it all the more unbelievable and shocking to him....

His thunderstruck disbelief didn't linger for too long, however, as his good and proper manners deeply ingrained by his parents kicked into high gear, allowing him to recover and deeply bow to Mr. Morisugi, returning their own thanks in a simple, yet refined way.

"I thank you too, sir. For giving me and my Lapis Lazuli the privilege of meeting with you, and for your generosity. If it would truly not be trouble for you, I will accept you offer, and request a signed card of my Milotic. I wish to.....preserve his beauty , so that it may be....preserved and appreciated by others for many years to come. If I catch more beautiful Pokemon, I will share them with you too. Again, I thank you, Wise Man...."

Mr. Morgusi is relatively humble, or at least he doesn't have an ego. He doesn't have a whole bunch of rules and etiquette he demands from the peasant folk. Anyone who's not outright rude is fine with him, and it seems like he's taken a liking to you on the instant of seeing you.

Similarly, he doesn't try to correct Terra about the term "Wise Man." He understands that's just Terra's idiosyncratic way of talking. He treats it like you called him "Sir" or at best "Sensei."

"I hope you two never lose that love of performing! Perhaps if I do my job properly the truth of Milotic's passion for art will be preserved. So maybe it is a good choice! I remind you however that I will make a card for any Pokemon you can name and it doesn't have to be one I'm looking at or one you are bonded with but any Pokemon whose actions are written on the wind outside my window."

While Morgusi is watching Lovely perform, Nathan's pulled the birthday card out of his bag and is looking at the picture of the FLYing Skarmory veeerrry carefully...scratches, chinks in the armor, the general shape of various body parts...how similar does the depicted Skarmory look to Marco's, if at all?

-------------------

Of course, as soon as Keni Morgusi offers to paint cards of their rare pokemon for every member of the party, Nathan looks up in pure, unfiltered astonishment that surpasses even Terra's.

He doesn't know what to say at first.

But he does know which pokemon he wants Mr. Morgusi to depict in a card.  However...

"...that...that would be amazing, Mr. Morgusi.  A huge honor.  The pokemon I have in mind, though...well, would it be possible for you to do one depicting Mesprit?  I have another one in mind if not, but..."

It'd mean a lot to Nathan if he could see Mesprit happy and free.  He hopes the Embodiment of Emotion is, wherever it's gone...maybe Morgusi will be able to convey that.  Maybe.

Discerning a particular Skarmory from this little card-sized print is a bit tough.

Their answer brings a wide smile to the simple monk's face as he bows his head in gratitude once more.

"Then Latios it will be. Thank you. May you create many masterpieces now and forever that will bring joy to you and all, Wise Man..."

Saying that, he straightened up and walked back to join his friends, and choose to silently observe the proceedings until it was time for the group to bid farwell and continue their journey. For now, he'll continue to smile, as the though of a dream comming true in some fashion made him fell fulfilled in ways he could scarcely describe...

'Will take a little longer.....but I will see Latios at last. Guess Mama was right: 'Good things comes to those that try, or those that wait.' He....'

"That shouldn't be a problem.  I've encountered a few really rare ones here and there and managed to befriend them.  One of them is even a bit of a Performer herself, though she still has to hone and diversify her skills a little...I'm sure she'll be glad to show you what she can do when she has, though!"

Nathan tilts his head curiously.

"...if I may ask, though, why are Reshiram, The Flame of Truth, and Mesprit, The Embodiment and Sealer of Emotions, so easy to depict in a picture?"

---------

Hmmmm....where was it Keni said one could be a Skarmory?  Left on Cress Street, North on Water Street...

"...if you don't mind me also asking this for clarification, is the location you just gave directions to where you imagined this Skarmory was using FLY, Mr. Morgusi?"
