- $10,500 = 7 Shiny Dwebble Shells (there's 10 total)
- 2 Days of Training (?)
- 1 Thief TM (around $3k)
- 1 Sitrus Berry ($600)
- 2 Persim Berries ($800)
Total: $14,900 + 2 Days of Training
- 1 Miracle Rod (? value because it's a unique item not on the market)
- 1 Training Claw ($600)
- 1 Super Potion ($700)
- 1 Hyper Potion ($1200)
- 2 Full Heals ($1200)
- 1 Great Ball ($600)
- 2 Ultra Balls ($2400)
- 1 Revive ($1500)
- 7 Days of Training (?)
Total: $8200 + Miracle Rod + 1 Week of Training
Honestly, I'd rather not bog down Heart with a week long obligation while we're on the road. So I think @"Lord Windos" wins out here because he set the bar so high in terms of raw value. Plus, Basteele can't learn SR normally, while Iron and D-Onix can (and D-Onix can even get it relatively cheaply, too)
However, I would still like that Miracle Rod if you're willing to part with it, @Spiritmon. Won't be getting a Stealth Rock TM out of it, but I'm willing to work something else out in exchange for it.
Question, though, Windos: how did Terra get a Thief TM?
I have no trouble in letting Terra keep the Stealth Rock. But if I remember Gargryph learn that move too correct?
About the Miracle Rod, I want to keep it for now. It is good have a item useful as that one.

Quote @ Dragonstrike: 'Flashbacking to the meeting Dunsparce thing, Nathan does feel just a tad left out when Terra asks for Shiva's help with Dunsparce. He's fairly certain Forthright and Dunsparce might like each other, given how cuddly Dunsparce seems to be...well, maybe he can bring that up later. It's an idea, though he doesn't voice it now.'
I more or less forgot about that and Nathan's experience with ranching/raising Pokemon on a ranch (via the portfollio and their private conversation), so by extention I guess Terra forgot about those things too. Oops! I can make him remember those things if you want, though!

That's partially why I want to do the 'let's ask Dunsparce about the shiny thing' scene. Him getting along well with the young serpent could be a good memory jogger

I personally want to wait on that scene until Iron confirms/denies the effectives of Stealth Rocks + Spikes together, as that will inevitably change to contents of that conversation. Is that alright, mate?

Thanks for being a good sport about this, Spirit. Gargryph might be able to learn it? If it's not in its level up moves, it'd need GM approval and the TM/tutoring, though.
Alrighty then. If you change your mind later, let me know and I'll think about what I can offer for it.

I guess. Don't really have to mention the TM until we're done with Dunsparce, though, tbh.

Fair enough, now that you mention it. Doing some HW right now, though, so let me finish that before I get to posting.

You can certainly have both in the games.
Expending 2 actions to deal 2 damage to every (well, most) incoming Pokemon doesn't seem OP. Dragonstrike what do you think?
I think they should stack. Both because they stack in the games, and because they're technically 2 different effects since one of them can't hit flying/levitating pokemon unless some special effects/items are in play.
Do I think it's OP? Kinda, yeah. It's why most competitive teams at least have SR at the minimum, though, and why Spikes stacking was so dominant in gens 2 and 3. Chipping off HP every time your opponent switches is an amazing effect, particularly if you take off 10-25% each time. Of course, it's less effective in pokerole due to the nature of multiple actions, but immediately forcing (almost) all of your opponent's pokemon into -1 Pain range is still fairly strong.
Considering that 2 HP is going to be 20-25% of most fully evolved pokemon's health (the 8-10 max HP stuff), it seems mostly in line with what's possible in the actual games. 3 layers of spikes is 25% to grounded mons, SE SR is 25% to types weak to it.
The fact that the entry hazards were nerfed in pokerole means you have stack both SR and Spikes to get the most out of it, whch vastly promotes variety in team composition. Which I think is a great thing. Spikes is also a rather rare move, all things considered, and most SR users are going to be Rock and/or Ground types of some variety with the limited TM compatability.
In short, it's a strong combo, but few trainers are going to have both on a single pokemon. Forretress is one of those rare pokemon that can do it because entry hazards are kinda their sole niche. I think it's fine for the moves to stack with each other, but not themselves.
Then let it be so.

No problems mate. I must confess it was cool in bidding to get that item. Never had that kind of experience before in any role-playing game so I cool. But I would like have some training still with Nathan after my future battle against Terra. I still owe the battle after I have fortreit. Caesar and D-Onix might like have a battle. D-ONIX vs D-Hound.
Still have problems with internet so I bid a farewell for now
