@Lord Windos, Terra hasn't really reacted much to the Clamperl Pearl yet from what I can tell. I think now might be a good time for him to do so if he'd react in a notable way to seeing such a rare item.

Terra didn't react to seeing it during their first battle with Nathan, so I'd say he when he sees it he's quietly surprised/impressed, but doesn't raise much of a fuss or comment on it. Also, there's always the chance that Ventus could have told him earlier about all the Held Items that all charas had, so even more reason not to be surprised, really.

Have a question now, though: What this whole deal about Time Loops, Portable Time Capscles , and information transfer? ALL of it confused me, so I'm flying blind in regards to that right now...

It should be noted that Terra's not really paying attention to Bill's Explanations, as he has other stuff to be focused on and its a bit too much for him to easily comprehend. My chara's the muscle and protection of the group, not the brains, so I'm perfectly fine if he's left out of the loop here!

Oh well, I don't know why but you're so cute when you're confused by something and/or puzzle-related things. Lolz!~ You're sure though that Terra can be left out on things? It'd be good if he'd at least agree or disagree in-game on wearing that portable Time Capsule concealed as a wristwatch.

Uh, I can only speak from my point of understanding, but from the look of it these lurch glitches are directly related to Time. In fact, whenever we're experiencing one, we seemingly 'trading time' as Bill said using the same principle as if trading a Pokemon, though it's not clear whether we're really travling in time, sending some perception back there or exhanging information. Think of it in the way of how in the Gen.2 Games it is possible to trade with a Gen.1 Game using the in-game Time Capsule under particular circumstances. With the portable Time Capsule we can stay in contact with Bill in case we get stuck in one of these lurch glitches as well as send him information when experiencing one. I hope that clears things a little for you.

*Shrugs* What can I say, but that I'm terrible at puzzles or cryptic stuff unless it becames blatentely obvious in some manner? Admiting to it at least saves me the trouble of trying ot figure out puzzles without a roll and therefore saves us time, so I'm not ashamed by my lack of skill in brainteasers!

Terra probably politely refuse to wear the T.C.Braclet, as (A. He wouldn't want to carrying something so experimental/sciency around, since he'd wouldn't have a clue how to use it within a decade, (B. Its Bill's Exp. Tech. , and he doesn't want to break or cause it to malfunction due to his boneheaded, and (C. I and him just don't think its strictly necessary to have one, or even all that useful. If everyone else wants to have it, though, they'll be no objections IC or OOC, so go nuts with it!

Ah. Hm...makes more sense now, though I feel that I'm/we are still missing a few important details here. Oh well, they'll be revealed in due time, so I'm not going to worry about it.

*chuckles lightly, then leans in to gift you a hug* So cute and innocent, indeed.

Of course we're lacking fine details, while it'd be certainly practical to have all information right away it'd also be rather boring. I'm feeling positive things will make more sense if we're progressing, maybe it'll even end in an exciting showdown or so. If Terra doesn't want to have one of the Time Capsule Wristwatches that's fine as it's his decision, but I definitely wish for one if being confirmed in what I/Shiva think it is supposed to serve as.

...*ahem*...uh, @Spiritmon, Nathan's current conversation with Bill is entirely separate and private from the rest of the group atm...i.e., Heart's not in that conversation.

If I may make a few counter arguments...

A) You don't have to understand how every little thing works in a device to know how to use it.  And in this case, it even sounds like Bill is doing most of the work for us

B) Chances are Bill developed that tech specifically for us.  Before Laurelin asked him to investigate this, what reason would he have had to make such items?  He certainly wasn't sending humans back in time himself, after all

C) If we do get stuck in the past (and if my gut feeling is right, chances are we will eventually), it'd be much easier if everyone affected had a watch of their own in the event we somehow get separated.  Being able to access your PC and items from the future (as long as the pokemon/item existed in the past) is incredibly useful.  No watch, and you're stuck with whatever you have on hand in unfamiliar lands.

Hmm....good counter arguments, but I still would prefer not to take a T.C.Braclet for character reasons and as a challenge for myself. Terra's pretty much the best at Survival and toughing it out in all sorts of scenarios, and pretty much any combination of Pokemon on his team is great for just about any situation, so getting caught in a time warp and sent back probably wouldn't have much of an adverse impact on him. The group being forcibly split due to time warps would suck for sure, but I doubt Iron would keep us all permanently apart or leave us stranded in the past, so that's a risk I'm willing to take.

Unless the T.C.Bracelts act as portable PCs for the modern era, however. THAT would be something Terra and I would be willing to lug around and haphazardly handle for the sheer utlitiy alone!

As for Bill making these devices in the first place.....well, the impression I got is that he's a bit of an eccentric scientist, so I wouldn't put it past him to make just about anything on the fly if the idea was interesting enough.
