[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

That's the sound of Nathan shutting his super thick journal.

"...hmmm...so you're from Sinnoh, Spira?  What brings you to Creshire, if I may ask?"  @Mikaruge108

"Various things, mostly the rumors I heard of strange pokemon and strong trainers." "Seems that a strange pokemon found me."
{BTW if GM approves here are the effects for the Gastly Stew: +4 HP for Ghost types, +2 HP for other pokemon}

That'll be fine if you spend 75$ on ingredients and pass a Crafts check!

Yeah, Chupacho feels absolutely no loyalty to you after you beat it up and captured it. He's a wild spirit. And you clearly interrupted him in important bloodsucking work.

(Trainer gets to pick the gender of most captured Pokemon; is male OK?)

Concerning the check, sure let's do it. (OOC note not like the food can turn out any worse...)
and yeah, male is fine. Also, how much health did the Sitrus Berry add?
"Hmm. How does the name 'Pachi' sound?" (Despite not wanting to take the pokemon out of it's environment, until he figures out what to do with it he'll take it {Is it okay to leave it out of Spira's team roster until that IC decision is made?})

He offers the Sitrus Berry to the Pokemon to eat.(@Iron, Chupacho's reaction?) {OOC note "egg group" ought to catch their attentions}

(Sitrus Berries restore either 3 HP or 1 Lethal damage, so Chupacho currently has 4 HP)

Given that Spira owns a Slugma, has a Shuppet that knows Ominous Wind, and knows his way around egg groups...

"Oh, you're a Breeder as well?  Well, you've certainly come to the right place if you're looking for strange pokemon.  A lot of unique stuff in this region, and plenty of strong trainers to train them.  Certainly found my fair share.  And then some."

Seems Nathan's definitely a little less tense now for some reason...

"Here of your own accord, or on behalf of someone else?  And how'd you end up getting molested by a big bunch of Electabuzz wielding random objects, anyways?"

"Yeah, I'm a breeder, got my training in Solaceon." "I am here on my own accord, and as for the Electabuzz, they started stalking me shortly after I left Cress City, not sure what they wanted though. By the way I'm headed west, toward Elanor." Spira notices the strange bracelet {OOC: The Portable Time Capsule} and asks "That bracelet, what is it?"

The Gastly Stew is done, if anyone can stomach it! She's made enough for two Pokemon with that check and 75$. (You can double it if more people want it)

"Wow. Hearthome city. Its a nice place to visit. My family and I used to go there during vacations. I from Eterna City. Place with a rich culture, but a sinister atmosphere sometimes. But, heh, you cant choose the place you are born I guess." Heart then widening his eyes when discover the guy its a breeder. "You are a breeder? Awesome! Thats a very cool profession to do it. I sometimes think in become a breeder myself, but I enjoy more in travel around the world. And face some dangers too, heh."

When Spira point the bracelet, Heart try to talk another thing to not alert that guy they are from the future. "Its souvenir we have buy in our way here. Nothing much."

Nathan shrugs.  "It's a watch."

He thinks for a moment.  "...headed towards Elanor, huh...well, we were heading towards Teazel Valley, towards the southwest.  Lots of rare pokemon in that area.  Probably going to make a stop at Elanor afterwards since it's nearby.  There's a lot of wilderness between Cress and Elanor, even though it doesn't look like it."

This all seems too convenient to be a coincidence.  They go back to the past, save a guy from a group of really strong Electabuzz, it turns out he's heading to the same general area as they are...and as far as Nathan can tell, it's not a paradox because they're still there, talking with Spira.

Oh?  The Stew's done, eh?  Nathan looks at it again for a moment, having briefly forgotten that it was cooking in the background...

"...what's even in this stew?  ...you're sure it's restorative for pokemon?"

"The stew has a better restorative effect on Ghost-type Pokemon, but yes it should restore other Pokemon as well." "Do you mind if I go with you? Who knows when something like those Electabuzz will pop up again." "Noire and Hida, have some of the stew to show that it is completely safe." (Noire +4HP; Hida+2 HP)
