Yes. Encounters are almost always separated in some way - either by time, busyness, or proximity.

You can see what's happening over there, but it all takes place in 12 seconds so there's no time to arrive.

Terra would understand it's owned by the farm, for sure. The registration system isn't as advanced yet in 1925, so it would be possible to steal this Pokemon with a Pokeball, but Terra is certain this is an unruly livestock animal with an owner.

It's probably registered to the MS crystal in a seldom-used Apricorn somewhere, but double-registration mechanics are very proximity-based in 1925.

If Terra's interested in an Emboar, I think he could reason out that the livestock farm might have some for sale.

Then Terra ain't going to catch it or want to own/buy it, as while he IS interested in the big Fiery Pig, its not so much that he would want to buy it off the owner when he's already got 3 Fighting (and is strapped on funds), one of which he's trying to get a full handle on. Probably going to have him carry it back to the farm and set it down somewhere safely out of the way, since with his STR score of 5 he can lift up to 294 kg or roughly 648 lbs. Not much he can do about the wagons, and he sees/has a gut feeling that the rest of the group has gotten things in the bag, so he'll just leave it to them and get to transporting some ham.

Phew, it's so good to see that everything in that Encounter has gone well! I'm having no idea yet what I could want from the father of the family as some sort of thank you, I wish to talk to the Doc at first.

Though 10 Oran Berries in total can't be split between 3 people equally, my thought would it being given to Dizzy to hold as a reward for his help?

I think the Pokeball solution was very creative. I was expecting something more focused on the carriage and its occupants. You got out with hardly any damage to anyone or anything, except the road which was toast from the moment Rhyhorn appeared.

The road being so damaged is not our fault, blame the huge Ryhorn! I'm very glad that Heart's first Ball succeeded on the catch already.

Imust remember in trade that Rhyhorn away when got the chance, because no chance in hell I gonna keep such pokemon! I already have enough disobedience pokemon with me, thank you very much. And the terrible Rock/Ground dont help very much. Now...what should we do?

It was a huge luck! Almost impressive as catch a Rayquaza with just one Quick Ball (its true, I have see myself).

Glad I came up with that idea! I figured that if Pokeballs had the ability to capture and dematerialize Pokemon from local space, then why not leverage that trait to stop that rampaging beast? Worst case scenario is that the Ball got used up and the Beast is disoriented a bit but then resumes charging, so why not give it a shot? Nice to see it worked out better than I expected!

Trading it away is a good call, given how worthy it is! About the same as that Druddigon I once caught, which was worth either 15.000$ or white Vulpix.

What should we do...? - Well, as said I'm hoping for a semi-private chat with Dr. M for the most part, what you others do is up to you.
