[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
@Mikaruge108, is it okay if Nathan says something important about the statues before Spira interacts with them? Yes, it's really, really important.

Me always feel that Unova does lean more into future and technology for the biggest and most prominent part, please let us not be nitpicking here.

Well, as I already said, go and share it if you like, but it just won't arise much of an interesting reaction from Shiva and if Iron comes on in the meantime, I wish to start with things I wish to do instead on waiting until info is shared, means it'll be transfered as a flashback.

as in "These statues are spirit prisons, don't break them." important? then sure it's okay if Nate speaks up. Whether or not Spira heeds that advice is a different story...

Lets just have careful in that timeline Phantom. Since the pokemon world in based in the real world, in ancient times, the man was...more violent than our times. Just...be careful.

I'll be careful, yes, Shiva's not the type of person who's likely to cause trouble. Only likely to get mad or cold if you hit a wrong nerve? Though 'more violent' does give me a bit of an uneasy feeling.

Well, I personally don't mind as I'm leaving them alone anyway, but me feels doing that afterwards would be better.

If you mean sharing that we're in the time of Sarimanok, that's almost obvious in my view, if you feel a need to voice that, do so.

OOC, there's no need to interact with them, really.  In fact, interacting with them is probably more likely to cause trouble than anything else.  Hence why I want to say something about it sooner rather than later.

Honestly, I would very, very much like to emphasize Nathan's specialty in history as a useful resource here, and I would love it if everyone in the group took advantage of that a little more, particularly now that it can make a big, big difference.   And it doesn't just mean sharing 'oh, we're in this time period.'  That also means sharing various helpful facts about the time period that Nathan's the most likely (if not the only one in the group) to know.

Just to throw in my two cents, Terra ain't messing with the statues, since they not only creep them out, but he thinks any form of vandelism / tampering with public works is just pain wrong. No pissing off the king on that front!

It's a bit too late for Terra to take advantage of that, but if you want we can do a Flashback were Nathan stops them before he runs off and gives a run down of the era for him/everyone else listening, as well as ask any question you'd want your character to answer. Its not like they wouldn't have a good reason to ensure Terra doesn't make a blunder with how.....unenlightened he is. I'm perfectly down with that, and so would the monk since he'd like to learn more about Cheshire history. Well, 'present time' right now, but still!

As for current events, Terra pretty much perfectly blends in due to his simplistic and asethetic character/stoicism and 'plain' enough cloths, so he wouldn't cause a scene automatically. Being a rugged wanderer pays off socially for once!

Man, I really Heart may capable of finding a Honedge or a Doublade. For a descendant from a family of knights, a ghost sword who choose knights its something fitting.

Thats remind me...when we get a return to our timeline and I get my get battle against Shiva, do you want a training battle to help increase the conection between Terra and Duskull @Lord Windos? Maybe meeting and interact with other ghosts may help increase the interaction between them and maybe make Duskull a bit more happy. And for Golett too since he still unhappy (0 in happiness). Maybe that could help both of us?

Remember that if you DO find one and managed to catch the bugger, then keep it hidden from EVERYONE until you are back in the modern era. Pokemon for Royalty = Pokemon not for 'plebs' like us for the King's Era, so stuff it away somewhere dark or hidden or trade it back to the future for another Pokemon ASAP!

If I use the Torchic Tooth and Camp Training on it, Duskull will already have 2/3 Loyalty it needs to listen to Terra completely, so I don't think a Training Battle would work well for that purpose alone. Maybe for our Pokemon to gain XP and test out their new Moves, though, since that's always a nice thing to do. I'd rather have a Friendly Battle (similar to the ones against Nathan/Shiva) , though, since those are much more epic, fun, and XP lucrative!

Given how events played out and everyone kinda went off to do their own thing while Nathan was trying to make sure Heart and Spira weren't panicking (would have included Shiva, too, but given that Phantom seems to have assumed Nathan/Gallade wouldn't have helped her/Lilith helped her first...), I think I'll probably be saving the majority of that for when everyone reunites after this initial stuff.  A flashback might not make as much sense in this case :/

Nathan has something reeeaaaallllly important to say to Heart about that.  Like, reeeeeaaalllly important.  Expect him to pop some facts about the species on Heart when the group gets back together.

Edit: well, Windos just said it OOC (as did Iron for that matter), but IC, Nathan definitely still needs to drop that knowledge on Heart. The Honedge line doesn't just choose knights: they choose kings. And the evolution line was specifically reserved for Creshirean royalty, once upon a time.
