"The phoenix? Ho-Oh. The beasts: Entei, Raikou, Suicune, and Kazesidhe. The volcano, the thunder, the tarn, and the mechanical sylph."
He draws each as he describes them. The being he names Kazesidhe is a four-legged beast with streaming hair like Sylveon's ribbons and wheels (suggesting Magearna) instead of hooves, and tiny little fairy wings.
"The Child of Garlic is a mysterious man, or some say a Pokemon. He wears root vegetables on his head to represent the harvest. He wears a cape and dresses in green. He lives on an island west of Creshire."
The guard is obviously interested in the treasure maps, but he seems a little leery of giving a weapon to a random large dude in his camp. Not that he's afraid of you, but more worried you might harm yourself. "Train you any Pokemon?" He gives train an odd emphasis, because that's a new word in this time.

What are you using for a light source?
Gustav Bubbles the coat of mud off of the banks. You don't unearth anything interesting that way.
But when he jumps into the center of the lake, he comes back with a busted chainmail and a short sword caked in rust and mud!

"Ah. Hm.....all of them sound mighty and interesting. Child of Garlic and Kazesidhe most of all. With that said and foodstuff gifted, Terra departed from Sir Artist's , letting them resume their painting in peace while he continue to explore the campsite. The soldier's question was meet with an immediate nod from Terra, followed by him summoning his blood brother Shiranui to his side to back up that claim.
"Yes, I do. This is my Hariyama Shiranui. Trained, battled and Survived for many years together. We are close.....like brothers. *Looks at his sumo wrestler* Right?"
Shiranui thumped his chest and firmly nodded his head, as that was the undeniable truth! The bond between them is thick as blood, and some might claim even thicker!

Frrrrsht! You wipe and clean away all the gunk from the naked sword. This exposes a blue gem, which starts glowing in the moonlight. The hilt sprouts a tiny little blue thread, and leathery straps begin hardening around the steel like an animal growing a scaly hide. This process is very very slow, and the item/Pokemon? does not move at all.

Ah, well that seems to be a different story. The soldier salutes you and takes the two treasure maps to examine. "Sha! I know not if these maps to ought of worth might lead, but when next I am on leave, perhaps try we shall! An expedition we shall mount. Take what you will!"
He offers you a nice leather-and-steel shield, a short sword of bronze, and a spear with a few simple woodburned designs. It takes him a while to find a helmet big enough for you. None of these have any official insignia such as the Eye, but you think an expert will easily be able to ID the era.

Terra bows back to the soldier, and accepts all the weapons/armor with a grateful smile.
"Thank you, sir. May you have......great fortune with these Maps that I could not have myself..."
That said, he straps on all the arms and armor to himself (probably with a little help from the soldier) , and bid them farewell and good night as he leaves. When he purchased those Treasure Maps and had them checked over by Nathan/Shiva, he didn't think that he'd get anything out of them for a looooong time, but with this trade he's gladly proven himself wrong! Or serendipitously right, if you count being *LURCHED* to the King's era to be a looooong time!
He of course notices that his newly bartered equipment didn't bear the eye sigils that so profusely marked the campsite, and so (if its possible) he goes back over to the Artist he met earlier and requests they paint Purple Eyes on them, plus Kazesidhe on the Shield, and a small pic Child of Garlic on his helm. If he going to purchase 'ancient' armaments for himself, he might as well go the extra mile and decorate his stuff! Who knows, it might increase their value too!
Order: Make the trade to get the Helmet, Spear, Short Sword, and Shield (And learning how to put them on/take them off), then go to the artist to customize it with Purple Eyes/the Legendary Pokemon he described if possible, before heading back to the group's campsite. Surely Nathan will have double-take upon seeing Terra decked out in soldier gear!

When the pokemon finally have awakened, Heart kneel before the sword pokemon. Gustav and Rose did the same thing as his master. Heart bow his head. "Welcome back to the world of the living, might and powerfull sword pokemon. I did not wish to disturb or cause any trouble to you oh noble ghost pokemon. My name is Heart. ArcHeart. Descendant of a long line of knights from the maiden of flames Ark. I also come from a distant future from this one. How you feel Honedge?"

"Found some ghost pokemon at the camp." He says pointing at the soldier camp. "Also found a strange black seed that my ghost pokemon seem to like, thought you might know more about it." He hands the seed to Nathan for him to look at. When Spira gets his cloak the first thing he notices is the pattern on the back of it. "Wow that looks similar, but not quite like the badge for Hearthome," Spira sweeps back his trench coat revealing the badge for 1925 Hearthome on his shirt pocket can't upload picture from phone, do that monday... the three circles of the badge are in a triangular formation at center with a single curved line coming from each of them in a clockwise fasion. Spira take his hat and trench coat off and puts them in his bag, putting the cloak on over his bag. {OOC I got tired of my phone erasing everything i typed when i tried to upload the pic...}
Nathan looks at the camp whenSpira says there are Ghost types over there. Obviously, he doesn't see any. "...I'll take your word for it. Just one more reason to not go over there..."
When Nathan's handed the seed, Gallade takes a step back and eyes it warily...
"...your Ghosts were interested in it, huh? Hmmm...I'd say it probably has some kind of benefit for Ghost types, then...could boost the strength of Ghost moves, or it might do something else..." Not sure if Nathan knows much about what kind of item it might be or what it might do. That's @Iron's call. Regardless if he knows, holding the item does make Nathan slightly uncomfortable, so he hands the item back as soon as he's done examining it.
EDIT: "...nope, don't know what it does, unfortunately. It appears to be an actual seed of some kind, so...it's definitely not a Miracle Seed or similar...you could try to give it to one of your Ghosts to hold and see what it does, I suppose. This isn't exactly a topic I'm super familiar with, unfortunately. I grew up on a ranch and am also an amateur historian, I guess you could say. If you wanted to test that in a battle at some point when we have access to convenient healing machines again, I'd be more than happy to help with that."
And finally, when Spira comments about the cloak and the design Nathan sewed onto the back...
"...that's because those interlocking four circles in the upside down triangle pattern are the general shape of the Hearthome Gym Badge. Well, in 2017, anyways. Didn't know what else to put on the cloak, to be honest, but I had a good feeling about that. Weird question, by the way, but what type does the Hearthome Gym specialize in using in 1925? And those other badges...which gyms are those from, if I may also ask that?" (Nathan was inevitably going to ask that, so I figured I might as well get that out of the way now)
Just some casual conversation in the meantime while waiting for everyone else to show up.
"Hearthome specializes in Ghost, and it's where I trained." Spira takes Toya's pokeball out and lets him out. "Toya, I know you tried to eat this earlier, but do you think you can hold this seed without eating it?" The Dusknoir puts a hand to its face, thinking, then nods. "The four badges on my coat are ones I earned here in Creshire. He points to Cress City's badge, "I got this one from Ettie of Cress City, the other three are from (Iron only told me the Cress City one, so excuse the creative license here) Corsage, where I started my adventure in Creshire, Botanville and Ginger." (If those cities don't have a gym, please correct me on this so I can keep my posts accurate.)

(Oh! So it takes an Encounter to make the found raw Everstone usable? In that case and if Shiva can do that herself and neither needs to buy any tools or additional things like for example thread if crafting a Destiny Knot, she'll do so right away once she and her Pokemon have dug up the raw stone. Cottonee and Delphox can provide enough light, or she'd just find a properly illuminated spot at the camp after the storytelling by the juggler soldier. The family of Eevee can watch if they like, bored Dizzy is also encouraged to try playing with the Umbreon or young Eevee to have some activity. I actually wanted to craft the first Friend Ball here for an Encounter, but that's fine too!)
(Maybe I should think about some proper Suprises for my female Pokemon.)
While the juggler soldier did, as he said, rest his weary throat and Ninetales recovered a little as well Shiva mostly just watched Umbreon, Dittumbreon and their Eevee playing and caring for each other while stroking Cottonee in her lap and sipping on another hot coffee. If the soldier has accepted her offered one, she has poured herself another.
She soon got lost in her thoughts and ponderings, mostly about the Tale the Eight he has told. She likes it a lot, but something about it feels odd to her: In particular how she has actually never heard of the Dragon Stones to 'wrest' - wouldn't that mean the death of noble Reshiram and Zekrom? The simple thought of this happening scares her, she's unsure whether a legendary Pokemon could really 'die' in that sense at all. These curious magic crystals might be something different...?
It came to her eventually upon realizing that she didn't saw a single Pokeball while wandering around the camp, only sometimes some made of Apricorns. Right - here in this ancient time, the known mass-produced Pokeballs don't even exist yet! She also took care to collect some Meteor Superconductor in order to create some Balls from the collected Apricorns at the cabin in the hall of Atheneum, perhaps this...? Yes, that made a little more sense to her, she can relate that Kyurem grew angry over someone trying to catch it. Rest well, icy dragon... Memories of Ghetsis and the controlled Kyurem appeared in her mind, a time where Unovians were worried and fearful over him freezing the whole region. She shudders.
All of this was pushed aside when the juggler soldier shared the final tale, once again Shiva was hanging on his every word like probably everyonelse who has gathered near him. Blazing light, shooting stars, purple flames - Shiva pulls her most dear fluffball closer to herself in arising fear, as this sounds a lot like a meteorit to her - one that collided with their planet. Though what caused her to frown and eventually almost amusingly smiling to herself were these curious brown stones that were found and came to life eventually - if... if she's correct on her guess, she OWNS one of this weird stony creatures! Met and eventually caught it relatively early on her journey through this region. This special Pokemon she has never seen before, this astral rock she values, this curious Comite. What the juggler describes sounds like it evolving, maybe one day her exemplar will become a 'swollen stone' with enough training as well. She's very unsure whether she'd like to go further than this however.
Once he concluded his story Shiva shyly approached him, while she normally wouldn't do such a bold thing her curiosity now fueled her. She keeps the hood of her Ranger's cloak deeply over her face and Cottonee securely in her arms. "Excuse me, noble soldier and storyteller... I'm just a wanderer, but your stories are an amazing arrangement of words. Allow me to thank you for sharing these to us, and ask what has happened to the flying castle after these swollen brown stones have returned where they came from?"
