Heart suddenly finds himself face to face with Hitmonlee. The Fighter's eyes narrow and his legs twitch. He's only paused this long because you're not dressed as a soldier, but you only have a second to talk before he tries to count coup on you/initiate battle!

Terra sees movement on the ground. He has to crouch a bit to see what it is, which would definitely make him lose sight of the others as the battle sweeps over the party and tears the group apart.
It's a chubby Farfetch'd, a young and tender one clutching an aromatic Stick. In this era, Farfetch'd are still quite common!
There are several dangers you can see right off the bat:
-A soldier has ordered his Rowlet to fire arrows at the escaping duck
-It's about to be trampled AND cooked by Rapidash hooves, from the Eastern Suns army it only just escaped from
-It's about to dash headlong into a Voltorb on the forefront of the advancing army, which has been tossed and is powering up! (Yep, Voltorb in Creshire exist BEFORE Pokeballs)
What rolls you'll have to make will depend on what strategy you pursue, but you need to deal with at least those three dangers.

Shiva and Raphael mount up on an abandoned Rapidash and bear down on a Western Plains soldier with long flowing brown hair! She has a Spheal held in her lap, which is firing Bubbles at the mounts of her foes.
Rapidash: (6) + 4 + 3 = 13
Raphael: (4) + 7 = 11
Spheal: (1)
Mudsdale: (1)
The mounts cannot safely use Brawl moves while they have riders.

(Dont forget Heart have his brown cloak with a gold heart on the back! And have a hood in his head to not be reconized by the soldiers)
Heart look to the powerfull Hitmonlee. No soldier could see Heart face because of the hood the cloak have, so he feel a little more secure. He exchange a few words before the battle. "Oh might Hitmonlee. I challenge thy you to a battle. You are strong and fierce warrior, so I want to battle against thou." Heart try to imitate the language of medieval warriors. Heart prepare one pokeball to release his ghost pokemon. "I ArcHeart, knight in training. Remember that name during our battle. Atlas! Viktor! Come with me!" Heart then release two of his pokemons: The ghost tree Viktor and the titan ghost Atlas. "Since you are strong, a double battle shall be a fitting challenge."
Action: Bring on Atlas and Viktor to fight against Hitmonlee! Since Hitmonlee have some strong moves, using ghost pokemon gonna neutralize most of them! I need to be careful with Fire Kick and Dark moves though...

Terra spots the odd duckies, the myriad, deadly dangers it was about to waddle-run right, and his mind furriously revs up as he tries to find a course of action that will prevent its goose from being cooked. Full of adrenaline and plenty of worry, its only a second later he came up with a plan, one that is quite risky and uncertain, but right now it was the only thing he could think of, and he didn't have time and/or resources to come up with something better, so it was now or never!
Quickly, he recalled Angie to her Pokeball, and just as swiftly summoned both Melly and Lapis Lazuli , pointed straight towards the brown fowl, and barked out his orders.
" Melly, use Quick Attack to reach duckie, and then herd them back to me! Lovely, block that other birdie's attacks, and use Water Gun to get that Rapidash to go away! Both of you, protect them much as you can! Now go!"
Order: Melly's going to rush ahead of Farfetch'ed with Quick Attack and then drive them in the direction of Terra's current location/away from the Voltorb, while Lapis uses their impressive size and typing to both body block the arrows coming towards the duckie and use Water Gun to get the Rapidash(es) to back up/detour from them. If its possible, Lapis will also try to use its size/shape to create a protective loop/curve around Farfetch'd + Melly as they come back to Terra and use Twister to deflect missiles (Arrows, Thrown Voltorbs, etc.)/approach from the soldiers, while Melly has both Lightning Rod to safely absorb any Electric Attack erupting from Voltorb, and will use an particularly menacing Leer to dissuade pursuit .
If Farfetch'd is successfully driven to Terra, he'll make a Grapple attempt to pick them up, and if successful he'll start making a break for any safe place other than in the warzone, recalling Lapis but keeping out Melly to follow allow side and protect him. If he fails (or Farfetch'd refuses to come/be herded to the big man who's clearly using his Pokemon to rescue/protect them), Melly will be the one doing a Grapple check to pick them up by the scruff of their neck and then use Quick Attack to escape the action, while Terra and Lapis follow behind and protect the rear (Probably with a disruptive Twister or two from the aquantic serpentine being).
Worst comes to worst and all the efforts to protect/rescue Farfetch'd are for naught OR anyone of his Pokemon get's KOed, he's recalling his partners and retreating, as he is NOT going to put the lives of Melly or Lapis on the line for a lost cause.
That's a lot of Actions to cover, even though its a fairly uncomplicated plan, so this plan could go very poorly. Here's hoping it doesn't....

The ghostly Marowak just levels his club at the battle behind Spira. Despite Spira's exertion of ghostly powers, this Marowak is on a mission or quest of some kind. It feels it has a duty to perform at the battlefield. If you continue to stand in his way, it'll definitely come to battle.
Initiatives:
Starmie: (5) + 9 = 14
Ditto: (4) + 9 = 13
A-Marowak: (4) + 3 Dex + 3 survival = 10
Nubi: (3) + 6 = 9
Luna: (1) +6 = 7
Normal Marowak wedge of 5: (1) + 3 Dex + 2 Survival = 6
"Looks like we don't have a choice." Spira sighs, then notices Nathan coming to join him. "What is with the lead Marowak?" Spira asks Nathan. "Anyways let's both take out the Normal ones first then let me focus on the leader." (Even though the main skirmish has music I feel this battle needs some music too.)
Nubi's Orders:
"Use Confuse Ray followed by Hex twice on one of the regular Marowak! (Regular Marowak A)"
Confuse Ray:
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-1st action=11D6
Damage: None
Effect Confuses the target
Hex A:
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-2nd action=10D6
Damage: Special+2+STAB=4D6 (Will be 6D6 if Confused)
Effect: add 2 Dice to damage pool if target is suffering from a status ailment
Hex B: (Notes if "A" fainted, used on "B")
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-3rd Action=9D6
Damage: Special+2+STAB=4D6 (Will be 6D6 if Confused)
Effect: add 2 dice to damage pool if target is suffering from a status ailment
Luna's orders:
"Use Gust twice and Ominous Wind twice on another Marowak (Regular Marowak B)"
Gust A:
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-1st Action=11D6
Damage: Special+2+STAB=5D6
Effect: None
Gust B:
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-2nd Action=10D6
Damage: 5D6
Effect: None
Ominous Wind A: (Used on "C" if "B" fainted)
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-3rd Action=9D6
Damage: Special+2+STAB=5D6
Effect: 1CD to raise all stats by 1
Ominous Wind B:
Accuracy: Dex+Fight+Canalize-4th action=8D6
Damage: 5D6
Effect: 1 CD to raise all stats by 1

(I'll add that track to the UST later.)
Nathan's a little out of breath from how quickly he's been running. Dittolune and Starmie seem ready and raring to go, though!
"...Fire...Ghost type....really rare...really hard to tame...Marowak tend to gather...where a lot of pokemon died...or are about to...*huff huff*..." That's the brief summary. He might have more to say later, though.
Nathan looks a little surprised at Spira's plan to take out A-Marowak last.
"...okay...? *huff huff*...if you say so...I guess...could KO it really quickly, though...Starmie, Ditto...do your things...*huff huff*..."
While Nathan's catching his breath, his two pokemon are launching right into the battle!
Ditto breaks the mold!
Starmie does what it does best: spam water moves!
Hydro Pump 1 and 2 (first one on Marowak A, second on C since those are the ones Spira is targeting first)
Acc: 6* Dex + 3 Fgt + 3 Canalize - 2 Acc - 4/5 Actions = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 5 Pow + 4 Str + STAB + MW + SE = 11 D6 base + 1 damage
Bubble Beam 3 and 4
Acc: 12 - 6/7 = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB + MW + SE = 9 D6 base + 1 damage
Eff: -1 Dex (1)
Ditto, meanwhile, is running support once again, then launching some attacks of his own!
Wide Guard 1 and 2
Acc: 12 - 4/5 (-2 repeat use) = 8 D6/5 D6
Eff: -3 Damage/chance dice for all opponents' next action. Does not nullify support moves, but protects all allies. +3 Priority
Drain Punch 3 and 4
Acc: 6* + 3 + 3 Brawl - 6/7 = 6/5 D6
Dmg: 3 + 4 + STAB = 8 D6 base
Eff: 1/2 damage HP drain
Plan of attack: nuke two separate Marowak with Hydro Pump, then focus them down one at a time!
Nathan also has a Potion each for his two pokemon ready if either of them are reduced to a -2 or -3 Pain Penalty. He does not want them to faint when there's so many opponents around!

Melly seems like a great herding Pokemon! We'll make that two actions.
Quick Attack 1
(6)(2)(2)(5)(3)(6) (4)(6)(1)
This makes Melly speedier than any other Pokemon in this part of the battle. Only the Rapidash on the fringes are faster.
Lapis appears and provides max cover without a roll. Of course, he draws a LOT of attention. More soldiers veer toward you, anxious to capture this radiant beauty!
He uses one Water Gun, hoping to reduce the number of approaching soldiers.
Water Gun [1/b]
(1)(1)(6)(1)(4)(2) (4)(2)(1) Barely a success. There are still three Rapidash and soldiers approaching.
Two Voltorb immediately go off. One is using an electric attack (lightning rod!), while the other is using Selfdestruct.
[b]Selfdestruct
(3)(3)(3)(4)(2)(1)
This will impact Lapis TWICE (hitting two segments of his body) and one Western Plains soldier. But one section of Lapis' body is protecting Farfetch'd.
3 Str + 8 Power -5 vit
(5)(3)(2)(5)(6)(2) Lapis takes 6 dmg
I think the Lightning Rod going right through Lapis' coils would look really cool.
Arrow Seed 1-3: a -1 dice penalty due to chaos
(5)(4)(3)(2)(2)(3)
(1)(5)(5)(6)(6)
(2)(6)(6)(2) Hit 3 times!
(5)
(5)
(1)
Lapis takes 4 dmg 15/25hp -1 pain lol
Herd 2 - I'll use the Brawl skill, or you could consider it a Grapple to redirect a target.
(6)(5)(2)(1)(3)(4) (1)(6) = 3 successes, that's just enough
A path opens up between Farfetch'd and Melly, walls made of Lazuli flesh!
Grapple 1 by Ventus
(5)(6)(6)(4)(3)(2) (2)(3)(2)(6)(3)
Evade 1: (2)(5)(3)(3)(1)
The difference between the foodstock Farfetch'd and the warrior Pokemon is very marked as Terra easily grabs the fleeing bird.
You've got Farfetch'd, but there's a lot of attention on you. If you withdraw Lapis, it's probable that some soldiers will see that flash of light and recognize it as a "magic crystal." There's at least 3 newish soldiers with their attention on you, plus one with Decidueye.
