Dense as he was, Terra could easily recognize that Shiva was not taking being LURCHED! to the Ice Age or her own revelation that disaster was incoming in one form or another, and so marched right over, grabbed her shoulder with one hand, and pulled her into a hug, being careful not to squish Farfetch'd by doing so. Given she knew the moutanous man's reluctance for this form of physical affection, this was probably all the more shocking to her.

"Shiva? Shiva! Be calm. Everyone and everything is alright for now. Disaster has been.....fortold, but not come yet. We still have time to prepare. We all are strong. We are all.....capable. Can handle almost everything together. Me, Nathan, Heart, Spira, and you. Yes, you. So do not worry, Shiva. Have faith in us. Have faith in your Pokemon. Have faith in yourself. Understand?"

He said this all quietly, in a low but comforting tone as he did his best to diffuse her own volitile emotional distress, and hoping that his efforts bore fruit instead of not. Quite an inspirational, heartfelt speech from such a stoic man, eh? Whether that be surprising or not depends, but its clear he's getting better at picking up on everyone's mood/feelings, and reacting appropriately - however that may be. (...)

A high-pitched and sharp squeal escapes Shiva as a HAND firmly grabs her by the shoulder, she intuitively squirmed with everything she got to break free from who- or whatever was coming for her there. Baaad moment to touch her, as she was tense as heck and full of fear, so her level of startle increasing by 100% was all naturally! D: Regardless how much she fought however she didn't make it to get free as Terra was simply stronger, as soon as she realized that it was only him trying to calm her down with an unexpected hug though her hands ended up clutching to his shirt as she was seeking his protection now more than ever. Her breath was still hitched and her heart was noticeably racing, but once the instant startle faded she began to tune down a little. His words of having faith, of her too being capable, added rather well.

Nathan's attention is still primarily on the horse, but he's definitely listening to Shiva.  "...and how exactly do you know one of Sarimanok's Rapidash, Shiva?"  He sounds a little tired.  No anger or anything, obviously, but he IS very curious to hear what Shiva's response to that question is.  Nathan's still checking the Rapidash over to see if it's hurt or anything.  Thankfully, it's not a difficult thing to do since the horse is staying relatively calm.

"...legs look okay, no large wounds of any kind...everything looks okay for the most part, apart from some minor scratches and bruises...seems like he was yanked away from that battlefield before he got seriously hurt..."  Nathan lets out a sigh of relief, then starts digging in his bag to look for something.  That feeling of responsibility hasn't gone away, either.  Why Nathan feels responsible for the well being of one of Sarimanok's horses is anyone's guess at the moment, really...

An impercible sigh is Shiva's initiate reaction to that question from the historian boy, it'd be a blatant lie to say that she wasn't somehow expecting this particular question from his side. She takes it without flinching though, very aware that it'd be reasonable to wonder why one of the Eastern Sun's mount was here out of all possible places. So no hard feelings or so!

She mustered Nathan with an unreadable expression though, pondering whether it'd be alright to tell. She wouldn't want to have Terra find out as regardless of her having returned successfully and unharmed from her duel with the female Western Plain soldier he'd be... Well, she rather not wants to imagine too detailed how he would react to hear that she threw herself directly into the battlezone. On the other hand, lying to Nathan about this Rapidash was no option either.

Means, she has to open up on a different way, soon she draws her own journal, scribbles a bit hasty on a free page and turns the book around to have him read what she wrote:

I got to know that Rapidash because I couldn't just sit, watch or run away, saw that it was unoccupied in the horde and decided to take on the chance - he didn't object at all when I mounted him, and with Raphael fighting for me we confronted a female soldier from the Western Plains. She was rather tough, but I managed to defeat her Spheal. I felt something urging me to do that, you see, I wanted to let her know that her tribe shall not give up resisting as King Sarimanok WILL fall eventually... I knew it was dangerous, but I made it out relatively well.

Slowly closing her journal and packing it away then, she drew a normal redwhite Pokeball and registered that Rapidash to it, as said he gets summoned again right after that. With a shy hug around the stallion's strong neck she expresses her thankfulness, she's also getting the feeling that he will, contrary to what she'd guess from a noble Rapidash, follow any commands without question, she'd guess that's due to him being a mount for combat situations. "Well, now you have an owner and caretaker. Let us stick one another through time and space and ride through any obstacle together, alright?" ^_^ That should express well enough that Shiva does like this particular horse and would like to give him a nice place in her care. Having an own horse-Pokemon mount now was an exciting thing also, Tropius was more of a mount for flights.

She does speak up once more after some moments of telling silence have passed. "T... There you have it... I wouldn't want to lie about that to you or keep it secret. I'll just keep this Rapidash now. Look, he's even having a saddle and reins already! *shrugs a bit with a smile of 'So mote it be!~'* W... WHY it has timetraveled with us I, eh, am rather innocent myself - I would guess it has to do with these.....*nods into the direction of his PTC* ...curious threads of light I sensed for short before we ended up here."

Her expression lights up a bit as she adds something in a more shy tone. "Since you are...ah, experienced with Ponyta and Rapidash from your h-home though, may I, well... come to you if I need help with him? You also have some hay or so with you? He doesn't want to eat some Tall Grass I once collected. :C "

At some time before the expected impact, Shiva does something more: She fidgets with her own PTC on her wrist, due to her wishing to keep Raphael with her in this case Vaporeon is given a letter meant for Bill and gets traded through an increadible amount of years to reach him in sweet 2017.

The letter reads the following

Hello Bill... No, we're obviously still not back where we started, we managed to keep ourselves safe as we ended up in a fight between the soldiers from the Western Plains and Eastern Suns. Now we're in the Ice Age from the look of it, as crazy as it may sound....! Something's coming. Something from space, something destructive... A meteor from the look of it. Please tell me if you know or can find out, are there indeed records of an impact in the area of Teazel Valley? (There's the Chicxulub Crater despite it's millions of years ago, so there could be?)

Please send me my Comite in return... Ah, this time it took long 211 seconds before the trade request has been sent.

Shiva's smol astral rock gets summoned to her side and is asked whether it'd like to witness the expected impact that she believes brought his species to Chreshire with her and some of her other Pokemon - she'd enjoy it if Comite is up for that, it's a unique chance indeed, something that no human ever had the chance to witness.

Nathan reads that message written on the pages.  Looks at it for a good, loooonnnnggg few minutes...

"...one battle won't change the outcome of the war.  Sarimanok went on to conquer almost all of Creshire, and there's not really anything we could have done to change that.  Better just to avoid stuff like that in my opinion.  We ever catch the King's attention, good or bad, I doubt it will end well for us."

He turns back to the Rapidash.  "He's a war horse who's been trained to not have any qualms about who rides him or what orders he's been given.  He'll never be as fast as most Rapidash usually are, but he's strong.  He'll listen to you, but he probably doesn't have any real sense of camraderie."

Another sigh, and that feeling of responsibility is definitely more noticeable.  "...yes, those threads have everything to do with why he's here."  He doesn't elaborate further than that, but will if asked.  Given he knows exavtly what Shiva's talking about and isn't feeling any kind of uncertainty at all, he probably knows more than what he's said so far.

When asked if he'll help with the horse if needed, Nathan simply nods (which was to be expected given how responsible for the horse he feels at the moment).  And when asked if he has something on hand for the Rapidash to much on...well, that's what Nathan was digging around in his bag for.  "Two steps ahead of ya on that, Shiva.  He's probably hungry after that battle, and I usually carry some hay around for Swiftfire.  Mom deposits some in my PC every so often."  Nathan offers some of that hay to the Rapidash.

Shiva would strongly disagree to these words of 'just avoiding' stuff like that, but she does not dare to voice what she's only thinking - partly because this is definitely not the place nor time to discuss opinions and intentions; partly because she is, thanks to all the quarrels with Nathan she helped Ventus through, painfully aware how little sense there was to try making him see her viewpoint. Means, she'll simply listen to Nathan saying that while giving him a stoic and unreadable expression, once he's done she lowers her head a little to muster some incredibly interesting patch of snow right beside her. Cottonee, her ever-supportive fluffball, chirped quietly and cuddled up closer to into her sweet Master's lap.

She does not want to change the outcome of the war - that'd be a noble, heroic, benelovent yet very naive hope, and Shiva knows this. If she'd only could, she'd very likely even do, but regardless how she'd turn things in her mind there's nothing to be done about it. No, she... She simply wished for the tribe of the Western Plains, for that one female soldier she faced in a bold duel, to know that their resistance is never wasted effort. How she has taken these words she can only guess, but only when she delivered her message she claimed herself as the winner of that duel.


She is aware of everything Nathan states about that particular Rapidash from her own interactions with him and having sensed things, she solely nods once to him voicing these things. However, his help on this stallion was appreciated and thankfully accepted, it was a calm and serene feeling to just sit here in the warmth of the horse, stroking his strong neck and forehead and feeding it hay with Nathan. Aww!~

What she also rather clearly picks up is that he does know more about these curious threads of light, her neutral sideways glance on him lasting for long seconds seems to clearly say 'Can't really hide anything from me'. She does not appear mad or anthing, not in the slightest, though she has perked up in wondering and mildly confused curiosity. "So...? And, can you... I mean, you have any idea where these threads came from? Please, if you do, tell us... Me and maybe Heart/@Spiritmon as well would appeciate to know if you are fine with telling us what you think. You know, Nathan, I sensed his and your presence alongside seeing these threads before my inner eye, but weirdly not Terra's or Spira's."

Heart was for a while sitting in the ground, gazing in the sky, until Shiva say something about them see threads or something like that. "To be honest Shiva...I dont know how me and Nathan was able to see those threads. Perhaps it is something about thing about us become more than humans. But if thats the case, you should be able to in see that. Maybe it is because of the blood of my family, the ArcHearts who was once blessed by Arceus itself...since we are going to stay here for a while I guess it could be a good moment to talk some story."

Heart than takes some time to tell Shiva and Terra some of the story (Who can be find here and here to let things be more quick).

"It might be one of the reasons why I was able in see the threads. And to me have the Soldier Bloodline within me who make me have conections with ghosts...even after three thousand years, the blood of Ark still flow inse of me." Heart did not tell Shiva or anyone about the final fate of his family...maybe because its not the right time in bring such sad story to such already depressing situation.

Heart put out his amulet with the emblem of his family who once meet before. "This amulet symbolizes the creation trio: Palkia, Dialga and Giratina, who you people once meet in triangle form before. But this one in particular is diferent. Ever wonder why the name of my family is ArcHeart?"

Heart than put a end to his explanation to let the others digest that piece of revelation. They are problably in shock or perhaps annoyed. Its all depends with them now.

Spira lets Hida out of his ball mainly for heat and asks both Hida and Noire how they feel about this new time period. Also is there anything in particular that Spira would notice in this time?

Hmmm, yes! Hida is looking up at the volcanoes with INTENSE interest!! He moves more quickly in this time and seems to like it a lot, kinda fits right in. 

Shuppet just feels lonely here. Can't sense any human souls nearby at all.


Spira might know a little about the chemistry of the ash and volcanic gases, but I can't think of anything particularly useful to tell you. Oh! You could spend an Encounter gathering the right kind of ash using your chem knowledge, and Nathan knows how to craft those into Flutes.

Wow! The last real Ice Age ended thousands of years ago, although fun fact, we are technically still in the same one in 2017, geologically speaking. But if you're seeing Mamoswine and taiga Pokemon...
There is a somewhat famous crater in Teazel Valley. It's pretty big, and it contains the thickest Tall Grass in all of Creshire. Lots of very strange Pokemon there. It even bleeds into the Safari Zone. Today, there is a garden called Deyo Gardens, and mines I have visited in my work on the Pokemon Storage system. That crater is ten thousand years old in 2017, give or take a decade. In my research I'm noticing a major impact every thousand years or so, but the 8000 BC meteor is one of the biggest. The other big one is 1000BC. The only crater bigger than 8kBC is 11kBC.
Speaking of which...I can't believe the PTC is working 10,000 years in the past!! I was certain it would need the wavelength of some kind of Pokemon Storage PC system, but I guess not! Or perhaps some other form of energy is filling in for it. Amazing stuff. This gives me so many ideas. 
Any other info I can give you? Stay safe. There won't be many safe human societies to help you out in those times.

Comite is kind of excited to see a meteor impact, but he stares into your eyes with his one purple one, and strives to communicate with your Insight. You realize he is saying his race did not come from this meteor. His race can communicate with each other - there are no others anywhere in a range that could be as wide as the planet.

It will be a good experience anyway though. He's anxious to see what it may bring.

When Heart tells that story, Nathan's PTC starts glowing again. But this time no lurch comes, and nothing really seems to change about...well, about anything!

Gallade's off to the side at first, arms crossed, but he comes closer when things start to get a little uncomfortable.  He can empathize with Shiva for wanting to do something that might make an impact.  He puts a reassuring hand on Shiva's shoulder.  She didn't do anything wrong in his or Nathans' opinions.  Nathan's just...uncertain how much of an impact it might have, and doesn't know if it was worth the risk.  He's scared because he doesn't know if his actions will do more harm than good in Sarimanok's time.  And he's having a hard time expressing that.  So Gallade tries to communicate that things are mostly okay and that Nathan's just...super concerned for everyone's safety.

When Heart theorizes a little and tells his story, it should be noted that Nathan doesn't seem surprised or really react too much to the story.  He's heard it before, so he just quietly listens.

When Heart finishes, Nathan sighs.  "...I...think I know why we could see those threads.  I found a...rather valuable item while we were in Sarimanok's time.  It was a...sphere of pure Adamant.  It's one of the three Legendary Metals that only Sarimanok could craft because of a gift he received from Heatran.  Adamant is often associated with Dialga and its powers over time.  When I sent it to the future via my PTC..."

He holds up his wrist with the glowing PTC for emphasis.

"...well, this happened.  I don't really understand why...heck, I don't even entirely understand what exactly it did...but my PTC is glowing now.  The sphere transferred some of its power to my PTC or something.  And for some weird reason...it's given me a small amount of control over the lurches whenever they occur.  And...I think I understand what's going on a little better, if not why."

He puts his wrist down.

"The lurches seem to be dragging us three (Nathan points at himself, Shiva, and Heart) through time, and only us three.  Probably because we're the ones who touched the Relic Stone and received Celebi's Gift.  However...those 'threads' are connections between us and anyone we interact with.  If the connections are strong enough, it drags the people and pokemon they connect to along with us.  I...didn't see Ventus, Valder, Vincent, or Larry, though, so it seems to only be affecting those who are traveling with us currently...though I know for a fact that Ventus was still experiencing those lurches, so I guess they might not be totally unaffected if the connections are still just strong enough.  Weaker connections that aren't strong enough to drag the associated people and pokemon along snap when we're forcibly and suddenly lurched through time...unless I tug on them in such a way that they won't...which is what I just did with that Farfetch'd and Rapidash...*ahem*..."

There's a...slightly awkward silence as Nathan finished admitting that he's basically the entire reason that Rapidash and Farfetch'd are here in the first place.  Though he doesn't immediately explain why he brought 'em with the group in the first place.

A high-pitched and sharp squeal escapes Shiva as a HAND firmly grabs her by the shoulder, she intuitively squirmed with everything she got to break free from who- or whatever was coming for her there. Baaad moment to touch her, as she was tense as heck and full of fear, so her level of startle increasing by 100% was all naturally! D: Regardless how much she fought however she didn't make it to get free as Terra was simply stronger, as soon as she realized that it was only him trying to calm her down with an unexpected hug though her hands ended up clutching to his shirt as she was seeking his protection now more than ever. Her breath was still hitched and her heart was noticeably racing, but once the instant startle faded she began to tune down a little. His words of having faith, of her too being capable, added rather well.
Eventually she whispered a few words. "U.... understood, yes.... Faith... T-thank you, Terra. Disaster however... It WILL come, can't prevent it.... Haahhh... Celebi wouldn't...let us die though - would she? Will trust in her..."

That's all from my side on that then concerning this! Whether Terra reacts or replies or not is up to him, I wouldn't mind if he does not. -- End of small flashback. --

The fae woman's Spoink like squeal nearly caused Terra to release her out of pure surprise induced reflex, before her trashing caused him to snap back into focus and tighten his grip/hug on her. Ven mentioned in all manner of ways that Shiva was often.....'dynamic, whimsical, and ever fluctuating in her mental and emotional capacity' , but never once was he told she'd react like THAT to what should have been a strong embrace. Was this something they forgot to tell him about? Was it a unique reaction, brought about all the stress of involuntary time travel and the imminent disaster about to take place? Or was it simply because his hug went wrong somehow? 

No, no, even he wasn't to screw something simple as THAT. Especially with all the practice he's had done with his own partners, most recently his newishborn smol snake Angie!

Honestly, he didn't have an answer for why his boss' girlfriend was acting so WILD, but he shan't let his ignorance get in the way of doing what he thinks is the right thing: provide as much care, support, and comfort to Shiva as humanly possible! Pokemon too, since their partners are doing their part in soothing her woes! He and the others are there for you, so please.....

Thankfully, she ended up reciprocating his hug with an forcefulness and gradually began the process of calming down, pulling away after she spoke to give her a small, warm smile.

"Good. Faith will make you strong, in.....ways other things can not. Disaster......we all will be together, and Survive through it. Okay?"

As for the comment on Celebi's intention, that completely flew over the rugged wanderer's head and caused him to frown thoughtfully, as that was not an Important Name Ven had him memorize, yet it sounded just like one. In the end, he decided to forget about it for the moment, and devote his full efforts to restoring the mystical lass' to her former state. Perhaps later on he'll learn more about whomever that person/thing really is, but for now the only thing that mattered to him was making sure his friend would be alright!

Once she made enough of a recovery to fully get ahold of herself, he released her from his holistic hug and left her to her own devices unmolested any further, as he felt he did what he could for her. How she'd deal with everything now......the rest of that was up to her.

Was able to manage separating Terra and Shiva after she got better so that she could go talk with Nathan AND not have to worry so much about the mountainous man hover around like a mother hen! Next post should be Heart's......soon as I take a nap!)

Ok. You camp and set a watch. Dizzy and Calam do not sleep, cannot sleep.

As long as the fire is burning, the Mightyena don't bother you. But they do come to the edge of the firelight to sniff around. The watchers keep seeing one particular Poochyena cub who has the tiniest little Butterfree wings - perhaps one of the earliest genetic anomalies who lead to Yena. He keeps far away from camp and is very shy and mostly stays underneath his parent. There may be a few others in the pack with this same anomaly.

In the morning, the ground is shaking to the east in the direction of Mt. Sentry. The Absol pay this no mind, even when the ground at the foot of the mountain parts and an Onix breaches before tunneling back into the mountain. He's got blue rings around each body segment.

The upper pack of Mightyena has relocated, and now a troupe of Magcargo has replaced them, oozing up and down the mountain. They're bigger than modern Magcargo from Mt. Molten, and one has a single beard of magma like a turkey instead of two side danglies.

And to Shiva's delight, she catches a glimpse of a shaggy wolflike Eevee with matted fur ducking behind a rock!

Aside from a few oversized Rock Pokemon like Golem and Gigalith in the mountains, and some distant Mamoswine, the species diversity is rather low here.

Nothing has fallen from the sky, but the sensitive Pokemon are becoming more and more anxious. From Lilith, you think it might be just a few more hours.
