[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Spira wanders around looking around when he comes across a dumpster, and decides to see what he can find worth salvaging.

First note: Nathan's pretty immediately concerned about Heart and Terra once he notices how disoriented they are.  He motions to Gallade and Calam to keep an eye on the three Rock types for a moment while he briefly assesses the two guys who received direct wishes from Jirachi.  

     - To Terra/@Lord Windos: "You doing okay, Terra?  Any unbearable headaches or anything?  If something's wrong, I'd like to know sooner rather than later, okay?"  When Terra mentions he wants to talk about Deoxys later, Nathan quietly nods.  Gallade turns his attention to Terra for a moment to also make absolutely sure Terra's okay, psychically analyzing his emotional state and such.  (@Iron, got some input on this?)  I imagine that Gallade's not going to be doing this for too long for one reason or another, though...

     - To Heart/@Spiritmon: "Take it easy, Heart, alright?  Seems you have some changes to get used to...need some help getting up?"  Nathan offers a hand to Heart to help him off the ground.  If Heart needs a brief summary of what happened, then Nathan will offer a very brief one, but otherwise, he'll save the bulk of that explanation for later.

Second note: Shiva can tell Nathan's feeling rather responsible again.  That's further solidified when Nathan opens with this upon everyone getting reoriented:

"Guys, I pulled a couple pokemon along with us.  Not quite sure how they ended up connected to us via the threads, but they did.  Figured we could give some of 'em a home, and all three are rather rare, ancient pokemon.  I'll deal with this one."  He points at the brown and yellow lizard-like pokemon.

He's pretty happy when Terra and Heart decide to deal with Bastiodon and Shieldon respectively.

Now then, on to Nathan's encounter! 

1. Name: Mysterious Lizard Pokemon
Challenge: Fairly easy
Cap: 1
Bid start: 2
Notes: Only Nathan knows what this is, but since it'll appear amidst the group he is welcome to share that info.

To start with he approaches the lizard pokemon slowly and carefully, as it's likely still a little disoriented from what happened.  He doesn't say anything at first, just keeps a respectful distance and waits to see how the pokemon reacts...

To Nathan: "*Slowly nods* .....Yes.....I think. Feel.....different . Tougher, Smarter, and......hardened? Weighty? .....Steely? *Shakes head* No clue which. Just know that I feel......More now. Does that make sense, Nathan?"

If Nathan's paying attention, he should see the metal knuckles that the sagely monk is now sporting, just FYI.

"*Shakes head, but frowns* No headaches, but......mind feels hazy, and *Faces scrunches up, looking uncomfortable*.....something else in it. Not sure what, but......think Deoxys.......did something? To me? *Shakes head, looking concerned and......thoughtful* Don't know.....Light makes it hard to remember.....but....not understand it? Urgh......."

He grumbles and clutches his head after he finishes speaking, looking and feeling stressed at recalling those details in his current state. Looks like  he'll need some time to clear his head/center himself before he can continue speaking about the alien supervirus without it being an ordeal for him....

Terra doesn't need the boy to incentivise him going off to confront the Steely Dino, but now he has even more reason to fight/capture it! Great!

(To make things quick because I'm lagging behind a bit: )


- By now Shiva has gotten a bit more used to these weird lurchs, she still falls into a weird stasis-like slumber for that brief period of time - everytime she does, weird threads appear before her inner eye like one would see things in a dream. She also doesn't completely loose her balance anymore once 'landing'.

- How they have traveled FORWARD in time now was rather delightful for her, but from the look of it it still wasn't 2017 - damn! Sensing sweet Master's light discomfort Cottonee eagerly cuddled up closer into her arms, giving her that tickling sensation of power running down her arms once more. Shiva enjoyed this, while her dearest fluffball found joy in taking turns of glowing pink for Dazzling Gleam and crimson for Night Daze. Physically nothing has changed about Cottonee for the untrained eye, but Shiva notices that the fluff of her Startermon feels tougher and almost 'charged' with strength and earthpower when stroking through it.

- She doesn't really hear much of the conversations/interactions between the others aside from Terra wishing to talk about things later, which she agreed to with a mubled "Hmhmm..." - for the biggest part, she was simply RELIEVED that he too made it to escape that Deoxys. Ancient Fossil Pokemon aren't really of her interest, so she mostly shrugs at Nathan's opening that he dragged a few with them.

- Both Cottonee and Shiva HATED how all that trash was simply dumped there, she would bet a won Gym Badge that some nasty Poison Types lurk in or near there...! Nope, by no means they'll go even a single meter near there! Cursing these polluters badly in her mind, she makes a turn towards that diner across the road (not without kicking some trash) in the hope for some neat breakfast or similar for her and some meaty treats for Primal Glaceon, as well to simply take her mind off that trash and poison.

He was left catatonic state without speech..

Rather basic medical rundown, begin!  The good news is that Gallade doesn't detect anything majorly wrong with Heart's mental state, so he doesn't spend very long on examining the collector and turns his attention back to watching the Rock types.

Then was that Deoxys invasion...and get to some meteor shower where Jirachi appear...I dont recall many detals there but..."

Heart head begin to hurt a little. "...I remember to have wish in become strong. Strong like my ancestor once was. To be...someone who could rebuild my clan with my hands...I consider to make the wish in bring back all my clan...but I imagined such power to bring the dead its something who not even Jirachi could not do." He make a sad eyes. "Then I have wish to be someone strong to protect what I have left that I care: My Pokemons...and my friends who you all its what I have close to a family...and that I dont wish to be remind as a hero or anything like that. But be remind as, well, me. As a friend, and someone who try to do the right thing. Not some kind of legendary hero, but as a person."

Heart look again in the reflection in the Amulet Coin. "Then I remember feel my body burn when I touch that wish stone of fire...but the fire didnt hurt at all. I could feel the flow of Earthpower, almost like I have die then reborn like a phoenix. The flames around my body, changing colors...and I could feel the conection to all my ancestor...and to even Ark itself. Like a torch passed though generations. I dont know how to explain...."

Heart was left in silence, in deep meditation to everything.

"...you said Ark was known for being associated with Fire, right?  Maybe the wish was more...potent due to synergy?  I know Calam seems to be exhibiting some rather powerful techniques.  I already knew he was capable of using Fairy moves to a limited degree, but the Fairy Wish Tag he grabbed definitely seems to have amplified his more Fairy-like traits by a noticeable amount..."

He thinks for a moment, then shakes his head.

"...I think it's probably fine, though.  As far as I can tell, Jirachi's gift primarily had a lot to do with adding new types to pokemon, so it's almost certainly benevolent.  If I had to guess, the Wish Tags probably just...awakened inherent abilities.  I doubt those slips of paper were scattered randomly, to be honest..."

Nathan offers Heart a hand again to help him stand up once more.  It's at this point that he stops whispering.

"...well, no point in dallying in my opinion.  We've got pokemon to catch and places to be, right?  I'm sure we'll figure more out along the way."

As he helps Heart stand up, he can't help but glance over the various tattoos that Heart now has, and the generally more fiery appearance he's taken on.  "...if I'm being honest, it does kinda suit you, actually.  But that's just my opinion, I guess."

When asked whether it makes sense (particularly after Terra says the word 'more'), Nathan hesitates for a moment, then nods.  "...a little, I think..."

Nathan does probably notice the metal knuckles that Terra's seemingly acquired after the encounter with Jirachi.  Given that Terra's obviously needs a little time to digest everything so far, though, he doesn't mention anything about them yet.  All he really says in response to Terra is, "Hmmmm...well, if you feel anything else...strange, I want to hear about it at the soonest opportunity, alright?  Take it slow if you need to."

As he helps Heart stand up, he can't help but glance over the various tattoos that Heart now has, and the generally more fiery appearance he's taken on.  "...if I'm being honest, it does kinda suit you, actually.  But that's just my opinion, I guess."

"You think so? Hmm, to be honest I remember some stories my mother used to tell me. About some rare members of our family who could exibit some sort of fire abilities in ancient times after the time of Ark. They were know in my family as Pyromancers. But with the passing of time, that power was lost after so many generations, and no member of my family exibit such ability." 

"Thats in fact a good theory. That could explain why I didnt changed so much. I think it is somehow I have the blood of my ancestor in my hands, so I problably have some sort of potential and the wish someway amplify the potential."

This time Heart accept with no fear the offer hand of Nathan who help him stand up. Heart smile a bit. "Yeah. I must confess they are cool. Makes me look a little a punk, but I think I complaint. Its just gonna be problematic to tell my pokemon the reason of why I am so different." Heart stare for a few seconds to the tattoo in his hands. "Hmm...there is something I would like to test Nathan." Then Heart snap a few times his fingers.

Action: Since you mentioned Heart could manifest little flames @Iron, I would like to test that to see how it works!
