I'll probably just get to what Shiva finds in the diner after these encounters, and you can use some of their specialty food items as a training session. (The book mentions feeding an Oddish fertilizer as an example of a training session.)

(5)(6)(4)(3)(2) Bastiodon flinches. I'm not sure how to handle this, actually, because it's 2 actions vs 4. I think at a certain point Angie is just moving so much faster that flinching has little meaning into the next round.

The way that we were handling it in Celadon is the Flinch stays in effect until the affected pokemon can spend an action Flinching.  The wording in the book is a simple 'the subject loses its next action', and makes no indication that the 'next action' has to be in the current Round. So if you Flinched and were out of actions in the current Round, you'd spend your first action of the next Round Flinching and would have to plan for that accordingly.

If you'd rather apply that statuses effects to the same Round only, though, then I suppose that's how we'll do it in this campaign.

Okay, wow.  An egg move, a TM move, AND a move that Bastiodon can't normally learn?!  Wow.  And that wasn't even marked as a special Bastiodon, either...

That sounds reasonable. I only worry about it if you're using 5 Bites = 5 flinch chances on an opponent using only 1 action, but at a certain point you've already won anyway so it probably doesn't matter. I'll use the Celadon interpretation unless it looks like it'll be a problem.

I maybe should have marked it as a special Pokemon - all Pokemon in the past have some sort of difference at least.

Yeap, but I wouldn't mind if Flinch only applied within a Round, though I would obviously prefer if it carried over. It ain't as bad as Sleep was, but Flinch hax are a pretty viable strat that doesn't mind a little nerf or two! I should point out that I never allowed an opponent to be double Flinch, though, since stacking that status would just be too much!

Also, Angie now has a max HP of 11 (Base HP of Dunsparse is 5, which + 6 VIT would bring up to 11), so she's not as banged up as she could have been! Horay for bulky snakes!

Huh....well how about that. I'm still thinking about trading it away for profit, though, since I'm not too found of Steel/Rock types, and between Basteele, Future Anubi, and Mawile he's covered on Offensive AND Defensive Steels. Still, all those Moves alone would make this dino an impressive battler, and having Sandstorm would just add even more chip damage if used with Basteele. Hmm....

Just for a reminder, Sandstorm Defense buff on Rock types don't stack with Move Buffs, right Iron?

The way I handled that issue is make Flinch not stack once its been procced. If an opponent uses two actions, but gets Flinched 4 Times, then he'll only lose those two actions and the first one he makes the next Round, for example. Prevents more infinite stunlock, for both on the player and NPC end!

Right, you use the biggest buff.

IMO, it's almost worth keeping for Wide Guard alone.  Being able to protect a bunch of fellow party members from the worst of the damage that could be dealt is very, very valuable, and we don't have ANY Wide Guard users in the party atm (Dittolune doesn't count because it's not consistently available, and the only other party members that can potentially learn it atm are Honedge [learns it upon evolving via Dusk Stone] and A-Geodude [? move].)

Awesome! But you forget the one dice to Burn 2 the target @Iron. That might help in the capture of Shieldon. And now Rose have 5 in Happiness and 5 in loaylty! Yes!

A Burn 3 would also deal Lethal damage to Shieldon very, very quickly since you didn't hold back on Flare Blitz's burn.

Congrats on the perfect happiness and loyalty with Heart's closest companion!
