[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Heart aproach the Pokeball and pick up the little pokeball. He also pat the head of Rose, his more older friend. "Great job Rose. You did a amazing job there. I guess that Jirachi Bless gave us more power in fire attacks. That battle help a lot to test that power." Heart notices the damage she have after such battle. "Hmm, you are hurt after that Flare Blitz. Let me take care of you." Heart summon Gustav. "Gustav, Heal Pulse. I gonna need to patch the remained wounds with some medic skills."

Action: Heal Pulse of Gustav, and a medicine roll. Insight+Survival+Medicine to restore any remained wounds.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

(4)(2)(2)(5)(3)(4) Rose heals 3 hp. The rest of her wounds will recover with time (they're mostly self-inflicted).

Gotcha! Jungore was caught. Nathan earns 4XP.

2/2/0
Battle Armor
Rock Throw, Bite, Bide, Low Kick, Iron Defense, Rock Slide, Focus Punch
Jungore holds 20XP, ready to be used.

Golden Fist will be a Power 3 Fighting version of Pay Day when he learns the move.

There is one other difference in Golden Fist compared to Pay Day: it's a Fist based move, and thus makes Contact.  I do have one other question about Golden Fist: can it auto generate cash the same way as Pay Day?

Welp, cat's out of the bag now.

If Shiva had known what this pokemon was, I imagine she would have been much more interested in it earlier since the Fortune Hunter had previously expressed interest in finding a pokemon made of gold.  Nathan didn't know what this pokemon was either at first...but then he visited the museum in Cress, where it very clearly stated that Sarimanok imported Jungore and Majungold from Tandor just to show off that he owned the incredibly rare, nearly/already extinct species.  And that Gold Fossils have not ever been found in Creshire.  Or at least, none of them ever made the history books, having all been sold on the black market until the species went extinct from being cannibalized for their gold (which Nathan does know about, he just didn't know anything about the species beyond those rumors about pokemon made of gold being sold before he visited the museum).

What Nathan's found is evidence that Jungore DID once live in Creshire...

...and an opportunity to help bring back the extinct species.

Needless to say, this encounter was 100% right up Nathan's alley, even without considering how insanely valuable a Jungore is.

He smiles.  "Glad to hear you find my request reasonable, Jungore.  We'll keep ya in shape and safe from anyone that would want to take advantage of ya just because of your monetary value."  Jungore probably doesn't understand the part about monetary value, but it'll probably get the gist of it once random people start making a big deal of the gold that's naturally a part of its body...

Jungore is going in a standard pokeball for the time being, but Nathan might be changing that for a different, more special one later.

Being a lizard-like pokemon is probably where most of its laziness comes from.  The fighting type is where the desire to stay in peak condition probably comes from.  Not surprising for Nathan, given that the museum told him exactly what type Jungore was, but it might catch those who don't know off guard!  This little lizard is about to become a swift, fine tuned battler thanks to Nathan's training regimen!

Yeah it's a Fist-based Brawl move, didn't think about that. It'll auto generate cash, and produce worthless metal outside of battle, exactly the same way as Pay Day.

Maybe that will fade once he gets his experience with Deoxys off his chest, and hears what everyone thinks about it.

(Ready for the next set of Encounters, and to begin that Conversation about Deoxys anytime you want mates!)

And Nathan is definitely very interested in hearing what Terra has to say.  The bees have returned with 2 more jars worth of Honey by this point, though Nathan's recalled the both of them.  He also sent a message to Bill via sending the bees back to the present time in exchange for Snivy and Shinx before he reunites with Terra and Heart (and maybe Spira?  Shiva's in the diner, so I imagine that's where everyone will meet with her unless Phantom says otherwise).

Quote:You are not going to believe what the heck we just went through, Bill.  Nearly got smooshed by a Deoxys when we got sent back to the Ice Age, then we met Jirachi...and now I own a Jungore of all things (should be fine to keep him around in this era if I'm correct. Sarimanok used to have one just for show, after all).  The full story's a bit too long for mail, unfortunately, so I'll have to tell ya the details when we get back.  Things are definitely...different for some of us now, though (particularly Heart), which is really the only reason I'm even telling you all of this outright without discussing it with the group in the first place.

In any case, we're in the Chrome Era now, so the good news is that we seem to be going forward in time again.  Spira's still with us, as I was expecting.  Don't think it'll be an issue, but it's definitely worth noting.  I think I figured out part of the reason why we're being dragged through time.  Granted, I don't know the exact reason, but I think I can explain some of it.  Again, I'll tell you when we get back to 2017.

Given how discreet this whole thing with the lurches needs to be, Nathan 100% trusts that Bill will keep the new information under wraps. Plus, when we get back to 2017, Bill might be able to help with some of this, too.

Anyways, when Nathan rejoins Terra, he gets straight to the point.  "Well, Gallade's telling me you feel a little better for the most part, Terra.  What's bothering you, though?"  He's not necessarily going to wait for everyone else to start this conversation since he's concerned about Terra and is the unofficial medical practitioner of the group.

For the record, that strange brown and yellow lizard is on top of Swiftfire now (though I don't think Terra's met Swiftfire yet?), and seems quite content with staying there.  Swiftfire doesn't seem to mind too much for the most part.  Having a heavy Rock pokemon on her back isn't the most comfortable thing in the world since she's a Fire type, but Jungore isn't so heavy that it's unbearable.  It's only a 56 kg/125 lb load, after all.  And she's a big, strong horse now after all the adventuring she's been on with Nathan!  Gallade's next to Nathan and entirely unconcerned with Jungore for the time being, focusing wholly on Terra.

Heart nod his head satisfied then he grab the pokemon with Shieldon inside and send him back to the future. In the place of him he takes Meowth who was inside the PC for a while too. Heart summon him. "Hey Meowth, how are you buddy? Its still me Heart. Many things have happened since the last you came. Ready to go in some adventure?"

With that, Heart returned to Nathan and Terra side. Heart now have 9 Pokemon.

The sagely monk eyebrows minutely rose at the boy's promptness for answers, but nodded back to them in short order, letting out a *Sigh* as he did so.

"Yes, I am. Battle with Bastiodon made me feel a lot better. Caught them like you asked too."

Saying that, he shows the Steely Sapient Shield's Pokeball to them, and allows them to check out its Stats + Moves to confirm it.

"Not sure if I want to keep them, though. Has potential to be great fighter, but is also worth very much. *Frowns* Hard to make decision..... Hm....what do you think I should do? You are smarter than me, so maybe you have better idea of what to do?"

Well, that was an unexpected question, though the directness of it not so much, considering who Terra is. Hmm....

Just as he looked ready to open up about his experience with Deoxys, his gaze wandered over to Swiftfire ('Huh.....so this must be his Rapidash Ven talked about. Hm.....looks pretty and happy.) .....

.....and he noticed what appeared to be some sort of rocky lizard Pokemon on her back.

Which seemed to be partially made out of gold.

That immediately caused the rugged wanderer to freeze, his mouth open and gapping like his hungry Mawile's maw as he stared at the gilded creature for a moment, before he closed it and turned back towards Nathan with a look of raw, deep fascination and wonder, and pointed at them.

"Uh......is that......a......Pokemon made out of gold?"

Aaaaaand the conversation's been derailed! Who'd have thunk that the sight of such a wealthy Pokemon would do that to the mercantile monk?

"...huh.  Wide Guard and Head Smash...and Heavy Slam and Sandstorm...this Bastiodon is really, really experienced...I don't think they can normally learn Head Smash, and Wide Guard and Sandstorm are both rather rare moves as well if I recall correctly...you're not wrong about them being both valuable and a great fighter.  Ditto's Wide Guard while it's been in its Herolune form...that's the pokemon it was Transformed into while we were in Sarimanok's time, in case you were wondering...has minimized any damage taken plenty of times, and attacking moves that strong mean it can play aggressively, too...personally, I'd hang on to them because they might be useful, but that's just me.  And when I tugged on their threads, I noticed Bastiodon and Shieldon were connected to you, Terra.  Not sure exactly why, but they were.  If you keep it, Bastiodon will probably get along well with you, I imagine.  And I can also personally attest that facing Rock types in a Sandstorm is incredibly difficult without exploiting their weaknesses after both facing and abusing that strategy myself.  Up to you to decide what to do with 'em in the end, of course.  I just want to make sure it finds a good home."  (For reference, that means Nathan won't mind if you trade Shieldon, @Spiritmon.  Nathan has faith he won't regret his own decisions, and that there's some kind of nice trainer out there who'll appreciate having Shieldon as a friend.)

Straightforward question, straightforward answer! (EDIT: BTW, there's also opportunity for Terra to ask a rather astute question concerning Jungore's thread if you think it'd be something Terra would do, Windos.)

Welp, probably should have expected Terra to react like that to Jungore.  Ah well.

Jungore just looks quizzically at Terra.  To him, this is normal.  And not a big deal at all.  He doesn't yet understand how...significant having gold embedded in his body is.  Humans are most definitely a new thing for him, though he doesn't seem to mind the situation so much since Nathan was so nice to him.

Nathan sighs a little.  "...yes, Terra, it is.  This is Jungore, a species that was hunted to extinction for that very reason from what I know of it.  It's another kind of Fossil pokemon, but it's quite possibly the rarest Fossil pokemon of them all.  Sarimanok once imported a Gold Fossil from Tandor and revived it just to show off how fabulously wealthy he was.  There have been exactly 0 reported instances of finding Gold Fossils in Creshire as far as the history books are concerned, if you can believe that.  I know I can..." I'm sure Terra can put two and two together about the whole black market thing, given his mercantile background.

Nathan frowns thoughtfully, then shakes his head and tries to get things back on topic.

"...anyways...you were about to say something before you saw Jungore, yes?"

Shiva's following the news more secondarily than attentively as it's more interesting for her to interact with her Pokemon, but she certainly does pick up on the date: With delight and newly-arisen eager thanks to the realization that they're coming closer to returning to 2017, she goes back to following her own business. None seems to mind that she's having several Pokemon out, in fact she soon recognizes the diner as very Pokemon-friendly. Aww!

The sensation that Nightshade is on a good way to develop an Egg containing a smol Cherubi was QUITE a suprise for Shiva, especially since she can't remember leaving her at the Daycare nor even bringing her close to a matching male breeding partner. Eh... She'd either assume asexual reproduction, gathered and concentrated energy from the sun + earthpower or something having to do with the latest happenings as the suspected reasons, but she's way more delighted over this than she is wondering how it got there. She can't help but to envelop her dear sunbringer into a close hug.♡

Or maybe Spira/@Mikaruge108 has any ideas as he's having more practical experience in Pokemon Breeding, Shiva will greet and wave him over to her table once he arrives at the diner. (Which he said he would as soon as being done with dumpster-diving.)

2xp for Primal Glaceon as the Lucky Eggs I asked Keni's dad for grant a bonus on Training ROLLS but not SESSIONS (proof). Am I right in the assumption that there's no upward limit or border how many XP a Pokemon can collect in total? It's my Pokemon, so it should be under my discretion what to do with the XP it gathers.

Spira picks up the ornamant and tosses it up in the air a couple of times, then puts it in his pocket, when he notices the lone oran, he picks it, and gives it as a held item to Nubi. He then sees a discarded doll, and remembering Nathan's somewhat reserved feelings on the one they picked up in '25, picks it up and puts in his pocket. (I'll have him use it on Noire when she has 3 or more loyalty) He also removes the hooded cloak he'd been wearing, puts his hat back on and heads to the diner.
