Heart release Rose, just in case something might happen. When Nathan ask his opinion, he think for a second. "I guess you should be careful Warren. We don't know if that gem is indeed a Key Stone. In the worse scenario, the energy flow of Earthpower could tear appart your arm. Maybe even destroy your body if not careful. I can think in "N" things it might get wrong in that experiment. Also, you should ask Shiva, Terra and Spira their opinions too. Their thoughts is more important than mine and as much important as Gallade."

As for Spira mysterious pokeball...is Heart recognize something @Iron in his travels? He have visited many kinds of places, regions and some ruins so he might remember something in his travels.

Yeah, I think Heart might have seen or heard of things like that. And when Heart shares what he knows, it may trigger Nathan's memory of Juliet's transformation.

There are some dangerous Ghost-type Pokemon who sometimes become chained to their Pokeballs after being abandoned or lost. Their shackles prevent them from taking revenge on the causes of their abandonment. Very, very dangerous, especially when evolved.

It's also possible to shackle any Pokemon into its Pokeball to prevent it from letting itself out. Such shackles are a bit expensive and require a special key to release the button. These shackled Pokeballs cannot be sent to the PC. Almanac does make them, but didn't invent the shackles.

Medicham considers these terms, then agrees to them! He doesn't even seem too reluctant about it. Clearly he still has an agenda. He'll be willing to ride along in a Pokeball.

Gotcha! Medicham was caught!

2/2/0, but Medicham may disobey if an order conflicts with his agenda. Similar to Calam.
Pure Power
Gravity, 0 XP moves, Hidden Power, Mind Reader, Feint, Calm Mind, Force Palm, Hi Jump Kick, Psych Up, Acupressure
Medicham's Hidden Power is a passive one. If he's been in the party for 24 hours leading up to a combat, he has a +1 Dex Surprise that can stack with moves and such. (It's assumed he found time to use his move in that 24 hours, but going to the PC or something will reset it).

Gallade doesn't sense any malice in Heart's item, but he doesn't have a clue what it is. The sealed Ball, however, is something he keeps far, far away from unless ordered to approach.

Terra puts the gem on. It straps on easily, and can easily be seen from this position. The flashing pattern doesn't change at all - only when approaching Nathan. Terra does notice that the topmost facet, the one he can see with his peripheral vision, gets more and more purple when near to Nathan.

Shiva gets 4Xp for helping the Baby Pokemon. This encounter will have repercussions later, I think.

(Added and I'm curious to see these future repercussions, Shiva herself hopes the pack has made it to eventually find the one they've been looking for. Good luck at the first show tonight by the way!~)

Terra lets out a small *sigh* of relief and wanly smiles when the psychic monk's easily complied with his demands, as them Fighting with Gallade/Gothitelle was one less thing he had to worry about now. Of course, he still had to deal with their enigmatic/willful behavior and general distrust towards his friend's favorite Pokemon (or one of, in Shiva's case) , but hopefully enough time bonding between him and the group will ease those issues. If not, and/or things become worse with them SOMEHOW.....well, they would fetch a pretty Poke on the market.

Once he got them registered to a Pokeball, the Steely brawler decided to keep Medicham in it for that time being, as it was abundantly clear even to him that their flowery first impressions they left most everyone tense, on edge, and generally in a sour/distrusting mood. Best to let things cool off and privately socialize with the master meditator on his own time first, before working on their PR with everyone else....

'.....Things more tricky with Medicham than I thought would be. *Mental Sigh* Hope we can.....still be good partners, and that he becomes more......friendly to Gallade and Gothitelle in future. Or not cause problems, at least.'

Lapis would also be recalled by this point to recover from his prolonged stay on dry land, but not before giving his partner a soothing nuzzle to help clear away their stress. Things might have been hectic now, but they'd become more pleasant sooner or later...

(If it's possible, I'd like a chance to Flashforward to a time/location that Terra can be alone with Medicham, as I want to name them at that moment and interact with them more/test things out with them without riling everyone up in game more AND not wasting everyone's time OOC. If not, I'll schedule for such later.)

Seeing as nothing particularly ruinous happened when he donned the Rainbow Relic besides its continued reaction towards Nathan, Terra deemed it to be safe enough for everyone else to where, and so promptly unequipped and presented it to the boy (with Heart's permission first, of course).

"Nothing happened, except for top part of gem to......become more purple near you. *Shrugs* Think gem thingy is safe enough. Didn't feel anything wrong or.....not good with it. *Looks stern/serious* If anything bad or.....too wierd happen, though, take it off immediately. Okay? *Nods* Okay. Here you go."

He hands over the strange gem plate, and stepped off to the side with arms crossed, now vigilant and primed for anything that may/may not spark up between it and the boy. If something ominous started to occur, he'd be the first to react guaranteed, as he'll be pluck like a Torchic before he lets anything disastrous befall his friend uncontested!

Nathan sighs a little.  "...ya know, you sound like my mom sometimes..."

Nathan's hardly surprised by the gem's top part apparently turning a more vivid purple.  "...purple's commonly the color of royalty, and also the primary color of Sarimanok's banner.  I'm, uh...*ahem*...apparently descended from Sarimanok's grandfather.  Rather distantly, but...even a smidgen of royal blood is enough to inherit some of their skills and such...most if not all of the Progenitors were at least a tiny bit related to Sarimanok's line, however distantly, so locking the use of potentially powerful items like this behind whether the wearer has noble blood would have been a good way to keep the commonfolk from stealing and using such items for themselves..."

Nathan coughs slightly, feeling a little awkward.  "...not that you should treat me any differently or anything...the noble houses don't have much of a place in today's society..."  He mostly said that for Terra's benefit, but it could also be taken as a general statement.

For the record, Gallade would probably the first one to actually react if anything untoward started happening to Nathan.  But given that Gallade's not worried about the gem atm, everything's probably going to be fine, right?

Nathan starts fiddling with the straps attached to the plate the gemstone is set on.  "...trust me, if something I don't really like starts happening, this thing is coming off pronto, one way or another."

So, does anything happen when Nathan straps the gemstone on?

Oh, and as for the info on the sealed pokeball...I'm waiting for @Spiritmon to type up something IC first before I get to Nathan's response to any revealed info.

"No surprise to me. You still my friend Nathan, no matter what kind of bloodline you have. You could be son of Arceus itself and I would still treat you at the same way. Just...don do let that royal bloodline thing go in the top of your head okay? We care of you old friend." Heart tap a few times in Nathan shoulder."

As for the pokeball, Heart inform the team about what is the mysterious pokeball. "Welp, I guess what you find Spira it's a special of Pokemon. During my research about Deltamon and Tandor Pokemon, I find some kinds of different Pokemon very uncommon in many regions: A Grass/Fire Pokemon called Fritiki, the "little Master of Evil" Mynian, along with others. I also discover some strange and odd Ghost-types."

Heart then points at Spira Pokeball. "That's pokeball... have a Linkite. The chain Pokemon. Pokeballs have some sort of lock who can stop a Pokemon from trying escape though... and this poor guy was locked inside of it...and...die." Heart make a hurt face. "A Linkite it's the soul of a Pokemon who die in loneliness, despair and sometimes even hate by his trainer. They sometimes takes the form of a doll from substitute as main body...it's very much sad actually. But at the same time, Linkite its a vengeful pokemon, who will try kill anyone who disturb him. Even using killing methods. Thats problably why that pokeball its tight seal, to not free such vengeful and dangerous pokemon. Humanity sometimes it's the worse. Its times like this I agree with "N". Maybe the pokemon race would be better without us."

This discussion is probably before Nathan tries strapping on the gemstone, I imagine.

"...Linkite...look like Substitute dolls?  And they're...dangerous Ghost types?"

Nathan looks to Gallade, who's still eyeing that sealed pokeball warily...he can feel that Gallade is...tense.  Not really afraid at the moment, but...definitely tense.  Whatever's in that pokeball, Gallade would prefer it stays in there.

Something about Heart's description of Linkite rings a few bells for Nathan, however...

"...that...sounds like some stories I've heard, thinking about it again..."

Still a few bells ringing, though...Nathan has to think about that for a few minutes, but he HAS seen a pokemon that sorta fits Heart's description before...

Kind of.

'...hang on...a substitute doll...hmmm...wait a second...that...also sounds familiar...'

Nathan looks at Gallade to see if he's thinking the same thing.

Gallade nods.

"...Juliet...when we first met her, she disguised herself as a pokemon that looked like a Substitute doll that had been chained to its pokeball.  It was...unsettling, but also...really, really sad...thinking back on it, seeing a pokemon like that so far underground is just as weird as it is unsettling, but Gallade was getting along so well with Juliet that I just didn't think about that much at the time..."

It's hard for Nathan to imagine such an innocent looking pokemon being violent.  Impossible, though?  No.

Not if the pokemon felt it was abandoned or killed in cold blood.  Or similar.

He's not 100% convinced there's a vengeful Ghost in that pokeball yet, but he's reasonably certain there might be, based on where Spira went and how Gallade is reacting...he just need some confirmation for his suspicions...

"...you found that pokeball in the wreck, Spira?  Did you...see any dates listed anywhere while you were over there?"
