Another chuckle from Nathan.  Again, Heart's not quite sure why Nathan's laughing...

Gallade nods to Heart, though.  Seems everything's okay.

"I can't issue a Temporary Ball to a civilian while the owner is known, but if Arcanine wants to accompany you instead of us, that's really none of my business."

Arcanine barks, he's going to go with Shiva.

"I wish you luck, but more importantly, be very careful. Don't confront anyone, just call us if you find anything. Here's my card."

The officers conduct a small forensic investigation on the scene, and determine that the Scimitars were indeed the most likely aggressors (and not you guys). "We may need you to appear in court, so please don't go anywhere without cell service."

"I want to give each of you one of these care packages, to make sure you're OK and to thank you for defending yourselves so well. There's one for your companions who came to report to us, as well."

Each crate contains six red Pokeballs, two Potions, and an Antidote.

We fast-forward a little. You get a video call at the Pokemon Center from Officer Jenny and Corporal Furrow.

"Nathan? Heart? Hello. We raided a warehouse in the west of town, executed a no-knock warrant. Broke down the door, and right away your gem stopped blinking. A woman matching Juni's description was seen leaping from the second-story window and Teleporting away. But we've taken three men and two women into custody, who all claim they were employed by an anonymous employer. They may be able to give evidence toward a Pokemon trafficking conviction once we follow the money and figure out who owns this warehouse. This, of course, may be able to bring us more clues as to who attacked you and the eight missing trainers. Well, I should say the three missing trainers. In the upper stories of the warehouse, in what may be Juni's offices, we found an Elminster, a Flora, a Freddi, a Bobbi, and a Taylor. If possible, it'd be great if you could come to the station and confirm these are the people you saw."

"One more thing - do you know anything about this? - a tall man in denim and flannel was seen skulking around the construction site on Cress Cliff, in the company of an Absol. With a Dark type like that and such a furtive attitude, we are worried he may be up to no good. They said he wore thick gloves and a hat lowered over his eyes. Had no other Pokemon with him, apparently."

"Anyway, we've got the gem stored away here in the Western Station lockers. Present that receipt and we can get it back to you anytime that's convenient."

Shiva's never seen a real court from inside yet, neither have I, it's been her parents who settled everything concerning the lawsuit of the owner of the Nidoking. But there currently are no plans to head deep into mountains or near strong magnets, so all should be well on that front.

She thankfully cuddles Arcanine more and nuzzles his soft fur for his agreement to stick with her until being reunited with his rightful owner. "Very well then, Arcanine", she'd softly whisper to him, "I... I will make sure you're safe and sound, please have patience until you'll be with Detective Thrawn again. You're a brave and strong and big dog, I'm sure you'll make it.♡ Just...let me know if something's up, alright? No, I won't ask you battle for me - us - but I might ask you to use your sensitive nose if there's a need." She registers Arcanine to the offered Temporary League Ball. It won't count against her legal party of six Pokemon. That's funny, Dizzy's gone only shortly ago and Shiva already found a successor - no 'replacement', nothing could ever take the place of the Infiltrator.

That care package is also thankfully accepted, if it's okay she'll store those for Nathan and Heart and hand them to them as soon as they're back. Hopefully soon, as now that things got handled somewhat, she begins to worry for them.

He doesn't give you a Temporary Ball. You're not a League official so you are not allowed to use one on a Pokemon who already is registered to a real Poke Ball.

But Arcanine will work like Dizzy - won't take up a slot.

The sagely monk accepts the officer's card with a nod, and offered them another one at their request, as neither of them were unreasonable at all. Secretly, though, Terra was worried that he and the group would be dragged through time again, preventing everyone from heeding the police and making their job that much harder. If that were to happen......well, there's nothing much he could do about it, except perhaps meet up with the police again back in the Present.

Getting a care package for fending off the Scimitar was a surprise for Terra, as he didn't really expect to get anything out of that besides the satisfaction of bringing neer-do-wells to JUSTICE, but he recovered to accept it graciously. Free stuff is almost always good to receive, so he's not going to look a gift Ponyta in the mouth on this!

(not at a physical keyboard right now and probably won't be online Black Friday, so I'll keep this consice enough for now.)
-Spira doesn't have anything to help restrain the Scimitar
-While he likes the Scimitar's goals he doesn't like the villianous ways they're going about them and is not in favor of letting any of them free
-He'll spend time with Noire to increase her loyalty for now.
