[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
@Iron's discretion. That'd be fine too, I mostly wish for a chance to exchange a few words with both.

If everything goes well, Grid might be able to end this before Juni even gets to act.  A 4 Strength, Itching Powder and STAB boosted, 5 hit Fury Cutter will absolutely wreck a 3 Vitality target.  (potentially capping at 20 D6 + 5 damage without critting)  But first, Nathan wants to make absolutely sure that Juni KNOWS she's been caught.  That might even get Juni to just outright surrender without a fight.

In retrospect I should have expected it, but I still stand by my statement that I'm getting tired of the group being yanked through time. Not much we can meaningfully do in the past, beyond taking whatever we collected with us, as Anti Time Paradox Rules prevent us from making any sweeping changes. That, and having no control over the Lurches unlike Nathan makes me feel wanting, especially when it confers benefits he gets that no one else does (Even though logically he's the only one that could get them in the first place, but that's partially me point right there).

Spira's going to have to leave Hilda resting on the mountain somewhere, and then re-capture them in the present, right? Wonder how's that going to work out.....

Given that she has the power to drain the powers of Pokemon AND Humans, she's liable to put up quite a fight once she figures out that not only is she trapped, but stuck in the past too. 'The cornered rat bites the cat,' and so on. Grid can and will most likely take care of her in short order, but if not, then Angie + Tommy will be more than happy to settle the score against the witch....

Of course, when the group inevitably LURCHES! again, we could just leave here stranded in the past to more or less permanently take care of her after she's been pumped of intel, without resorting to squirty murder or Cheshire's legal system.

How fitting that only shortly Shiva's Nature Speciality maxed out.

I can't stay up the whole night to play, but please give me opportunity to hand Arcanine personally to Detective Thrawn, alright?

After Juni's taken care of, Terra's liable to join Shiva in here exploration, as he has a keen appreciate of Nature too (though nowhere near as robust as Shiva's now) , due to learning all about it from Surviving in the wilds/doing some rare reading up on the subject, and he'd want to make sure she's taken care of in case something nasty pops out of the jungle works.

Regarding Arcanine, go right ahead and return them to Thrawn! Speaking of which, we'll have to deal with one confused Detective too, though an implied/not written out infodump could suffice in catching them up and bringing him in the fold.

Not sure if he needs to release Hida, tbh.

Use Fake Out on her.  If she Flinches, it's Game Over for her almost guaranteed.  Even though draining the powers of others around her seemed to buff her in some way, it didn't seem to have any visible effect on her stats from what I could tell.

We could, but with Thrawn there, we have a lawman present to help handle the aftermath of the situation.

Nathan can talk with Thrawn about the time travel thing, no problem.  And also about what to do with Juni.  And he needs to talk with someone else, too...

@Iron, can Nathan also send out Calam before the Round begins?  (Or rather, Calam essentially just decides to show up and get involved as usual)

Yeah, there is enough room here for whatever.

So Spira just places their Pokeball somewhere on the volcano? That still leaves the question of how's he going to find it.....if its still intact after a thousand years or so and Hilda stuck around/survived into the Present era.

Alright, but I don't know if its possible for Order for Tommy to be changed now. Had to rush off to dinner when I made them, so it might already be too late.....

Hmm......good point. The idea of leaving Juni high and dry around in that era with nothing but the cloak on her back is mighty appealing, but Thrawn probably wouldn't approve of such callousness. Unless the Scims already got started buggering him, in which case he might want to start buggering them back.

Yay, and double yay! Who else would he need to talk too, though....?

I meant more like deregister Hida from the pokeball.  I don't think you have to release a pokemon to leave them somewhere so long as they still have loyalty to their original trainer (see the anime episode where Ash first met what would eventually become his Charmander.  Couldn't be captured initially despite being abandoned and never released, but was capturable as soon as that loyalty went away)

Shiva, Spira, and Heart haven't sent in any orders yet. I haven't posted mine either yet (but they're almost ready).  Edit away, I say!  I can send in Calam to Taunt Juni if it happens to matter since the odds of her managing to outspeed Calam are about 1/36.  (Calam has to roll a (1) and Juni has to roll a (6) for her to manage it if her Initiative bonus is still +7 compared to Calam's +11)

You'll see who Nathan needs to talk to soon enough.

Okie dokie, I'll get to editting my orders! Now that I recall, Calam's a pretty fast bugger, but with *6 DEX and his own bag of tricks backing him up, its hard not for him to be the speediest of demons.

Again, okie dokie!

Alright, I just edited my orders to have Tommy use Fake Out to stunlock Juni for Grid/Calam/Any other Pokemon to take care of her lickity split! That, and and Accuracy and Damage Calculations for all his and Angie's Moves too, so that's nice!

7* Dex, actually.  +1 Dex surprise OP, yo Wink

It's scary how fast Calam is when he's not facing opponents with comparable speed to him.  +1 Dex and +1 Survival goes a long ways towards making sure very few targets are able to outpace him.
