[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

This one you can't get on voicemail - no cell towers in 1005AD. Maybe someone is taking notes.

"...probably a lot better than the alternatives, yes.  I'm honestly not entirely sure why Spira's with us, though.  I certainly didn't have any control over that at the time.  I'm not sure how exactly he fits into Celebi's plan yet..."

Nathan nods when asked if he'd like to help.  "We'll still be traveling since we have important business to attend to, but I have no problems with helping make sure she stays behind bars.  Juni mentioned that her superiors will attempt to silence her, though.  Her gauntlet not exploding while it's attached to her arm is a good first step to preventing that, but they probably have other methods as well if I had to guess.  It'd be preferable if the gauntlet didn't explode at all, to be honest, but unless we can figure out how to disarm that explosive without it blowing up in our faces..."  *shrug*

"I've not told her what time period we're currently in, nor have I told her what exact year me and the rest of the group are from.  Well, years, I suppose.  I'm not sure if she knows Marco's my dad, but I'd be very surprised if she hasn't by now.  She certainly knew more than the grunt we questioned in 2014, at least.  I'm not sure how much she might know about history, but I'm also not sure it's worth risking."

Nathan clears his throat.

"...so, uh...sorry you got involved in all of this, Detective...this isn't exactly what I think either of us were expecting to find when we heard about hooded figures assaulting someone at the Ruins...it was...really hard trying not to say the victim was my dad...he, uh...he's been missing ever since 2014, and I hadn't heard of any leads about where he might have gone for the last 3 years, so...I mean, it's better to know now where he vanished and that it was because he was on a secret mission that we probably shouldn't talk about much, but...*sigh*..."

While he's still pretty angry at Juni and won't be taking it easy on her at all, Nathan's trying really hard to not let that anger cloud his better judgement.  Hopefully.

(In case it wasn't clear, Nathan's in favor of turning Juni in to the authorities to hopefully put her behind bars.)

"It seems clear the lack of leads is due to suppression on the part of the Scimitars. By jumping forward to 2017 I think we can catch them by surprise! I'm sure they won't be expecting a half-dozen eyewitnesses to pop up!"

Seems to me like we have a plan for Juni, so assume she's all tied up and being dragged along with at least one of you.

What actions do you want to take in 1005AD?

Nathan almost certainly has been, given his note taking habits!

"Let alone ones that know exactly what's going on and know more about the organization than they should.  It's not the first time me, Shiva, and Heart have tangoed with them, however.  We keep running into them because of both conflicts of interest and 'common goals', and I don't think that's going to stop any time soon...ironically, I think they might have hastened the coming of this 'threat' Juni was talking about while they were searching for ways to prevent it...and now we're trying to figure out how to clean up the messes they seem to keep making...some of the Legendaries are apparently very concerned about the Scimitars causing so much trouble...not yet to the point where they think they'll have to intervene, but..."

*ahem*

I know exactly what Nathan and Gallade are going to want to do.

Shiva (@PhantomUnderYourDesk) probably eventually hears a nervous sounding *ahem* from behind her.

And of course, she finds Nathan and Gallade when she turns around.

"...so...uh...would ya mind if we borrow Pancham for a little bit, Shiva?  His help would be...well...helpful...Gallade's still trying to learn..."

Gallade punches the air, tightens his fist when it reaches the theoretical point of impact...

"...yeah...that...Drain Punch.  Just...needs a little more refining..."

Terra's likely the one that has taken over the duty of handling Juni, as he's the one person that is the most neutral about her overall (So he'll not treat her better/worse than she deserves), and is overall the toughest person for the job of bodyguarding period. That, and he can (and probably will, if there is no complaints) literally strap her to Angie and send them high skyward to more or less ensure she can't get away ever, short of her spontaneously being able to fly herself WITHOUT 'magic' or some other trick. Having a giant flying angelic dragon does wonders for......well, most anything if you have the space for one, but especially for transport and scouting/guarding!

As for what the sagely monk does now, his first instinct will be to follow along with and help Shiva once she gets to foraging the area for all sorts of useful botanical growth/riches of Nature (Which Phantom has stated she has wanted to do in the Meta Thread, so no delays necessary on this!), as he both is interested in exploring the wilds of this era himself and would sooner take up the Scimitar cause than let her wander around alone in unknown and potentially DANGEROUS territory. He knows that she can handle most threats herself by now, but hey, better safe than sorry, right? Plus, he gets to spend time sharing and enjoying a common interest/passion with her, so all the more reason to tag along!

Once she's done with her activity and there's still time left before the next *LURCH*, the mountain of a man would want to check out the cave mentioned earlier, or search the area for any interesting Items/Pokemon if another person already is checking the place out. That is all!

Before Terra does anything, he remembers the spare care packages/reward the detectives from 2014 handed out for everyone, and goes over to Nathan and Heart to give them their's.

"Uh......here *Hands over the Items*. Police gave these as a reward for.......taking care of the Scimitars, but.....forgot to give you yours until now. Sorry...."

He's rubs the back of his head bashfully as he says this, looking remarkably goofy for such a mountain of a man.

"*Blinks*Hm.....oh. Remember I have not told you about what the other Scimitar.........told me about too. Recorded what he said as voicemail, to....keep as evidence and not have to memorize what he said. Want to hear it?"

Presumably they say yes, he plays it for them, waiting for Nathan to get his pen and paper ready if he wants to take his own notes too (He's thoughtful like that!). Now everyone's caught up on intel!

(6 red pokeballs, 2 Potions, and 1 Antidote in case you needed a reminder and hadn't written them down yet, @Spiritmon!)

Nathan doesn't comment much about the package of items, but does give a small nod to Terra in thanks.

As for the voicemail recording evidence...

Yup, Nathan wants to hear it, and he writes that down too so he can compare the information to Juni's statements later.  (I'll need to take some time to actually write it down later...maybe tomorrow, when I have the day off)
