[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
I'm actually sort of interested in Togepi, Sceptile, Darmanitan, and Alakazam myself (Sceptile and Alakazam moreso than Togepi and Darmanitan, tbh, but they all have their appealing points).  Wouldn't take all 4, obviously.  Just considering things for the time being. Haven't made any final decisions yet since adopting these pokemon isn't going to happen for awhile.  Sceptile would be the least difficult one for Nathan since it's part of the Dragon egg group and its Mega is a Dragon type.

Nathan would very much be against releasing Sceptile now.  It's evidence the League is going to want, and if it's set free instead of adopted, there's nothing wrong with letting it free in the Earthstar Forest.

Hmm, good point about that Sceptile, and I long to eventually explore Earthstar Forest anyway. I'd be fine to abstain from setting them free and leave them for you to take if you want, but I'd definitely wish to keep Togepi and Alakazam please for the stated reasons.

About the others, pick what you like, people, I'll take what remains in the end for the sake of bringing them back into the wild.

I was interested in take Darmanitan, Gengar or Starmie since Starmie have access to Recover who is a good move, Gengar because of the soldier bloodline who pacify a bit the spook ghost, and Darmanitan because it's a strong pokemon at its own, and have a interesting ability to change to Zen Mode and his fire moves can receive a boost of power thought Heart fire tag

Now that I think of it... taking Juni pokemon wasn't make us kinda bad as those Scimitars? I mean, they were trying to steal pokemon, and we are kinda doing the same thing. Make me feel bad....

Nope, not really I'd guess? These Pokemon from the Scimitars aren't stolen, if Geordie hasn't been blatantly lying they've been more or less ordinary Pokemon that either have been bred, recruited or captured in the wild like the run-of-the-mill Trainer does. They just don't have the best or fruitful life as their partners as they're not seeing any direct battles. Means, no qualms in taking some of Juni's Pokemon if desired, while she herself might not really be happy about it she won't need them where she's going to.

If we take them now, you could argue we're being thieves, yes.

The League will want all of them as evidence, though.  And once they no longer need them as evidence, they will either release them or put them up for adoption (or return them to their rightful owners if they're stolen).  At that point, it's definitely not thievery if they're adopted through legal means.  Juni's certainly not going to be needing them where she's going to be going.

There is a chance the Scimitars use stolen pokemon from time to time.  Both times Nathan faced Scimitars in battle before the Mt. Sentry arc, there was the danger of his pokemon being stolen.

In any case, the League needs to look at those pokemon first for multiple reasons before we can take any of them.

Does the League really have to take a look at ALL of Juni's Pokemon at first, @Iron? I'd like to know from you directly for a secure answer please. Wouldn't one or two of Juni's Pokemon suffice as an evidence?

Also darn it, forgot something; Spira could have left the Midnight Seed in 2014 orz

You can retcon that if you'd like. If you hide it where no one can find and harvest it.

Thrawn will advise you that every bit of evidence could count. It's possible the Pokemon have seen different things, as it's known Juni rotates her party depending on what mission she's attempting. So yeah each of them counts as evidence, but you have to decide for yourselves whether it's worth mishandling evidence a bit.
