Bastiodon is much more powerful than the Pansage, and his steely skin helps him resist dangerous Grass moves. He pretty much tramples all over the Pansage. I'm just going to roll a dice, and if he gets a 5 or 6 he escapes unharmed. Anything lower, Terra will have the chance to use a Potion or Healing Item and gain some Loyalty.

Bastiodon tromps Pansage into the ground until it faints. He's mostly using Heavy Slam by default, and it would not take many hits. Without input from a trainer he'll use only offensive moves and Protect, unless he feels loyalty toward a vulnerable target, in which case he'd use Wide Guard on his own following his instincts.

Bastiodon gains 2 XP and 1 Happiness. He likes the jungle because there's so much foliage here to eat.

(Out of curiosity how much honey is considered a "unit"?)
Spira sees how his Pokemon (Specifically Noire) react to the honey, if she likes the honey enough he'll give her a unit of honey, and save the other for cooking purposes. He uses a couple of 3 lb Mason jars he has on hand to store it.

Eventually, Terra would hear the distinct sound of wings singing and humming through the air, and jerk his head towards the noise, discovering that yes, there was a Flygon hovering above and around the group. At first he was on high Alert, since he knew from experience how dangerous or devious on of the desert djini could be, but he quickly cottoned onto the fact that it didn't seem to be doing anything besides staring at the strange light (Something he'd been avoiding to do himself, since he nearly got captured by Deoxys and changed on a fundametal level). He also knew for a fact that a volcanic and tropical jungle wasn't a nature home or biome the literally dragonflies, so in the end he was left more confused and perplexed with its presence than anything else.

".....Uh......what is a Flygon doing here? Why is it.....staring into the......strange lights? "

He looks over at Nathan and Shiva as he says this, due to the fact he know's those two are the most Knowledgable about Pokemon in their own ways. Maybe they know the secret behind this odd event.....?

"...well, to answer the first question, that's my Ditto that's up there...as for the second question...I'm not entirely sure why it's staring at the Millennium Comet, to be perfectly honest..."  (and Nathan is able to infer that that's the strange light's source.  Iron PMed Bill's response to Nathan's earlier message to me, and it was basically just the same info that Shiva got.)

Shiva, just like Gallade and Spira, would be able to tell that Ditto feels different.  Gallade is having a difficult time communicating exactly what that might mean, though.  Spira's 5 Insight also isn't quite high enough to get the full meaning out of it, either.  Shiva's super high Insight allows her to get as much info as Gallade, however.

Which is...well, not much more than what Spira got.  Mostly, it's that Ditto feels like it's changed in some way due to the strange light, and is very curious about it...it's a strange feeling, and yet it's somehow familiar to the Transform Pokemon, as if it's not a feeling that's new to it...

After a time of staring at the Millennium Comet, Dittogon decides that staring for much longer isn't going to get it any answers, and opts to land.  It doesn't seem like the light had any adverse effects or anything...nothing obvious has changed about Ditto, nor is it acting weirdly.  It's still very much rather aloof towards Nathan for the most part, but it's definitely not hostile.

All in all, it's hard to tell exactly why Ditto feels like something about it has changed.

Swablu has probably been staring curiously at the Ditto turned Flygon the entire time as well.  Ooooooo....

Calam/Dizzy's still brooding, though now he's staring at Angie since that's where Juni currently is (apparently).



Oh, and one more thing: Nathan probably returns Pancham to Shiva at this point, though he's still kinda awkward about it.  "...thanks again.  He helped a lot.  Not to nag about it or anything, though, but...he seemed kinda bored.  Might be a good thing for him to get out of the PC more often...just...figured you might want to know that..."

Gothitelle has something minor to add to this: She lets Shiva know that Ditto's transformations are affected by the cycles of various celestial objects. At its simplest, the phase of the moon. Others are impacted by the position of the stars and planets, or even significant celestial visitors apparently!

If anything else, Terra at least knows that this prehistoric powerhouse's motto is 'The best defense is a good offense!' after seeing them utterly trounce that green afroed monkey, which was somewhat confusing for him (As he read Bastiodon were usually not very violent) yet impressive to witness. No one faces Bastiodon without being reduced to the dimensions of a pancake and/or stone cold KOed!

After the Fight, the sagely monk tries to catch the Fainted Pokemon after getting Melly to Paralyze them (Man, she's ALWAYS useful!), using as many of his remaining 6 Pokeballs left to do so. Might as well try to catch it, and see if he can make a profit of the strange age in the future-present!

Once Pansage is caught/isn't, he'll make his way back to the group, leaving out his ironclad dino by his side to graze as it pleases, so long as they remain close by. It seemed to savor eating all the tasty greens it could, and it's pretty much an invincible to almost everything in the jungle, so why not let them stay out and enjoy itself?

Unfortunately for Terra, while Shiva does notice his questioning look and caught up his confusion, no worded response comes from the natural fae enthusiast as she was simply more occupied/interested in 1. enjoying being able to breath freely again - she definitely needed and appreciated this after having spent so much time in the rainforest (If you've ever been in a tropical house of a zoo, maybe you can relate to that), and 2. welcoming Pancham back in her arms with a fond cuddle. She was just about to ask Nathan whether he was a fine help for Gallade and whether everything went well, but he already beat her in that. That other comment she respectfully ignores, kinda after the saying 'If you don't have anything nice to say, it's probably better to say nothing at all!'

Concerning FlygonDitto, it's relatively easy for Shiva to guess that this his infamous Ditto, she joins the dragonfly at starring into that strange light from the expected comet for a few moments before concentrating on somethingelse again. She gives a faint nod to Lilith to emphasize that this is kinda what she's been guessing as well, but she fails to get what a Flygon has to do with this incoming Millenium Comet - but oh well, there are other things to worry about at the moment!

Like for example this strange cave that caught Shiva's eye earlier or to be more specific at the same time she spotted the rainforest. As she meets Tropius' gaze while looking in direction of this cave, he spreads his leafy wings a bit and puffs up almost like Cottonee usually does, clearly enjoying to be surrounded with so much nature. Purrloin, now having ventured to curl up on the grassy sauropode's pack for a small nap, yawns and stretches, showing her sharp teeth and claws while doing so. It looked increadibly adorable in Shiva's view. <3

"Alright...", she eventually speaks up and stretches her arms in an almost catlike manner as well, "Tropius, of course you can stay out and enjoy some free time!~ Have a free flight or enjoy your natural habitat as long we can, I'll probably go and see what's up with this....cave there. You see it? Yes, THAT one." *points towards it* "Purrloin, please come. We MIGHT not find birds in there, but maybe anythingelse with wings you can pursue. And YOU, Pancham dear..." *Shiva takes a bold and ready-to-fight stance* We'll see whether there's anything living in there that you can beat up. I hope you're up to see your fists clashing with something!~" Finally she turns towards Raphael, he almost instantly begins to hum again. "Raphael, sweet archangel... What would you wish to do more, come with me to see what we may fnd in that cave or enjoy some free flying alongside Tropius? The choice is entirerly yours, dear one... Pick what you'd enjoy more!"

After that humid and hot air and all the sunshine of the rainforest, a stroll into a dark and significantly chillier cave sounds like a fine idea. That, and she's increadibly curious what may call this cave its home or what loot is just waiting to be found and gathered. For safety and to prevent anyone from worrying for her, she'll turn towards the others to state that she'll venture into this strange-looking cave up there *points to it* and asks "So, ehm, does anyone of you wish to join me on seeing what's up with it? It's alright if not, do as you please. But, maybe... if I don't come back at the coming of the night, please come and... search for me, I'll try to call for or send help if anything happens to me." She grows a bit meek. "N-not that I won't take care, but just in case! Alright?"

Oof.  That just kinda makes Nathan shrink back uncomfortably.  Because while Shiva didn't say anything, sometimes not saying anything doesn't exactly help either...and Gallade can tell Shiva's ignoring Nathan's comments again.  He just sighs quietly, though, keeping his thoughts to himself.

Swablu chirps and curiously pokes her head out of the 'birdhouse' when Shiva mentions birds, completely unafraid of that tiny lil' cat that's following the strange newcomer.

A note about that cave: since it's on the lip of the volcano, it might not necessarily be as cool in there as you might expect...

Nathan's a little too nervous about speaking up when Shiva first asks if anyone wants to join her in the cave.

Dittogon, however...for some reason, it's finding the idea of maybe doing something in there interesting?  And it's nudging Nathan, trying to get him to head with Shiva.

"...uh...well, I guess if Ditto wants to go check it out...I guess we can come with you...safety in numbers and all that as well, right?"

If Shiva wouldn't know better, the situation would quickly become incredibly awkward, confusing, uncomfortable and basically a mess as she might interpret Nathan being so meek towards her as 'having a crush on her' and therefor (in her view) acting like a high schooler who's completely innocent about how to approach that girl that they like. Lololol, how amusing! Thankfully she DOES know better, but she chuckles a bit anyway, seems to take it lightly. That, and due to her like for Genie she's completely friendly towards FlygonDitto = no urge to slay the dragon with the power of the fae.

'Don't say anything if you don't have anything nice to say or something to contribute' is very within Shiva's nature.

"Oh, sure, glad that you join, Nathan!~ Now come, you know I'm not biting. Juni's taken care of as well, so no need to feel bad about going off for some exploring now that we're already here and got some downtime." Off she is already after she adjusted her Ranger's cloak and collected up Pancham and Purroin, am basically just waiting wether Raphael would like to join or prefers to stay out for free time with Tropius in order to know whether I'll have access to him during cave exploration or not. That'll infuence what I'll do in there probably.
