[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Bill: "I need those watches back, but that can wait until you've finished your business with Juni. They also can't be sent through the PC. I have some Pidove who could come get them from you at either city, if you want."

Thrawn: "I'm ready. Let's get our story straight, though? Keep in mind Juni will probably counter whatever we say."

With Shiva

He quietly nods and rubs his beard at her suggestion of continuing the group's trip to Elanor, as doubling back to either Bill's or Cress without Teleporting or Angie's assistance would be somewhat laborious and definately time consuming. Still, turning in Juni to the police/League ASAP was an imperative for multiple reasons, so putting it off or making it a non-priority bothered him a little, enough to turn and address Thrawn about it.

"Thrawn, should we go to Tezeal Vally and turn in Juni there, or take her back to Cress? Want to bring her to justice, and help League.....put a stop to Scimitars, but we have an important journey to complete. Well?"

In regard to the fae lady's ever so slightly bashful request (Which went completely over his head), Terra immediately nodded his head and shared a smile with her, before reaching over to pat her head in a comforting manner.

"*Nods* Sure. *Looks thoughtful* Hm.......ah. Angie can take you there quickly and back here, if you ride her *Points to the draconic seraph*. Can come with you and help too, if you want. Okay?"

He looks at the mystical lass with open, polite curiosity, while Angie (Who floated nearer to the ground/group post Lurch - My, weren't those weird experiences....) let out a  pleasant *Hmmmmsssszzzz* of agreement with her papa's plans. She'd be happy to give her papa's friends/pseudo family rides, so long as they didn't try to dictate or ask too much of her! Only her papa is worthy enough and earned the right to command and ask her for anytime in or out of battle, *SsssZzzz!*

Well, except maybe Nathan. She's felt closer and more in tune with him than ever now that she was a full fledged angelic Dragon, so she was willing to listen to him a little, but only THAT much, *SSsssZzzzZ!*

With Heart

Terra slightly boggled when the collector rather forwardly and graciously directed Spira's offering of a Egg to him, as that was quite an unexpected gesture for him. Before he could say anything about it, though, they interjected and offered their suggestion for the group to make their way back to Cress, which caused him to blink momentarily before he nodded his head.

"I agree. Very good to be back in present again. Once we turn Juni in, we can......not worry about her anymore."

With Nathan

Essentially, he agree with their suggestion readily with a nod, as taking Juni into custody with due expedience was exactly the sort of thing he wanted to do. He also agrees with Thrawn's suggestion, but leaves the story building up to everyone else, since he's afraid he'd mess something up by trying to construct a narrative of events, especially when time travel and secret organization of HIGHLY questionable morality were parts of it...

The boy's suggestion did remind him of something important, though, and he shared it with the group promptly.

"Hm......we should tell Dagney about Juni and.....everything else we learned about the Scimitars too. Ven told me she was helping you........investigating them, and said she had a lot of.......influence and power, so telling her would be good.....I think."

*Flashback!*

Right of the bat Nathan managed to both grab his attention and utterly mystifying/perplex him with his casual declaration of a talking Arcanine guarding endanger Pokemon species Eggs, and could only stare at them in Noctowlish fascination. You'd think after being *LURCHED* throughout time and meeting/experiencing all sorts of strange and epic things would have tempered him enough not to be boggled by the boy's succient tale, but it seemed some thing stretched past his imagination.

"Talking......Arcanine? Guardian of....those Egg? Gave them to you? Oh................ ......Okay. Sound.......weird, but I believe you. ......What is an Arcanine like, though? And Flabebe, Dratinin and......Moltres too? *Shakes head* Never seen or heard of those Pokemon before.  *Beat* ....How did you meet Arcanine? Why did he decide to.......give over Eggs to everyone?"

Thrawn: "Well, they could easily send a squad car to Teazel Valley, or have the Rangers take her into custody. I'm not sure we can make a decision until we decide exactly what we're going to say. If we tell the truth, we might want to go get Bill on our side. For high profile cases, they can use a specially trained lie-detecting Espeon if there's any question of who is telling the truth. But a good lawyer can get Espeon's testimony dismissed or blocked, and they have occasionally been wrong. We could pull a Gligarman and just drop her off outside the Ranger station with a wanted poster pinned to her shirt, then get ourselves on the witness list at a later time. Hm. Lots of options."

"Hm.....good ideas. Getting Bill or Dagney to.....support us in case against Juni would make things easier. Hm.....would the police in Cress help us out? Nathan and Heart did go.....report what happened with the Scimitars, and the detectives did pick them up, so they know what happened too....I think. Hm........oh, and evidence? *Brings out Pokedex* Recorded conversion of a Scimitar telling me everything he knew, and Nathan wrote down what Juni said. Would that be enough to put her away?"

Speaking of the wicked witch, how's she doing so far? Other than maybe being a little air sick and cramped from being bound on Angie all this time, of course.

She's gone sullen and quiet. And yeah she looks rather airsick, since she mostly levitates a little off the ground and teleports everywhere. No air travel for her.

"The problem is that Juni disappeared in 2014. Three years ago. They'll be re-opening a cold case. Your notes will be excellent evidence, but they'll still have to prove everything is legitimate. Juni's lawyers will claim she made those confessions under duress, which...is true. I think Dagny is a good ally to prove the tape was actually recorded, though, and that's a really good start. We'll need some kind of key evidence to support the claims made in the tape, but we'll have several weeks to obtain it."

Well, since she's not looking too well, Terra offers Juni some water to help settle her stomach and re-hydrate her, as well as some food if she wanted. She's a bad guy, but that doesn't mean he had to treat her anymore poorly because of that!

Anywho, time for more questions!

".......What would be key evidence? More.....recordings, or......something else? Hm......maybe one of the bases she talked about? Those would be.....big and important enough, right? *Beat* ...What about her Pokemon? Said they would be used as evidence, but.....they are not good enough on own?"

Continued Flashback!

First off, Nathan points to Thrawn's Arcanine.  "That's an Arcanine.  Except the one in the Volcano was bigger.  And probably worthy of being called a true Legendary.  Stories of Arcanine like that are probably why we call Arcanine the Legendary Pokemon in modern times, despite the ones we're familiar with not actually being fully fledged Legendaries."

Then Nathan gives brief descriptions of the other pokemon.  "Dratini is a really rare, serpentine Dragon.  It's final evolution, however, isn't serpentine, and the entire evolution line is very famous worldwide.  Flabebe is a really, really small, always female Fairy that is perpetually perched on its favorite kind of flower, which it usually chooses immediately after its birth.  Her final evolution is often depicted as a guardian of flower fields and meadows.  Moltres...I can tell you more about that one later.  They're a Legendary Fire type bird pokemon, though, so Heart has the most important and difficult job out of all of us."

And finally, how they got in that situation!  "Shiva and I found a couple predators trying to get at the eggs Arcanine was guarding.  We KOed them...and I think Arcanine probably just dropped them off somewhere outside the cave later after we left...and Arcanine told us about what he was doing.  After a little talking, he decided we might be able to help the species that are endangered in our time repopulate since we're kind-hearted.  His words, not mine.  And I'm paraphrasing a little since that wasn't exactly what he said, but that was the gist of it.  Heart and Spira wandered over to the cave a little bit after Shiva and I finished battling the predators and had the same opportunity to potentially adopt one of the eggs.  This isn't going to be an easy job, but we'll do our best to see it through."

"Her Pokemon are better evidence, because Pokemon are not normally capable of much lying. They're also hard to communicate with. It's a big game of twenty questions. I wouldn't be surprised if there was excellent evidence in one of the bases they talked about. The gauntlets are also good evidence; they'll have to subpoena some kind of technician. These all make your story credible. What we really need is concrete evidence of a pattern of major crimes. Show her assault on us was not a one-time thing. If we can find more people to flip...maybe get some dirt on them...convince them to testify they've committed crimes on her behalf or on behalf of a Scimitar organization...then we'd have it in the bag. But any evidence obtained under duress is suspect. I really want to get enough evidence for a warrant, get it to the police and tell them exactly where they can find a smoking gun. Some of this can even be done anonymously."

I forgot about those predators, do you want to flashback to catching them? Otherwise, Arcanine will dispose of them like you said. They have pretty typical moves, but they mostly just had high stats as wild Pokemon. Floatzel is common but popular. Seviper is a little rarer but not very popular.
