"I'll start by having Porygon intercept any incoming transmissions to the gauntlet."

"For your story...I need to know everything you know about the Scimitar's tech, and everything you know about their criminal behavior, and finally everything you know about their connections to Almanac."
"Detective Thrawn is probably going to want that gauntlet as evidence later, so I'll tell him to get in contact with you later if that's okay with ya."
"Alright. I'll start with the tech."
"The grunts use simpler gauntlets you wear like any normal gauntlet. They're not as powerful as their superiors', and they were primarily made of leather instead of metal 3 years ago. We brought back some of those with us as well, and Thrawn has 'em in the evidence pile. The more powerful gauntlets, as you can see, are literal metal hands. They have to chop off a part of their arms to use those, so Juni's missing a hand. As for how they work...first off, they have wires that hook to belts and that have very special pokeballs that require keys to open that only the Scimitar leaders carry around. The pokeballs contain pokemon, and the Scimitars essentially borrow/copy a pokemon's abilities and use them as their own, sometimes even changing the effects of the moves. Juni's group used Ally Switch to inflict a special kind of variation of confusion that made pokemon owned by other trainers temporarily obey their orders instead of the original trainers', for example. The metal hands also have to be wired into their nerves to function properly, and it apparently takes a ton of training to learn how to use the gauntlets properly."
"Connections to Almanac: they're 100% partnered with them. Both Juni and her grunt admitted as much, and there's a Scimitar base hidden in the Almanac Labs on the Cress Cliffs. Earth Scimitars apparently do a lot more to directly help Almanac than the Water Scimitars do, but both are provided tech from the company to use and/or test. That probably includes the gauntlets if I had to guess, given how advanced they are. It probably also includes some of the technology the Water Scimitars use around their bases, which are based around using replicas of Genesect's various Drives as keys of sorts. Fairly complex stuff. That Genesect statue in Wineberry is apparently also a robot in disguise, and isn't just concealing the entrance to one of their bases."
"As for what could potentially be considered crimes...let me list a few."
- There's the attempted kidnapping of Shiva during the Little Cup, obviously.
- There's that 3 year old case of attacking a man in the Skull Ruins, followed by attacking a large group of trainers and Detective Thrawn immediately afterwards in a bid to keep things quiet.
- There's stealing a Neverstone from Professor Mallorn, which we'd found in the Water Scimitar Base in Wineberry awhile back. Mallorn would have to confirm that we found it, though, because I used it awhile back since Mallorn let us keep it. There was also something the Scimitars called Castaclay, which was their own...or Almanac's, I'm not sure which...devolution solution, albeit not as successful a solution as Mallorn's Neverstone, which is why they wanted to steal the Neverstone and reverse engineer it. We gave Mallorn a sample of that awhile back, and he probably still has that laying around somewhere in that lab of his.
- Hidden base underneath Wineberry is a big one. They basically duped the town into letting them build the place without a permit or anything from what I gathered from the Rangers there about when the Genesect statue was 'built'. Seemed like a generous offer, sure, but the residents didn't even stop to question what the constructors needed all those materials for, it seems...
- And someone attacking me and threatening to kill me and my pokemon with a Mega Pinsir before disappearing into the Water Scimitar Base.
- There's the recent break-in, as well...
- A Scimitar also attacked me, Shiva, Ventus, and some other people on Route 1 when we were trying to get through the swamp that had shown up there with the help of some kind folks with an RV and a Mr. Mime. Well, they never actually attacked us directly, but they did try to get the RV stuck in the swamp. And Gallade hated that man's guts, too. He's got some reeeeaaallll big beef with Almanac and the Scimitars for...well, whatever they did to him exactly. I really only know that when I found Ralts a year ago, he was almost dead, and Mallorn and I don't think the more recent entries on the Ralts line in the Almanac showing up after I found Ralts is a coincidence.
- And the last one is from our recent jaunt through Mt. Sentry's Labyrinth, where we met Celebi. The Scimitars attacked us to try and 'remove us from the equation' when they were done tailing us, and they were using brainwashed members of the Solosis line to do so, one of which I have in my own roster of pokemon to choose from due to Celebi's assistance. That last one might not be as believable, though.
- Oh, and as of 2014, Juni said they had some kind of mole planted in the E4, but Juni didn't know how much longer they'd be able to get information from them for, and that was three years ago. If they haven't been found out yet, though, they might still be there today.
"That's all the wrongdoings I know of."
"...the real kicker about that three year old case though is who they attacked in the Skull Ruins three years ago. Eyewitness descriptions were all merely 'he looked really average', but I got some more information from Juni and the grunt because they'd been getting info on him for who knows how long. The victim didn't have a permit to explore the deeper levels of the Ruins according to Thrawn, but he was on official League business according to Juni, looking for certain artifacts in the Ruins, so I'm assuming it was on the down low. She kept calling him a 'hotshot trainer' who could go toe to toe with the Elite 4, and they didn't want to engage him directly as a result. The grunt said he had a Skarmory and a Luxray. And Juni said his name was...Marco. And the only person I can think of who fits all of the above descriptions is...my dad. That incident happened about a week after my mom and I had started to wonder why he hadn't returned from his trip yet or sent a message saying he'd been delayed, too."
Nathan lets out another breath. "...well? That enough info for ya?"
Gallade is out as usual and leaning against the wall, paying careful attention to everything that's going on...just in case. It pays to be alert in situations like this, even if the person you're talking to is someone you trust for the most part...

Dagny whistles. "Wow. That is a lot of data I can use to refine my search...oh, and yes, it is probably very hard on you to hear such news. Don't worry, I've made it my personal goal to find out what happened to him. It will help a lot in trying to bring down their organization. And Almanac has started to affect the economy of Stair City, so that's another personal goal I have. And I always get what I want."
"Let's see. We'll give the gauntlet back to Detective Thrawn, but don't tell him Porygon is inside. Porygon will fly back to me if a signal comes through, or he will disable it after, let's say, three days and return anyway. I'll send a few Pokemon to Cress City, with Tanuki's permission, to keep an eye on things."
She shifts in her chair, and a trio of Magnemite fly out of her robes to hover over Nathan.
"Do you have a way into the Genesect statue base?"
"I'm going to focus on neutralizing the mole. It won't be easy if she decides to put up a fight, but we'll see. Leave that to me and me alone."
"It's probable that Almanac has put as many legal separations between themselves and the Scimitars as possible. I've already run into a few firewalls, shell corporations, and 'creative' file systems. That's another thing I'll work on cracking. Somewhere in one of their bases, they will have a crucial server. If you can get me even a second of physical access to that, all their secrets will be mine. Here are two flash drives. Get them into that server if you get the chance. A Porygon could help you as well. Here's a picture of some typical hi-security servers like Almanac would use...it's printing from my desk now. And this is illegal, so be discreet."
"Right now, we should be able to get Juni put away for life, but it'll be harder to prove that connection to Almanac. Just keep contacting me whenever you happen to come up with any evidence. If the Scimitars are pursuing you - and they will probably increase that now that you've brought low their leader - you may have more chances to collect evidence. Just be careful you don't run into too many at once...like, what, thirty of them?"
"Anything else?"

"At some point, I'm gonna try to get a permit and explore the lower levels of the Ruins, and I'm going to be looking for him while I'm there. Or at least for clues about where he might have gone if I haven't heard anything concrete by then. A Ruin Maniac named Elminster said my dad was probably driven into the Kadabra Chambers, a place that none are said to have returned from...he can handle himself, but that's gonna be a tricky place to search...he's very capable of getting out of the Ruins, though. There were some baby pokemon that were apparently looking for him, and they found him just before he got attacked. I learned later that the baby pokemon weren't in the Ruins after the attacks and their leader seemed happy, so that means my dad probably had Skarmory fly the babies out of the Ruins and to safety. Probably pressed further in afterwards to continue his search for those artifact instead of also getting out himself, knowing him...I bet Luxray barely has any time to rest, being in a dangerous place like that...but considering my dad probably took along his team from his Elite 4 challenge given he definitely knew he was going to be exploring the Ruins, he's probably fine..."
"Awesome. Seems like a good compromise. Just make sure the thing doesn't self destruct like it was supposed to. The only reason it hasn't yet is because of the time travel shenanigans, according to Juni."
"There's a hidden entrance in the wall in the middle of a corridor with double doors at both ends in a restaurant in Wineberry called the Mienfood Eatery. I've also got a key I can use to enter their base at Wineberry any time, plus some of their robes I can use as a disguise. And I could also enter their Lake Chicory base if I can find the locked entrance to it. There's apparently an additional entrance to their base with no locked doors in a secret tunnel underneath the lake, but that one's rather heavily defended according to Juni."
Not much Nathan can do or say about the mole, so he just nods.
"Long story short, I can get into the Wineberry Scimitar base at any time. Found a lot of documents there the first time we visited it, too. Ironically, they insist they aren't a criminal organization in one of them. In another, they had some rather extensive notes on Genesect and detailed that they'd stolen Team Plasma's blueprints for their model of the bug, which is why I'm worried about them potentially trying to revive a Genesect Fossil for their own use...and then there were their notes on the Castaclay and the recently stolen Neverstone as well. I wrote all of that info down for future reference when we came across it, and I'm working on trying to figure out what to do about the Genesect Fossil situation. I might have to talk to you about that at a later point."
"I've got Porygon-Z still. It can definitely help me with that data decryption. I've also got Rotom, but...still working on that one. Their servers don't stand a chance, though." Nathan puts the flash drives and the pictures in his bag.
"Yeah, uh...30 is definitely a reasonable number, given that there were around 50 or so when we finally saw them in person while we were in Mt. Sentry...Juni's group was maybe...at least 20 strong or something? We fought 8 of them, including Juni, and KOed all of them except Juni. Then the Cress Police captured another 5 of the grunts when they raided the warehouse the Scimitars were hiding in. I'm assuming the rest took Thrawn to Lake Chicory and the two Campers to Earthstar Forest before scattering...there were probably more than 13 of them if they managed to overpower 8 other trainers while only 8 of them surrounded and fought us. They definitely work in large groups whenever out on missions...we'll definitely be careful. If we weren't on their hitlist after the Mt. Sentry mission was a failure for them, we're definitely going to be on there now."
"...oh yeah, two more things. The two campers that were kidnapped along with Thrawn and not saved were dropped off in Earthstar Forest on Juni's orders to 'test their skills', apparently. I haven't yet found out if anyone saw them again after that, though. Their names were Ballin and Jill, and they both had a Sandslash each. And the other thing...Juni could Mega Evolve her Alakazam while wearing that gauntlet, and it bypassed the normal bond requirements as long as the pokemon is in one of the pokeballs on their belt and holding its respective Mega Stone. However, she doesn't know if she would have been able to Mega Evolve her Alakazam if she was actually trying to use it in battle. Based on how she treated her pokemon, though, I'm not sure she would have been able to. They all seemed pretty miserable for the most part. I don't think it entirely rules out the possibility that whoever threatened me with his Mega Pinsir had a Key Stone, but...it's still something to consider. And while Almanac and/or the Scimitars hadn't made synthetic Mega Stones yet in 2014, they have them now, in 2017, and I wouldn't be surprised if they used the gauntlets' functions as an artificial Key Stone as a part of the development process for those."
"I think that's every...oh, wait, no, one more thing: Juni almost killed Calam when we first fought her. He hates her with a passion, to put it mildly. I convinced him to not maul her, but it wasn't easy. A Nidoqueen's Superpower almost killed him outright due to that Ally Switch she and her grunts pulled off. Might be worth noting."
"Okay...I think that's everything. If there's nothing else, I guess these Magnemite and I need to head to Cress now. They've got a job to do, and I...need to go break the news to my mom and uncle...*deep breathe*...and get some rest soon. It's been a loooooonnnnngggg three hours, in ways I don't think anyone besides Bill would fully believe, given he was helping us out while all of that time travel was going on. Keep me updated on that break in case. I'll also make sure Detective Thrawn knows you're working on this. Do you want me to deliver the gauntlet to him now, or do you want me to tell him to come pick it up?"
Well then, once any lingering questions are answered, I suppose it's time to Teleport back to Cress (with Ditto turned Gallade's help once again). Before we get to where exactly Nathan's going, though, do the Magnemite go about their own business once they get to Cress?

You fly and Teleport to your destinations. I'm guessing you dismount before getting to town for discretion's sake.
Thrawn sends you a text to let you know things are going well from his side: Juni is in custody, and the process has begun. They don't expect to have any problems holding her for trial.
Ah... Given the amount of evidence that proofs Juni's guilt, Shiva hopes that the trial won't stretch itself over weeks, after roughly a week she might call either the good detective himself or turn to a League Official to ask about the Pokemon. She trusts Unova's League, but doesn't know enough/havn't had enough direct contact with the representatives of Creshire's League to trust that one to the same degree, and she hates having to deny Raphael something. Poor smol Togepi... She hopes they'll be taking it all well.
Flying on this draconic Dunseraph was pleasant, amazing and something very different from flying on her Tropius, the whole time she keeps a close hold on Terra for safety while watching the land beneath them pass by at quite the pace. Shiva indeed dismounts, thanks the mountainous man and Angie for the ride, and lets the former know that she'll dwell within the Center before heading to Celebi Park for the night. Since it's partially Terra's task to keep his boss' love safe, he has a right to know where she's hanging around!
Shiva's first stop-by: The Eastern Pokemon Center, where she'll ask the current Nurse Joy in duty for a free room to stay a few hours. Unless the weather forcast tells of a rainstorm or similar, she doesn't intend to sleep over there however. First thing she does within the room is enjoying a neat warm shower followed by napping for roughly half an hour in the company of Cottonee, Vaporeon and all the Eggs she currently takes care of; she needed that rest in a comfy bed to reenergize after all that time traveling.
Next she'll visit the Caferteria of the Center for a good and plentiful vegeterian dinner, I naturally cannot know what @ Mikaruge108 intends to do within town but Shiva would invite Spira to share a dinnertable with her if he likes. "It's all free for those having a Trainer's Lisence, same for rooms to stay the night! While it's all self-service the food's rather good, nothing exotic or expensive, and the rooms are warm and comfy."
After that she'll head upstairs to her room and serves all her Pokemon on hand their respective dinner (consisting of Dry Food, dried berries and an arrangement of healthy food from the Cafeteria), she herself has brought a cup of hot herbal tea to enjoy while she prepares for something she has been looking for as well as procrastinated for a bit: Creating a special Ball from one of the Apricorns she's owning. She carefully selects the Green Apricorn ![[Image: Bag_Green_Apricorn_Sprite.png]](https://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/0/01/Bag_Green_Apricorn_Sprite.png) from her batch, draws one of her four units of Meteoric Superconducter needed for the process, prepares the needed tools from her crafting materials, and gets started on the delicate process. Vaporeon can lend her a helping hand if she'd be up to it.
That will spend an Encounter Slot for Shiva, Iron, am I right in the assumption that no dice roll is needed for her due to her high skill in Crafting? Or to phrase things differently, may I get to transfer a Pokemon of mine to the created Friend Ball right away? She'll need to grab it from Bill's PC first and will do that in Celebi Park.
Out of curiosity/for the lolz, will the weather be good enough that Shiva can sleep over there once more, and how are people in Cress City reacting to a big Pangoro walking by her side? :>

Terra easily sells the Trumbeak Feather for $3000. Someone from Telperion offers to buy the Aipom Orange for $4500, and said he'll give you a cut of the grant money when this thing is re-introduced. That's a post-game source of income for you.
Pansage can sell for $2500, or three rare elemental monkey PokeDolls (one of each).
Farfetch'd can sell for $5000, or an acclaimed/very exclusive week-long online cooking class called Kookodile. Completing this course will grant you an automatic 1 point of specialty in Craft OR Chemistry.
The two Victreebel together can be traded for $3500, or a Rock/Ground/Fighting TM of your choice, or this would be another chance to get a Huge Power Diggersby that has 40XP.
Finally, your four pristine items can be sold for $40,000!!
Pinsir is worth $4500, or a Honchkrow with good moves.
The special Rhyhorn would be worth another Beldum + $2000.
Nathan, Dagny can see you right away.
(Not gonna trade yet. I gonna need find someone to take out those items in the hide of Rhyhorn. But not before deal things with Tanuki.)
After the teleportation, Heart rush to the Gym of Tanuki. Not before of course he send a quick message to Tanuki saying he have to talk with her urgent.
He reach the Gym, and search for Gym Leader of the normal type.

A few quick notes:
-While in town, Spira will see if he can find someone interested in the hood ornament he found in the Chrome era
-After that he'll mainly wander town getting used to 2017.

"Go ahead and deliver the gauntlet. Everything is all set. I promise it won't explode."
When you arrive, the Magnemite instantly head off, inspecting the break-in site, the old warehouse hideout, the jail, etc. They don't need you, and they'll keep sentry.
The rain has just stopped, should be nice weather for the next couple days.
Spira, the PC will immediately print off your holographic Trainer Card for 2017. You sell the hood ornament for $750.
Here are some of the sights to see in Cress:

No craft roll needed for the Friend Ball. Pangoro is pretty rare in Creshire, but yours is well behaved. So you get curious looks, but no scared looks. If anyone were to stare too much, Pangoro would roll his eyes or glare at them.
